The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

We dine here at least once a month even though we live an hour away & can not fault anything. Totally shocked arrived on Wednesday to a sign saying Permanently Closed and gentleman changing locks. At the time nothing on web site saying they were closed.

Can't ask for much more in a local. Cheap pints, sports and atmosphere

Unfortunately the service today was poor. Had to wait a while just for someone to come and take us to our table. Then a long wait for someone to come to take our order. An hour after we arrived we finally got our food. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal. This has been the worse delay that I have had to suffer.

Never had something so greasy as what I had today swimming in pools of it fish was almost black most definitely old dirty oil

Come here regularly, for breakfast, lunch, evening meal. Staff are always very welcoming, never had a problem with food.

We went to Looe on a photoshoot , my wife is an artist , we were passing by Catch fish and chips 🍟 and decided to share a portion . Oh my days it was lush , the fish was huge and the chips were perfect . 10/10

So Oscars fish bar charged hands about 1 years ago and now has blackfen pizza and chicken on the same location. The chicken is ok! Wings have a nice kick and chicken thigh was tasty but I got a bag of chips from the fish & chip side. Thinking they was freshly vooked as told it'll take a couple of minutes. Only to discover after getting home they were old cooked chips warmed up and cooked again! They were absolutely disgusting, dry with no taste whatsoever. Lot better options in the area

Fantastic dinner here. The food was amazing and the service friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday dinner here. The waitress was brilliant. The atmosphere was relaxed. There were plenty of options for vegetarian or vegan alternatives.

Definitely a favourite of ours. GeeWhites serves delicious freshly prepared food right on the seafront - personal favourites include the chicken burger, fish & chips and beef burger 😋 They have stunning views of Swanage bay and a good selection of seating space, it’s a great spot to relax and watch the world go by - especially with a hot chocolate with “all the goodies” in hand! We find them very reasonably priced and staff always provide great customer service, even during extremely busy times. Would definitely recommend :)

Great taste and portion size, quick service and good outside covered seating area as well. Can order in store or online or on touch pads inside.

Excellent fish... really flaky with light and crispy batter, very good crispy chips, and liked their mushy peas. Service was pleasant and seemed well organised. Tasted even better by the sea. Whilst it wasn't cheap, the portions were huge, and although only had small of each, we could have probably shared a portion of chips and peas between two of us. Would happily return.

Brilliant location and building. The guy running it was amazing. Good and drinks excellent- we had pizzas - which were really good. His family members were helping and that added to a great atmosphere. Just great.

What a team you guys, from the second you enter till you leave you are made to feel welcome! Julie and Stacey looked after us well at the table, Sean made some amazing cocktails and Emma and Jake sent out the most delicious food! We will be back!
