Very late and the large chips were not very large, usually great but not tonight!

I ordered for 7 pm and it claimed to have arrived yet did not arrive until 30 mins later.

Wrong juice delivered, fish was very soggy and a tiny splash of saucy in them. The batter on the half pizza was like mush same with the haggis very disappointing for the money paid

Tony, Unsure what has gone wrong. Bag charge 50p arrived without bag. Service charge 50p the law on this was changed in 2017 delivery fee £3.00 so + £4.00 …......... food well not what it used to be.

over 30mins late and the batter ony fish was not crispy at all, it was very soggy.

Donner meat was cold, greasy and tasted like it had been sat for a day or 2. Asked for mozzarella on chips and cheese, this was totally ignored. Paid for tub of sauce that I never got. Used to really like this place but has gone really downhill

best chippy in years. I'll make a point of coming back to Fife again just for the food

Absolutely 100% happy with my pizza. Was still hot, tasty and the stuff crust gave me the feels. Would recommend a thousand times over :)

Both of us found the fish to be tender, with gentle flavour, and tasty batter. We're regulars and will remain so. Ta.David

The pizzas are decent but delivery is a joke! 52 mins late tonight. Never once had an on time delivery from this place

order was delivered to wrong house and was cold buy the time my neighbour found the right house that ordered the food, must have been new driver as never happened before

The food from here is normally excellent but I couldn’t even eat my chips this time. I think they must need to change their oil as the chips were all brown at the edges and tasted burnt. Now I love chips and would eat them even if they were bad but I just can’t stomach the burnt taste. The sausage was good and nicely crispy.

Chips and cheese are very expensive and the cheese has no taste, cheap rubbery cheese. The sfogliatelle was disgusting it tasted like it had been fried in chip oil. Tastes nothing like an Italian one

Ordered updated to on the way. Was on the way for 45 mins, by the time the food got here it was cold. Chips stale. Won’t be back in a hurry!

Food was a little late. Not a huge deal more annoying the app showed it as being delivered when it hadn’t been. Special fish was nice but fillets seemed thinner than in the past.

food took just short of 2 hours to deliver , wasnt overly hot and got a kebab but it was just meat on a nan bread

Disappointed, food delivered an hour late. 1x meal ordered wasn't eaten as the intended recipient was no longer here due to the 1 hour delay. Requested money back from vendor declined. Very very poor, paid £6 for absolutely nothing. Not to mention the absolute joke of an hour delay! & 2 hours 10 mins to fulfil the order

Called the restaurant 1 hour after the stated delivery time. We were informed that our order slip had not printed and they would prepare the food right away. It did arrive 30mins later, which was appreciated. But, I feel that after such an error, some kind of gift or remuneration should have been offered.

There was not a lot of filling on the baked potato. Very disappointing

Doesn’t even deserve a quarter of a star that’s my final order from dalgety bay! Last couple of deliveries have been really poor and we have been loyal customers for quite some time. On this occasion had to call as delivery was over an hour and a half late, was told like always “it’s just left” …… yea just left but cooked over an hour ago not even luke warm upon delivery, never ordering again feels like the place is going way down hill

Fish Suppers are always really good from here, can’t complain about the quality of food and it’s my favourite chippy in the area. The delivery times are an absolute joke though it says (25-60 minutes) before you order once you actually order it, the delivery time increases to about 1-2 hours

This was the worst food we have had from here, 2hrs from first call we were told 40 mins we called after 1hr 10 mins and were told order was on its way but did not turn up for another 50mins. Portions were a lot smaller than every other time we have ordered and it looked as if the food had been thrown at the bag, also for som reason at lot greasier than normal not what you would expect after spending £35 on food And to top it all of when I called to see where the food was the attitude that I got from the staff was pathetic. Will not recommend again and will not order again.

Used to be a brilliant chippy but that’s two in a row now I have had and both been awful. The hamburger I had was dry and cremated and then the fish was tiny and chips weren’t of the same Quailty as before. Portion sizes in general down at least 25 percent.

