The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Always great food, staff are excellent, fish cooked to order and always mountains of chips, there kebab in a nann bread is amazing, excellent value meal deals and lovely fruity curry. Barry's Catch is the only Chippy in Barry I use, as Tina Turner once sang............. it's simply the best

New owners fish is good but chips not as good as before

Extremely disappointing. The fish was the skinniest piece imaginable. Probably safe to say it was 75% batter. Both of us had the same and not kidding there is more fish in a decent fish finger. Shame as was so looking forward to a traditional fish and chip supper.

Lad at the front was super friendly. Fish and chips and battered sausage were nice. Lovely park right next to it, brilliant if you've got a blanket and a nice day

I’m not a huge fish and chip fan but apparently my week in Whitby meant I had to have it twice. Mr chips is the nicest fish and chips I’ve ever had. I really enjoyed it and it’s much cheaper than others nearby.

Disappointing portion sizes, sunglasses for size reference. Priced at £4 too for this amount of food is really unimpressive.

Walked in, ordered large cod and chips, told cash only, left and went elsewhere.

This place deserves a Michelin Star. Fantastic dinner and desert. Would highly recommend this place for a fish supper.

Lovely food, staff very friendly, clean chip shop

It's a shame about the original Bob Carver's. It just needs doing up exactly like it. Then reopening again. But the patties from the other one are lovely. Batter and breaded.

I Feel the fish isn't as nice as in the past never really thought much of the chips but always thought the fish was so good ,really hard to find quality fish and chips these days

The food here is delicious! Good portion sizes, cooked really well and the prices are very reasonable! The staff are very friendly, always service with a smile!
