Ordered small kebab, arrived quickly which was good however the food was barely warm, a let down for me.

Ordered fish supper as close to where we were staying. Absolutely the best fish and chips, with mushy peas and curry, I've ever had..great value, shared between two, generous portions. Would highly recommend and if we ever visit the area again we would definitely come here for the best fish supper! No pics as we hoovered it up 😋

Outstanding food. Haggis and chips were plentiful and tasty. Fried pizza crispy and tasty chips. Fast delivery.

Editing my previous negative review - the old fat smell is gone. The food I had was really good, portion was very generous and the price was quite reasonable. I would now recommend this place, and it's now easily the best chippy in Rosyth

Chips are cooked longer so they’re crispier than most other chip shops which is great. Nice food.

First time order. Was great quality and quick delivery will definitely order again.

I went to this Fish Bar for the first time on the recommendation of one of my customers..he told me "great place and the fish is cooked fresh to order" well when I ordered asking if can get fresh fish i didn't expect the attitude of what I believe was the manager saying that the fish that was in the heated area was fresh and hadn't been laying longer than 10 mins...so again I asked for fresh as to me that ain't fresh if lying in the kept hot bit 🤔 afterall I'm paying for it so didn't see a problem but obviously he did! Anyway after a lecture on how much fish he sells in a day and how busy they are.. and yeah I get that maybe they are with deliveries etc but when I was ordering I was only one in shop! Eventually after some huffing around from the guy I got my fresh fish and tbh was nice.. nought spectacular but after the attitude I got best fish bar or not I certainly won't be back! Maybe he was having a bad day but jeez don't take it out on your customers..

Have ordered from here many times.. each and every time my sauce is missing which is 80p a time.

Just had a delivery and everything we ordered was brilliant. 5 stars and I would give 10 if I could. Thank you guys for a fabulous service!

First time trying here from a recommendation. Definitely won't be back. We obviously had to wait while our 'freshly cooked' food was reheated. The batter was soft and the end of the sausage was rock hard. The batter on the Haggis was inedible. Waste of money.

got the best donner calzone EVER came with free salad sweet chilli & vinaigrette dips, also got a small chilli chips and 2 cans of juice, only came to £19 (including delivery) staff are lovely & delivery very fast!! also a huge thank you to the young lassie around my age who delivered my order u were amazing & i loved ur hair🤞

Food generally good, service every time I go is not good. Delays too long even when food is pre ordered. Some counter staff do need to learn some manners too.

My first choice chippy the fish is great pizzas also very good.

Great food but last three times food has taken over 2hrs to arrive for delivery....never seems to improve...time to find another takeaway sadly as food is excellent. Phoned each time to complain and yet never even apologised...shame.

Food came with no chilli sauce, waited another hour ontop of the previous hour waiting just for sauce, food is ice cold now, donner meat is over cooked, dry and very chewy

Ordered a chicken wrap and a pizza supper last night through Dunfermline eats. The food came a bit earlier than indicated. Both the pizza supper and the chicken wrap were stone cold. Won’t be rushing back any time soon

Home delivery, compared to what it was, absolutely tasteless,, asked for garlic sauce, not received,, tolal waste of money, most went in bin,, 😢 😢

Always a banging meal!!!! Only delivered late once (2hrs late I might add) but has never happened again and would definitely recommend.

Food was great. Staff were great. What let it down was the older man that in the half hour or so i was there he never once changed or washed his gloves between touching raw chicken, preparing pizzas and touching cooked fried food. (The gloves still had the same batter on it in all the time) Everyone else had their areas apart from him. Cross contamination at its biggest.. raw food and cooked food. Gloves should either be washed/sanitised or changed between touching or changing new areas and also money handling.

Couldn't be bothered cooking tonight,so decided to go here for 2 fish suppers. The fish was lovely the chips were disappointing. They were all crumbs and hard and greasy

Good food, quick service, doner wrap is awesome, spicy haggis also really good. They also chuck a few chips in with the haggis without getting the supper, great!

Was in the shop for collection , had to wait almost 40 minute for 3 item . Been ignored the whole time even got the order wrong for pizza . No such thing as customer Sevice . But very quick enough for taking in the order . Just imagine on your way home spending 40 minute in takeaway stuck there for collection on MONDAY 7pm !!! Wouldn’t order or get any food from them again !

the ventilation is not working, your clothes may smell fishy the boss is constantly yelling at his staff pizzas are very bad

If you get a fish supper be aware it may well be enough to feed 2. I normally now ask for fewer chips as I can never eat them all. Good food and always good service

I ordered an hamburger supper (that is an hamburger and chips). The hamburgers were delicious but the chips were like sharp stones and not soft as I like them.

