Bridge 45 in Moray

We booked the day before for a table of 8, child and a dog. The lady on the phone was very accommodating and allowed us to book outside which they dont usually allow. On arrival one waitress appeared a bit stressed there was a table of eight coming in which I was surprised about as its a big restaurant. The menu had a fantastic selection. The food came and was delicious, fish lasagne, lamb, special steak and steak surf and turf are all delicious. We had a lovely view outside and the dog was very comfortable. Fabulous food with great service. I would definitely return!!

Disappointed with Sunday Roast, Silverside was served - Not the cut of meat that was on menu! Also cut the wrong way making it hard to cut & digest. Price was good, server was pleasant,also young Man who served desert was pleasant & helpful.

Had a great time here - BUT I dont agree with the owner giving a member of staff a dressing down in front of customers. I was mortified and embarrassed for the girl. she was young, (18) as was Max who was only 14 but managed to serve well. Food was OK, but mussels were cold when received. All the young staff were polite and friendly. Been here a lot of times as we visit Lossie regularly. Will go again but may have to say something if this happens again! During a regular jaunt around Lossiemouth, we stopped here for a hot drink on what was a lovely day down at the East Beach. Certainly not our first visit but this one was as good as any other. You really can’t fault the views - we normally sit outside as it keeps the wee man entertained. There is always plenty going on along the street. On a good day you can see as far as Buckie as you look along the white sands. We opted for two ‘Lattes’ and they were decent. Really fancied some tray bake with it but there wasn’t any available (may have popped into Ashers Bakery instead)! Always a pleasure stopping here - as the Summer approaches we’ll be hoping to pop down more often - potentially for an evening meal as well. A great local business.

Unexpectedly good. Great staff, really outstanding food. Fabulous location. So good we booked for the next night. I wish they had a better selection of whisky bearing in mind the 50 distilleries on their doorstep.

visited for the first time in several years and was delighted with our meal a mussel starter followed by steak rossini were five star-the onion rings were to kill for! unusually for us we have rebooked to celebrate entering Level 1

We ate twice at the Bridge 45 during out delightful stay at Lossiemouth House, a nearby B and B. This was during the Pandemic and nothing more could be done to ensure the safety of the customers. The menu was varied, imaginative and the portions were of an excellent size - just right for one of their delightful puddings to end the meal on a high! As for the service - it was efficient, friendly and professional. There is no doubt that we will eat here again when next in the area.

Booked at Bridge 45 but were seated next door at the Italian place. Apparently 3 businesses owned by same people and working together. Organisation wasn’t great. Lots of young staff who were pleasant and helpful when called but not very attentive. There were 11 of us! Food was mixed. We booked for carvery but had to ask for carvery menu. Some meals were good - taste and value. Others were sub standard. Guinness was warm when pulled in the place we sat but cold when it came from the place next door! Not sure I’d go back.

My wife and I used to visit this restaurant about 3 years ago when it was labelled as the 1629; however I was aware that it had recently rebranded itself to Bridge 45. So I called the number listed on Bridge 45 website to book a table which was done without issue...this was however the very beginning of our issues. Upon arrival we ventured up stairs to the restaurant to find the door open but nobody home and no tables set etc.... After a short while a staff member approached us and said sorry but we’re closed?! Closed I said, I have a booking?! I was then informed that albeit the restaurant was close our booking was downstairs in another restaurant / grill and we were reassured that it was the same menu etc. So we’d venture downstairs, informed them of our booking to be told...no you’re not in here, you’re actually in another restaurant down the street. The other restaurant actually is a pub and one of 3 businesses owned and operated seemingly as one. So having booked to go into the restaurant, to be told you’re now in a grill, to then be told... you’re actually in a pub is a joke. So instead of a nice dining experience we were seated in a bar area next to a gambling machine and a wide screen tv showing a football match. Classy. Before I go any further I’d like to say that I’m not the type to write many reviews but on this occasion I’m so annoyed I don’t want any other poor sole to go through the same dismal experience. So next the food. Awful menu and nothing near anything anyone would expect from a restaurant. So in order to avoid any further disappointment we thought we’d play it safe and have bar meal level of food expecting it to be ok - how wrong could be be! We ordered the Beach burger, a dish in the menu that seemed a safe bet. Advertised as a fresh rump steak burger, skinny fries and salad. What arrived was what was clearly a frozen burger that was no thicker than a pencil, and tougher than welly boot. The skinny fries were, thick cut chips deep fried with nothing skinny about them! The staff and service also leaves little to be desired. Lots of very young teenage staff, which I have no issue with at all I may add, clearly have been provided with no train gig whatsoever. Cutlery thrown on the table and very little attentiveness etc. All in all - don’t waste your money. Go to McDonalds, Burger King or KFC - at least here you don’t expect great level of service but you know you’ll get a reasonable standard of food. Failing that.... treat yourself to a pot noodle.

Poor visit 15/08. Had to wait an age to get table covid cleaned, remainder of service was prompt. Special Hongroise beef had 3 small pieces, rest was mushrooms, although not advertised in the description. Came with chips, rice and undercooked garlic bread. Beach burger was a bird's eye frozen one, certainly not the rump steak burger advertised. Prices have increased from their on line menus, and they do not pass on the 15% VAT reduction to customers either, as was the purpose behind this government objective, but choose to keep this for themselves. Very poor visit, poor food and interrupted half way through meal by staff asking to take our details for track and trace. This was sporadic to say the least. Will not be returning. Clearly more interested in ripping off visitors and tourists to catch up on lost revenues. Good luck bridge45, you'll need it if you continue like this.....

