Pizza was spot on. Chips were terrible though, very under cooked. I had to put them in the oven, but were still vile afterwards so didn’t eat most of them. Shame as they are really nice when you go into the shop 🤷🏻‍♀️

Food was OK, would of been better but the delivery driver couldn't find us, don't know why. My partner ended up having to walk round the corner to meet him. Food was freezing by then so not nice really. Delivery is always an issue for some reason

chips were soggy and 50% of the large curry sauce was in bottom of the bag as lid wasn't on properly and the sauce was watery and thin.

Great food always consistent and worth a drive from Aylestone. The crispiest batter and chips made with perfect oil so what are you waiting for visit then

portion was like a child size ,medium fish was definitely only mini fish size .

No problems with delivery however I love the food from Olympus it’s the only chip Shop I order from but this evenings food was not hot, chips looked old and battered sausage was cold 😢

Went in last night sat 20th Aug about half six , didn't seem that busy and got served straighaway I ordered Large haddock Large chips Mushy peas Jumbo battered sausage the fish was cooked to order ( to be honest I absolutely 100% prefer to wait ) and also the chips , OMG IT WAS BETTER THAN WHITBY FISH AND CHIPS !!!! , I always put whitby fish and chips up there but last night olympus smashed it , it was beautiful, every single mouthful was lovely , perfect hot fresh chips, nice and friendly staff , wonderful 😋 10/10

Not good. Greasy chips, grey chicken, undercooked sausage and a warm can of drink. Won’t be returning.

Sorry guys, not impressed. The batter was very under cooked and soggy. The cod was also under cooked. The chips were not thoroughly cooked.

So poor waited over 2 hours and it’s saying my orders delivered and iv received nothing so wrs my delivery gone

I came in at 13 51 and asked to order mini fish and chips, and a sauce offer. Bit was told it was too late do so, they finish at 1400, and obviously wanted to get away has soon as possible. Said we have chicken, said do you have any fish cakes, has don't eat meet they said no, won interested in frying a fish cake or any fish because no one was in the shop, absolutely disgusting.

I wanted to order mini fish and mushy peas at 1352 but was told it was too late to fry fish nor, even though they close at 1400! Bit strange I asked do you have any fish cakes, I don't eat meat they said know only chicken. They obviously wanted to close early, as no one was in the shop. Disgusting service not interested at all.

Food always fresh, piping hot and flavourful. Chips are always flavourful and crispy batter on the fish. It’s also great that they make their own onion rings too! New go to chip shop!

Ordered here a couple of times recently for delivery. Fish & chips were really tasty, nice crispy batter and the chips are really flavourful. Good portion sizes and they do some good meal deals. Nice to also see they make their own onion rings rather than using frozen like a lot of places do! Food has came piping hot every time, will be back again for sure.

Absolutely shocking order loads of times but today order turn up and it was completely wrong, cold and vile do not order from thaws they are vile, was not helpful on the phone at all vile dirt place

This is my local chippy so want it to be great but it truth its just about OK. Batter on the fish is a little thick, chips a little aneamic, southern fried chicken lovely and pizza good. All perfectly edible

Just had a take away. The fish, chips and pie were undercooked and cold. Fish was also poor quality. Won’t be going back. We have tried going back a few times and the chips are always a let down, wrapped so tight they become mashed potato.

time kept changing then was nearly 20 mins late, not good but food was lovely but chips and cheese very small portion for nearly £6 and fish bites tiny which they wern't first time ordered.

Quality is first rate & hot. only one v small moan & that is the small chips is enough to feed 3 - 4 people they need to reduce the portion size as its such a waste.

SFC was raw and pink in most parts, also had a strange taste to it. Chips just as bad same weird taste and mostly under cooked, almost taste as if they are just raw potato… not happy! Normally never have a problem with this chip shop until today? Please check the chicken before digging in.

Lovely food, quick and friendly service. One of the best chippies in the area. We have been using this chippy for 10 years now and I recently accidentally forgot my wallet, they were happy for me to pay next time I came in, which is service you don't get often.

This place has really gone down hill !! I asked for large chips had to wait 10 minutes for them. Was served by a miserable woman if she smiled she may have cracked her face !! When I got home they definitely were not a large bag and looked and tasted awful they looked old !! I will not be going here ever again not recommended 😡

I have read some pretty harsh reviews about this place.I must disagree. Food is consistently excellent. The staff are as pleasant as you are to them. I always say hello before demanding my order and use please and thank you. Strangely enough, this tactic works well pretty much everywhere. 😀

Shockingly rude staff. Making people feel uncomfortable is NOT good business and I’d rather spend my money elsewhere. Food is mediocre.

Delivered fast, cant fault that... however, the food was not the best, chips were not good, pizza was ok ...the fish, however, was awful, the batter tasted bad, the fish was crushed into the small box so was in bits, the sausage was cold ... quite disappointing actually especially for how much it cost me

I ordered a small cod and was inedible. It was saturated in fat, the batter was soggy and the fish just disintegrated when open. Could not even try it and had to claim a refund. It was the worst fish I have bought. They are lucky to get one star and would have zero if there was an option.

They were alright a few years ago, but honestly they are just awful now. Minimum payment on card in 2023? Archaic, illogical and irrational - if not a dodgy tactic to put more cash in their pockets and avoid tax brackets. Point-of-sale and payment processing systems which allow small payments are both affordable and widely available nowadays, so there truly is no excuse for this. Their hours are odd to say the least. The food is shocking, Stephen Hawking's reanimated corpse could fry better food with a blowtorch and a bowl of milk. Soggy is an understatement - perhaps "wet" is more suitable. Also occasionally undercooked or just barely brought to safe temps, but generally all just tastes bland. Honestly going here is just a waste of life, and I'd say money too if they'd accept it. Judging from other reviews I think the only word I can use to describe this establishment is "scummy".

The chips was lovely but the pies were both rock hard you could barely get a fork thro the pastry. Not sure I’d order again!

Correct food delivered, tasty and fresh

They have a minimum card payment in place which is inhuman and outdated, especially post-covid. Portions are large and the meat is decent, lots of sauce, but the chips are soggy.

Just been to order food got home one of the items (chicken nuggets) was missing so had to go back. When I did get back home my partner informed me that mine and our sons pies were both cold. Absolutely shocking service wont be using this place ever again

They said there too busy to deliver. Surely there customer base would be better if the offered delivery like they advertise. guy on the phone was so rude. "No deliveries bye" Even turned off the just eat app. There food ain't that great anyway
