Lots of screens upstairs for watching the football.decent number of beers. I Believe the pub grub is ok. Good ambience.

Come in tonight for food and drink..lack of staff is warranting and public being upset as tables are not being attended to at all.. older lady member of staff shouting in public toilets for a staff member who is unwell on top of same woman shouting at staff on floor in front of customers is very unprofessional..not crazy busy bit need more guidance from senior member in charge, Aiden was very apologetic but to little to late unfortunately..we are regulars here but not acceptable.

I am a fairly regular visitor to the Granary and have never been disappointed. Probably the best value meals in Elgin with a wide-ranging menu. Friendly staff and service is always good. On this occasion, I only had a couple of drinks from a well stocked bar. There was a good atmosphere and I enjoyed my visit

We come in for coffee every week with my friends, it’s always great and the service is amazing. Alex, Martyna and Gary always go about and beyond for us.

I come every Saturday for Gin and tonic’s with a group of my girl friends. We get spoiled every week with the fantastic service from the staff. The pub is a lovely place to spend a day and the staff couldn’t be better!!

The service is great and very helpful. I recommend breakfast wrap to anyone.

Was there twice in March 2025 with colleagues. Watched the rugby Six Nations tournament. Nice ambiance! Being Canadians, we had no clues how that game played 🤣. Anyways, there was beer, food and ambiance. Thank you.

The food is great, and so is the service. It's always good to be there. I'm never disappointed. 2 of my favourites down bellow. 👌 UPDATED REVIEW: After they reopened once they were done with the renovation, it's lacking on availability of ingredients, and it seems there is an ongoing miscommunication between the staff serving costumers and the kitchen. QUICK/LAST UPDATE I have visited this place many times with never any major issues. It was until one weekend when i went in with my daughter for breakfast. We both sat down and waited... and waited. There were people who walked in 5/10 mins after us and were already being served. Having my daughter saying she was hungry and me running low on my patience, i had tried to get one of the staff's attention. Said hello a few times, even stood up of my seat, but to no avail. She completely blanked me. After that, i decided to go and speak with her college to figure out what and why that was happening. "You'll get served when you get served" he replied.. To this day, i still can't still figure out the reason for such terrible customer service. Never went back since then.

Nice food for a Pub, great atmosphere during sports events nights. Service is not too attentive, but the place is relatively big for 3 or 4 people serving tables and at the bar, so it is understandable.

Good atmosphere , food cheap and drinks some dishes not the best . But like it overall. You can go in sit all day sit with refill teas and coffee and feel comfortable. Large Scottish breakfast is the best and great value for money.

It was a birthday celebration and the staff could do more for us they were superb. If we go to Scotland again we will definitely go back here and the food was amazing and tasted great

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We had travelled from England for 50th birthday weekend celebrations and booked here for 8 of us. We had brought a cake with us and the sparkler candles we had wouldn't light, then the candle they used went out when they brought it to the table. So they decided to knock our drinks off the bill, which we did not expect. The pub was very quiet but had tvs on and music in the background. The food was lovely, we didn't have a bad meal between us and the price for 8 mains was under £100, what a bargain! This made our weekend, finding this little gem with such friendly staff.

Really quick service, cheerful waitress, beautiful food, accepted blue light discount. A lovely cosy experience on a chilly evening.

Very busy, well it was Valentines Day! Staff very attentive and helpful, food was great and we even had room for a dessert. Nice quiet table and dog friendly too. Not sure if we would have been so easily accommodated if we hadn't booked ahead.

Good food and the staff were very good and help full.the seniors menu’s it might be small but food was jus perfect and the price for a three course meal is really cheep.

Unexpected lunch out lead us, thankfully, to The Granary. Staff were exceptional, food ordered, delivered, and enjoyed very comfortably. Meal was lovely.

Sunday afternoon Christmas meal with my sister very noisy football match o n the TV seemed to cater for people watching not considering the other customers I would have stayed longer but had to leave as couldn't have a Conversation above the noise.

Bar was busy with the big football fixture nearby but we got seated and served in good time.

Well, it is what it is. Got all the drinks wrong and the food was… warm. Tom’s burger got messed up. Sad times

My husband and I visited for lunch this week, both meals were outstanding and Great value for money 😉 The staff were there ever friendly, helpful selves 10/10 in every respect 🥰 we will be back soon!

I can't recommend the Granary high enough, The Sunday Club had our Christmas day out and just recently a bithday celebration for one of our members. The staff were excellent but a special mention to Liza who helped organise it all for us and put on a great spread for us all and decorated the table also. We go there every Sunday and are always well looked after 5 stars all the way.

