I got sausage supper out there i could count the chips, terrible portin my wife says its the worst food she has ever had also very expensive for rubbish quality avoid if i could give it 0/5 i would have very very bad...

Went for a red pudding supper when I got it home the chips must have been reheated a few times and the red pudding turned out to be white pudding avoid this poor chippy

I don’t have a fish tea very often, mainly due to the quality being a bit poor, including quite a well known one in Anstruther, however, this restaurant was recommended by a family member so I thought I would give it a try. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious, nice and fresh and a good size portion. I will certainly visit again and would highly recommend.

It was very intimidating to go into as there was a massive queue of people waiting to go into a nightclub right next to the shop, and as i am not familiar with that area it felt unnerving.

La padella need to start using plastic sheeting or greaseproof paper on top of their suppers! Half the batter sticks to the paper when opened

Asked for Kebab with Salad - no sauce but ended up with a Kebab with Sauce and hardly any Salad. Phoned to complain but would've been better speaking to a wall. Phoned again and said I was bringing it back. Got a replacement with a lot of hard Cabbage in it - No Onions and definitely no apology. Won't be going back as not paying that price for mediocre food.

Fish dry and tasteless. Chips had weird oil flavour. Not the same as before. Red pudding good.

Probably the worst food I have had during my visit to Glenrothes, only positive was, wait, don't have one. Orderd king kebab didn't come with the all the sauces according to the menu. Should have been served on a naan bread, unsure of the nature of the bread but convinced it does not know where India is. The donner was of particular poor quality tasting loosely of carpet with hints of plastic. The quarter pounder burger..... Being hungry is more pleasant, looked like a micro burger with the flavour of a lamppost. Chips were OK I thought but no one else like the chips. The haddock was gopping, avoid if you like haddock, fish or food in general.

Nice chippy. What more can I say. Its my favourite chippy right now.

Definitely won't be back , batter on fish raw inside and like rubber , white pudding was tasteless and also batter like rubber,chips were hard, waste of money

Since bring bought over everything has went downhill. I have given them a chance but I will no longer be using this shop. The prices have went up & quality down. The batter is tasteless & chewy not crispy. The pizzas are no longer good, flavourless & doughy. The girls that work in the shop are lovely but the delivery drivers are idiots! They stand at my gate not saying anything & expect someone to appear magically all because I have two Labradors, one is a puppy! Today one did speak but only to be rude to my daughter telling her to hurry up with the dogs. Why have delivery drivers that are scared of dogs! Altogether an awful chippy!

Awful, anaemic, waxy, barely cooked chips and tasteless batter - Don't waste your money!

We had the best chippy from here today. I ordered 2 chip steaks and a single fish. Not greasy, crispy and fresh and there was 2 bits of fish. This did come to just over £19. 10 out of 10. What ever you are doing keep doing, as it is way better than before.

Delivery took 1 hour 50 mins and food was cold

Asked if they could do a curry batterd roll and did thanks you very much just needed a little more curry inside but spot on .

My wife and myself always loved going here when shopping in Glenrothes, friendly and didn't have to wait long, loved the black puddings, big, not dry inside and a bit of a spicy taste, fish good in fact everything we got was good, 1st time we went with the new owners pudding was dry and batter hard and chips not great, tried it again, same thing, sadly haven't been back, maybe just went at the wrong time,

Been going to this chippy for years. Change of ownership really not for the better. Very hit and miss. Things being overcooked, steak pie not what it was, chips very small compared to before. Never had an issue with the staff always friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately someone needs trained on etiquette because a Blaggis is not a haggis and black pudding put in one order because they couldn’t be bothered cutting them in half! Only use this chippy as it’s local and convenient for us.

Was always great, don’t know if there has been a change in ownership as staff aren’t the originals… So it starts with the price hike due to potato costs, notice states this will return to normal when the new crop comes in but apparently the great potato famine continues. But the main gripe was last night’s sudden cut in portion size! A lot lot less chips and it now seems the usual half smoked sausage seems like one third. The battered jumbo’s seem the same as before. Chips also seemed very very greasy. Will give it another go but if this is the new norm our very long love affair is over!

Was missing a Spaghetti Bolognese from my order, I called restaurant and was argued with that they definitely put it in the bag. I told them it definitely wasnt here, they asked if I wanted it today or on my next order, I said today obviously. Was told it would be sent asap. An hour passed, so I called again and was told it was about to go out with the driver and that would be about 20 mins. I said if it wasnt here by then I'm coming to the shop to pick one up. Was told that would probably be quicker, so I said I want a refund and a Bolognese. TLDR: Missing item from order, was basically called a liar, waited over an hour to eventually have to go pick it up myself, and didnt end up eating it because it tasted rubbish anyways. Awful Customer Service. Won't order from here again. Plenty more Fish (and Chip shops) in the sea.

Ordered haddock and chips and blaghas and chips chips fine, fish ok, blaghas ok batter on both not nice hard and chewy called spoke to manager who did not seem to be concerned

Ordered fish in breadcrumbs supper and hamburger supper chips were rubbish and luke warm only 1 fish when other chippy give you 2 and the hamburgers were horrible never go back there would not recommend to anyone

2 fish suppers cost £19.40, fish tasted old, wish I'd gone somewhere else instead.

