Two Steeples - Pub & Grill in Oadby and Wigston

Really nice place for birthdays or just a day out but the food is amazing it also comes quick if it doesn’t there is a park for people and a soft play upstairs ( have to pay for ) if you want to go and there is lots to do up there and it isn’t regularly busy

Staff are wonderful, happy to please and keen to help. Sadly, recently, the quality of the food - particularly the meat, has been poor, last weekend my sirloin steak was awful compared to the rump I ate at a close rival pub the following evening. Tonight, my partners chicken must have died of old age - it was SO stringy and tough. ( Just a thought, but Hunters Chicken in a bowl is impossible to cut!!)My steak was virtually inedible, I had maybe two mouthfuls in total. Such a shame as both Nick, the manager and his staff are so good.

We were served by Maddie and she was really lovely, very helpful and chatty and great + quick service. Lovely food too, very good portion sizes!

My chips, onion ring was cold. I asked for on sauce on my burger but I got mayo on it and it was cold.

Disappointed Experience and Unfair Parking Fine I visited this pub recently with my children intending to have a meal. Unfortunately, we were told that the kitchen was closed, so we stayed briefly to decide where else to go and then left — we were only there for about 17 minutes. A few days later, I received a £100 parking fine (reduced to £60 if paid quickly), which was incredibly frustrating. There were no clear signs at all indicating that I had to pay for parking or register my vehicle, especially for such a short visit. This is a pub, not a pay-and-display car park, so I assumed parking was available for customers — even though we weren’t able to dine in the end. I feel this is unfair and leaves a bad impression. I would strongly advise others to double-check for any hidden parking rules if you decide to visit. A simple meal plan turned into a costly and disappointing experience.

We came here one evening for a drink and something to eat. We were warmly welcomed and served excellently by Dan and Remel. We had the Chicken Sharer which was delicious! Would definitely come here again.

This was a nice place to eat and great value. My food was lovely. Not quite 5 stars as service was a little slow despite the pub being empty.

Some staff not as good as others but one barman really stands out Oliver is good at his job and made the visit worth while keep up the good work oliver

I recently visited Two Steeples Pub in Wigston, and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the steak and ale pie, and it was hearty and full of flavor, with a perfectly flaky crust. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. My partner had the fish and chips, which was equally tasty and freshly prepared. A special mention goes to our waitress Sim, who made our experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It’s clear that Sim takes pride in providing excellent service, making us feel welcome and valued. Her warm and professional manner really stood out. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a nice mix of locals and visitors. Overall, a fantastic pub with delicious food and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

Went with a friend for lunch. Very pleasant. Food good. Sadly the waitress insisted on addressing us as ‘sweetheart’ or ‘darling’ which we both found most annoying

Food was incredible and amazing value on a Thursday night with 2 for £20 deal including drinks. Service from Daniel (the trainee) was great. He was so polite and professional. Will definitely be coming back

Our server Hayley was absolutely amazing! Took the time to sit down and talk to my child. Was always there to help and answer any questions! Up for a talk. Made our experience worth coming out for lunch! 100% would come again and recommend. Hayley is a brilliant asset to greene king.

Thought i would take the family out for a nice meal as a treat. Food was excellent service was great staff are friendly and very helpful. They were really good with the kids. The only issue i had was 3 months later i get a letter from a debt collector saying i owe £170 for a parking fine i didnt know anything about for unaurtherized parking. I didnt see any signs when entering the car park

First time to the two steeples and i Brought my partner here for an early dinner as we were doing an early valentines day as we won’t be together, and we can’t praise this place enough, the food was tremendous, the service was amazing, all the staff had a smile on there faces and were so welcoming!! Will 100% be coming back! Thank you for such amazing service and beautiful food🩷.

Turning up at peak time on a Sunday with 6 adults and 7 kids and managing to get a table was great. And our servers were so patient with our relentless requests and constant mind changing. Really good value for money as well.

Our family enjoyed a lovely festive Christmas Eve lunch at Two Steeples. The food was delicious and the service excellent! Many thanks to Hayley and her colleagues and also to Charlotte who was able to amend our booking at very short notice! We've dined several times at the Two Steeples. It's always our go to restaurant when visiting our daughter and son in law. We look forward to our next meal.