Fabulous fish and chips and mussels and great service. Well done in Covid infection control. We ate outside and the staff were superb.

Fair quality pub grub served on time without any undue delay between courses but the patrons were not adhering to Covid-19 guidance. Staff were not wearing masks or visors and did not clean seats and laminated menus between customers. It was also observed that the pen that the patrons asked customers to complete track/trace forms was not sanitized. In addition to this customers queued at the bar to pay for their meals directly alongside our table without social distancing.

We got married in Bridge 45 last month and we couldn’t fault it, from start to finish we had an amazing day!! Our wedding meal was outstanding and we’d definitely recommend this for a wedding venue.

Great choice of dishes, all at reasonable prices. Food was excellent, very tasty and good portion sizes, served by attentive and friendly staff. Good to see this establishment back to it's very best, as our last two visits, about two years ago, were disappointing. All credit to the folks at Bridge 45.

Nous devions aller dans un autre restaurant où nous avions réservé et finalement, nous nous sommes rabattus sur celui-ci. Accueil sympathique, carte intéressante. Nous avons pu profiter du plat du jour après une excellente soupe de poisson. Pour les desserts, ne vous attardez pas tout comme pour l'irish coffe, ils ne maîtrisent pas la technique.Cela reste cependant plus que convenable.

Graziosa location nello splendido fronte mare di questo bellissimo paesini del Moray . Il pesce mi è sembrato fresco ma non mi ha convinto la realizzazione , nulla di particolarmente gustoso o degno di essere ricordato . Non tornerei

Big thank you to bridge45 for catering for our wedding 2 weeks ago, absolutely outstanding food, they went the extra mile and made everything absolutely perfect for us. Highly recommend, everyone loved their food!

My wife and I had some family staying at Spey Bay for the week, so we all met at this restaurant for an evening meal.LOCATION - situated on Clifton Road overlooking the eastern bay and footbridge. A stone throw from the sea. On arrival, you will need to go upstairs before you wait to be served.INTERNALLY - we were sat down in a comfortable waiting lounge and served drinks. We chose from the menu and were shown to our table just after.The decor was a bit dated and could do with a bit of modernisation in the future. However, the layout was lovely, the place was busy and our table was cosy and neatly presented.STAFF - our waitress was polite, always nearby if we needed anything and she was a credit to the business. At no time did we feel unattended to or unwelcome.DINING - our starter and main course dishes were both served quickly. I can’t speak for anyone else but my ‘Haggis Trio’ starter was sublime and my ‘Scallops’ in the main course were beautifully cooked. The ‘Garlic Sauce’ and other accompaniments (see photograph) were a tasty addition. Very little argument from me!COST - i’m not going to lie to you, the restaurant was expensive. However, the menu was extensive with some amazing dishes well worth paying the money for. Our visiting family very kindly treated us so I am unaware of the final cost (judgement solely based on the menu prices).Overall, this place is a credit to Lossiemouth with a selection of ‘Seafood’ dishes that thankfully promote local sourcing and trade.

My husband took me out for birthday dinner..... the young waiters were very attentive and friendly. Our starters were amazing... mains were mouth watering and tasty and good sized portions.... desserts. I was full but my husband always has a wee space saved... he took the rum baba.... a smile to his face. Ok I helped a little, I had three or more spoonfuls of the delicious ice cream. A lovely ambience, el divo playing in the background. A perfect evening. See you again soon.

Not sure why it changed. Same people, slightly different menu. Gone down hill since it was the 1629. Had a couple of meals there since, but to be honest, not worth it. Meals are tasteless if you looking for spicy. Used to be my favourite place to eat in Lossiemouth, no more.

First thing is, location....really felt a holiday vibe on a sunny day looking over the beach.

Not very appealing from outside, very cozy and well appointed on the inside, this restaurant offers one of the best seafoods in Europe. The fish chowder is world class , the North Sea halibut is mouth melting and the fresh langoustines are simply out of this world, as the garlic and butter sauce they come with is delicious.

My husband and I went here on Saturday for lunch and I was very disappointed with my curry.Had I known it was a fruity chicken curry I would not have ordered it.When it arrived it looked lovely with home made Nann until I started eating it as it was uncooked in the middle.My husband had fish and chips and he enjoyed it.There is very little atmosphere in this pub.The staff dont interact with the customers and all look pretty glum.Even the owner never spoke to people he just stood behind the bar on his mobile phone,Will not be rushing back here.

Had fresh herring and tomahawk chop , was amazing! Highly recommended a visit. Table service was brilliant. Great value for money.

We visited on Sunday and decided to sit outside. Even though staff knew we were there, I had to go inside and collect menus, then go in and order and when the food arrived I had to go back in to ask for condiments!

Acceuil et service sympa efficace et chaleureux..

Nicely and generously presented plates, good food. Very nice and helpful waitresses. The pasta with seafood is refined. Good wines available per glass.

Husband and I had Sunday lunch her we had a starter then main meal was excallant decore was nice staff lovely and friendly ten out of ten will go again x

We were celebrating our visit and thanking our host. We all enjoyed our meals and I was well looked after as I am a coeliac. My main and sweet were adapted for me. Delicious, and thank you for the care taken.

Operating under a new name but with very little change inside, the steaks were expensive and while my starter was good, the seafood main course relied heavily on a buttery sauce. Lots of side vegetables that were unnecessary gave the menu a confused feeling. There are better places to eat in Lossiemouth, and better value too.

5 star meal steak cooked perfectly. Staff were Amazing. Perfect way to spend my birthday. Can’t wait to come back