On this occasion very very poor. Ordered a mixed kebab which had clearly been reheated in microwave through the back. There was no indication of kebab cooking going on through the front at the counter. Was lukewarm, chewy and just downright rotten. Chips were gritty which was rather odd. Why offer this on your menu if its not done properly? Stick to traditional chippy stuff and pizza. On the plus side staff are nice enough but wont be enough to see me ever going back. Plenty of chippies in the area to choose from but this one has gone right downhill in my estimation. Whoever thinks its a good idea to microwave donner meat/tikka chicken and still manage to serve it cold needs their jotters. Very poor stuff from what use to be a decent chippie.

LaPadella tends to be our go to chippy in Glenrothes. However we were really disappointed with the half battered pizza on this order. It seemed to just be a pizza base, no sauce or cheese and totally flavourless which is really disappointing. I only gave three stars as the rest of the order was ok.

One of the worst chippy ive ever been to, batter was tasteless and greasy, engine oil would have tasted better, avoid this place like the plague.

I was disappointed with this order which I've never been before. The chips were cold and the 2 pots of curry sauce was also cold. The fish batter wasn't crispy at all. On the plus side it was delivered early which was good.

Only reason I keep going here is coz I like the food it’s the delivery time keeps letting it down almost 2 hours for a battered pizza and some chicken and it’s not as if I’m far away. Even when I put request times in it will still come late

We ordered regularly before the quality went downhill, tried again. Food seems to have improved again. Delivery time was disappointing though (around 20-25 minutes after Just Eat told us to 'Enjoy our food' lol)

Food ordered 1645 and came 1h 30 m later shouldn’t take an hour and a half to fry a pizza and some chicken and get someone to drop it off, if delivery’s are taking so long hire another driver

Prices up with no notification of what they are. Chips up 50% but tiny portion, when asked about the difference in advertised price and what I've been charged all I got was a shrug of the shoulders.

Not usual quality of food, tasted like reheats and Chips were a bit tough and crispy. Also left out my lilt tin and were very offhand when called.

Delicious food as always and my auld man cat (14) loves his single fish. Chips could've been hotter as they were luke warm but edible. I will be ordering again and would deffo recommend this chippy. 😍

Got fish supper £9.70 which had one bit of fish . Sausage supper.£6.30 . Never had prices on menu just a notice saying prices were up. Food was terrible and hardly any of it. Don’t mind paying these prices in anstruther but not from here. Won’t be back

Quite dissapointed as used lapadella for years. However last night Food was delived in plastic bag. So if the batter or chips were crunchy, by the time it was delivered which was on time and delivery driver very nice. The food was sweating and soggy with condensation by the time it arrived. The paper around the biodegradable boxes was soaking. In future. Use paper bags instead of cheap budget 1p bags. Would much rather have a increased charge for a paper bag and have decent food like it used to be.

While the food is really good, it’s the estimated delivery times that let it down. The drivers are usually on time with the times given but the times given on just eat are usually from 1 hour to 1hour 30 from the time of ordering making me starving by the time the food comes. The takeaway need to address this by maybe hiring another driver to get orders out sooner??

Even tho the order came in the allotted time I still had to wait 1h15m on my food. Majority of places some of which are further can deliver in less than an hour. But I still think the food is decent

The food was alright but i didn’t get any sauce even thougj i orderd sauce.

Pizza was delicious. Mushrooms were tasty. But as for the jumbo sausages....They must've been bought from the same place as your smoked sausages as they were orgasmic!

Pizza frozen in middle, fish was dry and batter was soggy. Curry sauce was cold. Smoked sausage was like it came from a joke shop! Worst experience from a chippy we have ever had.

Food was ordered at 17:30 and didn't arrive until 19:15, which was 20 late going by the estimated delivery time. Food was delicious but not piping hot, would order again but probably would collect instead of getting a delivery

Prices up, portions downsized. Staff were not giving great service - not even eye contact and clearly some problem behind the counter that was causing the attitude problem. Not my business and shouldnt be my problem either. Smoked sausage was poor quality and chips when you got a whole one were good but felt like a box of scraps. Home made bottles of brown sauce are very very questionable. Won't be back despite being very convenient.

My service was outstanding, took 1.23 mins to come out and the atmosphere was so preppy and was just delicious. So happy I went.

Waited 1hr40mins for a box of chips and bottle of juice. Amount of chips in the large box has massively decreased - used to get load and now it was just a single layer. Disappointing from a chippy I’ve loved for years!

My partner and I ordered our dinner from here tonight. We ordered fritters, a sausage supper and a king rib supper. We ordered by phone and were told it would be ready within 20 minutes, Which it was. Got home and was very disappointed with the food. The batter was rubbery and tough. There was no crisp at all. I have used this chip shop for a while but this has left me with a rubbery taste in my mouth.

Food as always was perfect. Arrived at the time it said it would arrive, only downside was 1 hour 10 min wait but as I said it was clearly stated when it would arrive and it arrived on time.

Fish and chips were delicious and hot loved the wee touch of lemon with my breaded haddok only 1 wee moan my pickled onions were forgotten lol but still very good .

Not impressed called takeaway first time told there were busy so our meals would be another 15 to 20 minutes from the projected delivery time. Few minutes, after my call I receive ta texted say our order is on its way. 31 minutes later I call the take away again, young lass did enquire and told me our order had only left 5 minutes before and the message was sent in error. I was assured the food would be hot. . Well our meals did arrive a few minutes later and they were cool it was very evident our order had been with the delivery driver for sometime and hadn't left the shop 5 minutes before will not be using this takeaways delivery service again.

Delivered 45 mins late. Food cold. Who wants to eat dinner at 20.30?????? Night ruined. Cheers, sons crying