Delivery driver was lovely :) pizza was incredible! The baked potatoes where nice and fluffy it’s just a shame the salad is rationed and pretty sad looking these days tasted fine but used to have more in it than cabbage lettuce and onion. Still everyone enjoyed dinner and I do recommend x

always use them but the last few orders have got longer than expected delivery n not getting as much for my money so will be looking for somewhere else to try , wont let me change how late it was but this time was just short of 2 hours from ordering to delivery

Every delivery I have ever had takes at least and hour and a half. Ridiculous. They only send it out once you phone and complain

Food cold and chips were not fresh

Said items where ready to be collected.. arrived to pick up items and had to wait an extra ten minutes.. they hadn't even cooked our order. Fish was stuck to paper leaving us no batter on the fish. Disappointing

Kids meal was missing chips and the juice. The baked potato beans looked like they had been cooked a while before and the salad was some cabbage and red onion last time had cucumbers and tomato etc so just depends on who makes it. After ordering cause I was starving and looking forward to a take away, was disappointed. Positive is it arrived 15 mins early and the driver was lovely

Food was incredibly late and it was only alright which is disappointing since I've been going here my whole life, and I asked for some money back due to the delay, about half an hour after the food eventually arriving, I get an automated text from JustEat saying The restaurant isn't going to give you any money back for your delayed order. They say: "We're really sorry your order wasn't delivered on time. We gave you something from the menu free of charge to make up for it." I never got anything extra, only got the food I ordered (eventually). Why send that if you're not actually going to give me anything back for the delay? Never getting delivery from here ever again, better to just collect or order at the place.

Estimated delivery time was roughly an hour to an hour and 25 minutes after ordering and it was still 20 minutes late on top of this.

Total rubbish, burger was flung together and disgusting, terribly presented deluxe fillet burger? No chance. The chips and cheese was minging the cheese was like rubber. Couldn’t eat it

Ordered a cheese burger and got just a battered burger with no roll and ordered doner burger with no salad and it came with spicy onions plus the doner meat wasn't even on the burger

Never had an order on time! Pizzas are nice but 45 mins after latest delivery time - no apology is a disgrace. No reply to an ask for an update either. Totally shambolic. Food is decent but good Luck getting it!

The chicken in the mixed kebab was like cat food, not what I expected 🤢 I don't mean to downcry the place as it's really good for fish n chips etc, I just wouldn't order the mixed king kebab again🤷‍♂️ sorry if I've offended but not intentional, just being honest!

Fish bar in the middle of a housing estate selling very good fish. Fresh, moist and tasty. Chips a bit ordinary. Place was spotless, huge variety of food including what looked like delicious Italian filled pastries.

Phne to say my just eat order was 45 minutes ago they said was still at the shop it's been well over 1hr 30 minutes aye still don't have it don't think will order again frome hear

Food was delivered 20mins later than the time window, which isn't major but the chips etc were cold, they actually needed reheating in the microwave, this isn't the first time this has happened, I think I'll be looking elsewhere for my deliveries in future.

Food was rotten. Couldn’t eat it. Chicken kebab don’t know what it was but it wasn’t chicken tiny wee brown bits or meat all soggy. Was meant to collected for 18:25 my partner was still waiting at 18:54. Customers had came in been served and left again. Not acceptable and wouldn’t recommend

Unfortunately this is the first time I’ve been really disappointed with my order from here. Food ordered at 6pm and had to call twice to find out what was happening and it arrived almost 2 hours late and only warm. This is my go-to chippy, i love the food but tonight was a fail.

I’m really disappointed. It took 2 hours for a kebab and supper to be delivered on a Sunday evening (ordered back of 7pm). Received a message about 30 minutes after ordering saying that the driver was on their way. 40 minutes later nothing had arrived and so I phoned to check. I was advised that the order hadn’t even left the shop and was still waiting to be made up. The person I spoke to on the phone basically blamed the Just Eat system for giving unrealistic time frames which I can appreciate however frustrating that we thought it was on the way when it wasn’t. When it finally arrived the kebab was lukewarm so I think that had been ready much longer than the supper which was fresh and hot. Unlikely to order from here again.

Another cold delivery… the quality of the food is usually really good but the last two deliveries have now been late and cold. Disappointed as they are the best fish and chips around

They apparently just say the food has left on the app "to make it easier" didn't arrive until 50 minutes after it supposedly left, which was 45 late. Most food was ok. Pepperoni on kids pizza was far too spicy, actually hot. Fish was average, lacked much flavour, curry sauce too watery. Delivery very slow and they don't use the app properly for some reason.

Firstly the pizza was really good!! Almost like it was fresh from Italy..which is where I’m assuming they made and delivered it from because jeez it was LATE!!! I mean there is late and then late..well this was later!! So to summarise..good but late.

Food quality was fine but bottle of juice wasn’t delivered. Obtained a refund for this from JustEat with no issues. Delivery time was excessive. Got a notification on the app saying “driver on the way” with the takeaway being approximately 1 mile and a 3 minute drive from my house. Order arrived about 30 mins later.