I'm a regular Sunday club member and the staff are always fantastic. Really good atmosphere, fun and great banter between staff and customers. Full breakfast are well worth it

After work I headed to the granary to get some tea. A pretty girl came up to me and asked for my order. I ordered a hunters chicken and an appetiser . My food came shortly after , nice and hot. The girl came back up and asked if everything was okay . I stayed for a bit and then went up to pay. All staff were kind and welcoming. 9/10 experience, would come back again.

Was in tonight for a family meal, when we arrived the table was all decorated. The food was really good, staff were fantastic special mention to Siobhan for all the effort.

It was very cold, the food is not made fresh with fresh ingredients but mostly the draft blowing out of the venting at head and neck height was freezing and when we mentioned it to the staff all we got by way if response was "it comes from the kitchen" It's an OK place but nothing special

Service and food was good value for money,the bar had a few parties going at the same time,wouldn't hesitate in using the Granary again.

Really lovely staff members, cheery and polite. My partner had a breakfast wrap that he said was really good. Menu was varied and would go again. I didn't ask (was not hungry) so I could be wrong, the menu was not marked up with gluten free so assuming I would have to ask for a different menu or what is GF? The staff was able to guide me to gluten free drinks options easily though however out of stock of the beers.

I booked a festive meal for 23 of my Active Seniors participants for our annual Christmas lunch. It was very well organised with fantastic crackers and meal. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely book again for next year!

Attended with a number of friends for Christmas and the Granary went above and beyond to make our experience a good one . Great food , great atmosphere and great value . Loads of TVs to watch the Live Sports- and even a visit from Santa himself … a little bit of Christmas magic . Liza always goes that extra mile to make sure that her customers are well looked after .

Never visited before. It felt quite like Wetherspoons but the staff seemed to want to care more. The lady on the bar briefed us that upstairs had seats but the bar wasn't open. We sat upstairs. Was quite a nice visit.

What a great afternoon spent with friends in The Granary where Liza had gone above and beyond to accommodate us for a wee festive gathering. The table set with crackers , the cozy fires on the TV screens and the warm welcome made it easy to forget the awful weather outside . The food and the service were great - and we even had a visit from the big man himself - Santa ( and the Gringe also made an appearance … unless I had drunk too much wine and imagined that ) . We enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed on for the evening quiz. An amazing local pub , who also raised an incredible amount of money for McMillan cancer while we were there . Thanks to you all ( but especially to Liza and Santa) for putting a little bit of magic into my Christmas

Yet again another fantastic day/evening at the Granary in Elgin. Liza and the staff as always excellent. Table was very festive and the Sunday Club had a great time.

Told the kitchen was temporarily closed (maybe 10 or 15 minute wait) but would be opening soon. So we ordered drinks and got a table then 10 minutes later we were told that the kitchen was closed for the night. This was 7 o'clock

We were in Elgin shopping and decided to nip in for something to eat, Not very impressed, the table was sticky so obviously hadn't been cleaned, wanted a Sunday roast but strangely although it was Sunday and it was on the menu there was no Sunday roast and it was still midday, we opted for a burger which was on a brioche bun which just fell apart, the house wine was not very nice which after a few sips was left, the staff were pleasant enough so no complaints there.

Can't fault anything here. Lovely decor, cosy, attentive staff and food always excellent.

Huge thank you to management and staff for the amazing breakfast with Santa today. Everyone went above and beyond, couple of teething problems but everyone got fed and the kids had a ball. Make it easier on yourselves next year - set menu and no choices. Hope Santa the elves and the Grinch aren’t too tired. See you next year.

Booked a table for the over 60’s Christmas . Food was delicious, the service was excellent & the atmosphere was really festive.

We went to pensioners Xmas party and it was excellent. Staff are brilliant. Live music was very good.

We visit twice a month with our Veterans Breakfast Club. Staff are mostly friendly and helpful although some of the younger ones appear to be there under duress!! The management have always solved any issues quickly and we are happy to continue our visits

This is a super pub for watching football. The TVs are good and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Dropped by one evening to learn more about the quiz evening happening at that time. Decided to hang about and eat from the all day menu - service and plates for sharing were excellent. Although we did not take part in the quiz night that evening will definitely be back when we can pull together additional brain power. Good range of f&b options (meat and vegetarian selections) reasonably priced, plenty of tables and seating for couples or groups.

Nice restaurant, good food. You can easily spend a while there. At the weekend there is still a small dance area upstairs.

