What a special spot to sit and drink in the beauty of the River Tummel, the Pitlochery Dam and the “Wobbly” bridge. Mercedes was always delightful and the cakes were yummy. Have a beer or a glass of wine and just enjoy the rare air in this part of the Highlands!

Tourist trap We stopped for a drink here after a walk round the dam , 2 pints ,one small wine and a soft drink £27.40 or £29.40 ,more expensive than the exclusive Dalmahoy country club in Edinburgh .they are obviously cashing in on tourists who are passing through Pitlochry and wont be coming back , Greedy owners ill never stop there again

Very nice place visually. Staff nice but... waited over an hour for two fish and chips, had to go and ask how long it will be after 50 min, I think they just forgot about my order. Also service charge added to bill? I had to go inside and get my menu, go back outside to read it, go back inside to order, take my own cutlery on my way back. Not to mention took 25 min to order anyway and had to go ask for my food.... Almost missed my train. Food was ok very hot but already was in a bad mood and didn't quite enjoyed it. The service charge just made it even worse since they only took my order which took them a minute not sure why I'm paying for service then. Ive found this info on one of the older review ''' The restaurant is one thing and eating outside is other. But you need to make sure you understand their system first which they don’t explain very well. Inside you have the complete service but if you eat outside you have to order everything in the bar and is almost self serviced.''' Why the service charge then???

Really has gone down hill since last year outside very poor and uninviting, dirty and needing a lot of tlc to bringt up to the standards it used to have. It would not take a lot,a few live plants instead of dead ones, clean high chairs for children instead of dirty ones which harbour germs . Come on make it inviting for visitors instead of giving the impression we are a dirty nation.

Lovely place to sit and take in the river views. This is the second time we have stopped off at this bar. The last time we ordered 2x Prosecco glasses which came with a strawberry on each and the bill came to £22.We thought we try again and see what they would charge a year later. Well incredibly £24 and with no strawberry this time. Surely this must the dearest 2glasses of Prosecco in Scotland 🤣

Visited on beautiful sunny afternoon and sat out in beer garden beside the river with lovely views both up and down the river. Beer garden tables were well spaced and tidy.