Usually quite good haven't ordered in a while but the donner meat is vile, chilli sauce is supposed to taste like chilli sauce not ketchup, no taste or spice

Amazing food and very friendly staff

I'm not from Rosyth but decided to try the place out as my favourite chippy is closed on Wednesdays. I ordered a large fish supper, which I waited about 20 mins for. The place was pretty busy with delivery orders, and I'm happy to wait for cooked to order items. I have noticed that more and more people these days have got complacent with food delivery's after 3 years of covid restrictions were put in place. This puts more strain on the staff, and mistakes are unavoidable from time to time, as well as long waits. My fish supper was a good size, the chips were ample and tasty. It's definitely a shop I'd use again, and next time, I'll be ordering one of their wraps as I saw one being made, which made my mouth water.

Placed an order for delivery, after 1 hour had to phone to see where the delivery was, was told it was leaving the shop, after 35 minutes and still no delivery. Phoned back and told them not deliver. Total joke, used them for years as they were so good, time to look for somewhere else that actually cares about their loyal customers.

Decent food and big portions but they really need to get the ventilation sorted. You feel like you smell of a chippy when you leave the place

Great food and chips galore,friendly staff ,only negative is that they need to open a small window to allow some ventilation as the shop can be a bit smokey due to the fryers especially when it's very busy .

Order was 1.5hrs late, chicken pakora was poor batter like eating old leather, chicken dry and chewy, only good thing was the mixed calzone. Won't be ordering again! Alot of money spent on rubbish

I turned up after 10pm and the staff were likely tired but served me probably the best fish supper I've ever had. Can't fault it.

Best takeaway in the world but be warned hope you are hungry as the portions are huge Enough to feed a Army plus their reserves and superb outstanding friendly staff I cannot highly recommend enough ! Xxx

The best chippy in Fife, in my opinion. The sausage supper is always perfection. Very decent portion sizes. Never disappoints.

Got a takeaway while we stayed with family. Used the website to order online, easy to use. Chose ASAP delivery which suggested 40 minute wait. Called after an hour wait and they explained that they were very busy and the delivery would be leaving with the next driver to return to shop. Was worried it wouldn't be warm when it arrived but was pleasantly surprised as it was piping hot.

Enjoyed my food from here. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, busy so popular which is good sign. Lots of choice on then menu aswell. Food was good lovely fish, would visit again.

Pizza dough was thick and undercooked. Felt like eating a soggy loaf of bread. Felt disgusting eating it. Got the french fries and they were alright. Took over an hour for a half cooked lump of dough and some toppings.

Everytime over last month i ask for delivery it gets cancelled through just eat so can't recommend anymore , I had to go elsewhere for delivery

Have been going here on and off for the past few years. Always been a little hit and miss but tonight was the first time back in a while (and appears under new ownership) Food was amazing. By far the best fish and chips I've had.. Service was fantastic. The amount of food was unreal. A fish supper and a donner wrap served 3 of us with half a wrap left over for someone's lunch tomorrow. Cannot rate highly enough! (Cannot work out how my sons have changed my name to Vortex Hydra) Keep up the great work! Deborah

Best chipper in Rosyth in my humble opinion.

Food was fine but...ordered online for collection which was advertised as 20 minutes. Went there 20 minutes later and asked for my order. At that point the ticket was handed to the cook! What's that all about? I then sat there waiting for 25 minutes!!!

Got to be the worst chippy ever swimming in grease and black pudding was not cooked properly. Don't know what happened to old staff down hill since then. Fish supper now get 1 half now instead of 2 fish

ordered tonight waited fifty mins to as where delivery was she said n i quote its left shop ten mins later no you cancelled it so y would i check up on a delivery that id cancelled bad customer service id say poor but it really doesnt cut how bad it was

My go too in Rosyth, not had a bad experience in there but they don't have much competition in Rosyth the others are terrible!

Really disappointed with the service provided on Sunday. Received delivery to find ice cream was missing, the driver only spoke enough English to ask ME for the money that he should have been refunding me. The fish bar called me after the delivery to say item was out of stock and that a driver would drop off the money. The original driver came back asking for the money from me again, this time with a woman who argued with me in another language. I phoned the restaurant again and they said it must be a language barrier and that another driver would drop off my refund. I'm still waiting.

Just had a home delivery. Usually have delicious food from here but tonight the mince pie supper and hamburger supper was over cooked and so crispy wasn't able to eat it. The chips were not fully cooked and onion rings were so crispy we had to leave them. So disappointed as we were really looking forward to it. Normally don't get delivery so not sure if food had been sitting for a while. Probably won't go back.