We went in for a drink only and bumped into a friend. We were then joined by another friend and were having drinks. About 2245hrs we were very abruptly told to drink up or they would take our drinks from us, as last orders had been called earlier. we had been provided a round about 2230hrs and were the only people left. Their stated opening hours say closing at 2300hrs. Perhaps a little better communication from the 'apparently senior staff member' may have prevented our leaving feeling so disgruntled and demonstrated they understand the meaning of hospitality. The result was one of our group stating they would not return. Communication is everything

Great evening was the spoilt at the end .We were told last orders at 10.45pm then approached very rudely at 10.50pm by a member of staff & told to drink up & get out. The then staff member lied saying we had been told last orders at 10.15pm which was untrue as we ordered a round of drinks at around 10.25 & was told nothing about last orders. My server was Ella who was very good & had nothing to do with the end of evening experience. Very poor customer service from the senior member of staff! She really needs to learn some customer skills! I do not appreciate members of staff intimidating customers under any circumstances.

Mysigt ställe med massa trevlig öl och god mat. Även hundar är välkomna, till en viss del av puben. Jättegod mat, och bra vegetariska alternativ. Man kan välja bland smårätter om man inte är så hungrig. Väldigt trevlig personal!!!!

However, today's was exceptional and the staff in The Granary can be rightly proud of the service they provide. As soon as we walked in the door, we had a warm welcome from Lisa who showed us to the very comfy seating. My wife had Hunters Chicken and I had the Bellhaven Steak Pie. Neither of us could fault either the food or the service. Initially, I was doubtful as to whether or not I could finish what was a very generous helping. However, not a morsel was left! The pie was very well filled with the most tender and lean pieces of steak and the flaky pastry on the pie was delicious. My wife's chicken was equally well enjoyed and we shared a bowl of onion rings as a side dish. The chef's name was Keith and our lovely waitress was Lisa. We will be back!

Went for the roast dinner unfortunately no ingredients had been delivered, so no roast dinner, but there was no notification on the door to inform you of this. Happened to visit when Celtic was playing Falkirk not our sort of establishment.

Super nice pub. Service is pretty on point. Friendly and hardworking Food is reasonably priced. Very tasty and varied. We'd love to come back!

The food here is brilliant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They always make a fuss of my wee one which just makes his day. Locals are friendly too. Highly recommend to anyone.

We were up here on holiday and were having a wander about town when we found this cool place.At first we thought it was quite small,but on further inspection we discovered the upstairs seating which had a cool vibe to it.The downstairs decor was bright,vibrant and very warm and welcoming as was the barstaff that greeted us as we entered,which made us feel welcome.This was a lovely place.We didn't eat on this occasion as the food stopped a little early,but what we saw looked lovely.Will definitely pay it another vist.

Had been for an explore around Elgin and stopped for a drink. Staff were friendly, and there was a variety of drinks to choose from. Bar and seating was clean and not too busy.

Lovely food, but I struggle to pick something I want from the menu. We ended up seating ourselves, even though a sign at the entrance says to wait to be seated. We hung around like eejits while others came in and just chose a seat, so we did too! Nice decor as recently refurbished. Busy on a Wed evening. Only just managed to get a table for 2 around 5pm. Maybe worth booking.

Music a bit too loud for it being dinner time. Not impressed that the pizza my child was served was just a Chicago Town microwave pizza. Staff running about like headless chickens and could do with assigned areas so that 5 different servers don't all one after the other come to ask if we need to order or if everything is fine. Rest of the food was good, just could be a bit hotter

Dog friendly. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable.

Really bad food, got the sharing platter for two people and it was tiny. Staff said it was average portion size but it was 4 chicken strips that were thinner than my pinky and overpriced. Toilets are messy and not clean, nearly 150 pounds for food that would just about feed two.

It's £6 for a pint. London prices. The barman spilled the pint and didn't top it up. I took my glass back to the bar when finished and said thanks In front of 3 staff and was completely ignored. Maybe they hate English people! Go to the wetherspoons instead. . Inside has nice decor lots of TVs.

Popped in for a breakfast whilst waiting for a train, excellent value.

Came for a quick bite and decided to order the Chicken and leek pie and the Beef pie although the specials for the night for 2 mains for a great price. The pies hit the spot! Service was basic but not unfriendly.

Waiting 20 mins because it said to wait to be seated but turns out you just sit down. Disorganized. Ignored by employees. Had to ask to order. Ordered the food, didn’t get what I had asked for, asked the food deliverer and she was rude and short. So went up to the bar to ask about it. Safe to say, I won’t be back and recommend everyone to stay away.

Had a reduced menu no grill or fryer. Portions were tiny. Still hungry when we left .🤮

We visited this pub on a weekend, and it's always a bustling, happening place. There were screens for watching football matches. We tried their beer, which was excellent. We also tried their Hunter's chicken, which included fries, onion rings, chicken, and salad - it was a perfect meal. We enjoyed the weekend to the fullest.