They catered for a large Christmas party for my family and we were very impressed.

Staff always friendly and accommodating on each visit, and food has been lovely too. The only thing I can criticise them on is the lack of alternative milk for tea or coffee. That's why I only gave 4 stars on the food score.

We visited Two Steeples recently for our Christmas lunch, (party of 16) service was excellent, staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, so special thank you to Char, Hayley and Amethyst. The food was delicious, portions were perfect and it was very tasty and lovely and hot. A big thank you to the chefs Luke, Jas and Josh. We will definitely be back, highly recommend the place. So once again a big thank you to everyone.

Came in for Sunday lunch after another nice meal a couple of weeks ago. Served by Emma, who was very friendly and attentive. Food and drinks didn’t take too long to arrive. Overall happy with the service, the food quality and portion. Will come again.

Sorry to give you one star but I'm raging We visited for my dads birthday 2 weeks ago. The staff were very accommodating....I would have definitely recommended this Greene King as we had a nice evening and the food was very tasty. However I came home from work yesterday and have a £100 fine (dropped to £60 if paid on time) for parking in the pub car park. I was completely unaware that parking had to be paid for. I have eaten at countless Greene King pubs over the years and never had to pay for parking before. I suspect their argument would be that there are signs in the car park but this is the pub car park, it's 6.30pm on a Sunday evening and it's dark outside I wasn't looking for parking signs.......IT'S THE PUB CAR PARK!!!!!!!!!!. The pub was empty I think we may have been the only people in there at that time there were 8 of us in total and not one of us noticed any signs inside or on the table that mentioned signing your car in.....ON ENTERING THE PUB IT WAS NOT OBVIOUS!!! My dad (the birthday boy) drove from Loughborough so he will get a fine as well. Coming to your pub for an evening out has cost us £100's in fines. I used to live in Wigston and I still regularly shop in Wigston and I am well aware that parking is not free for shoppers....but we were eating in your pub!!!!!

Usually excellent but last week meal had to go back to kitchen for correct order and had gone a bit cold when returned to me.

Hayley was the perfect hostess. Nothing was too much trouble and went out of her way to ensure we had a good time and everything we needed. The food and drinks were good and good value.

My husband and I met our friends for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks back. Great food and atmosphere and the service was second to none. Nick was amazing and a really great asset to your company. He was just a naturally friendly guy. Nothing was too much for him. when we asked if the pub is dog friendly he told us what tables were dog friendly and just to let the staff know when we book. I also want to say Amethyst Charlotte+ Sim were brilliant too. Just one thing to mention though you have a step in the pub from the eating area to the bar and I didn't see it and stumbled down it. Luckily I didn't fall but I do think it could do with some yellow tape across it just as a warning so no one does fall down. Everything else is perfect! Thanks guys See you soon.

We popped in for a breakfast and Hayley the waitress on duty was very friendly and very chatty which we loved 😍 nothing was to much for her as my grandson was very picky about his food and she went above and beyond to make him happy thanks Hayley

Had a great time in the Wacky Warehouse upstairs. Lauren and Maisy were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We all enjoyed ourselves. Definitely visit again.

Avoid at all costs. Disgraceful behaviour from staff asking a family with a disabled child to leave because other customers felt uncomfortable. The staff members involved should be sacked

Food was not a nice experience, fries cold and looked like they had come off of someone's else left overs! Burger burnt!!! Not enough for a child's portion this was £10.99.my brothers meal on the other hand was lovely,but he paid £15.99. NEVER AGAIN

Was very noisy, but i had lovely service from a young girl named ruby, although my visit today was not what i expected . I could’nt help but hear the way a higher member of staff with scruffy hair spoke to ruby in front of customers and i cant excuse how unprofessional but also embarrassing that is for the business. I am a manager in hospitality and i can appreciate that things get stressful but it is in no way acceptable to speak to staff that way i quote ‘whats the matter with you now’ Ruby replied with ‘nothing’ And the staff member proceeded to say ‘well clearly there is well what is it can you not handle two section on your own’. How rude i hope this does not happen often as she seems like a really nice girl and with the right guidance an asset too the team. Well done ruby keep your head up hope you see this

Great place to eat and have a drink. I waited at the bar for 10mins as staff were too busy having conversations, not work related, so disappointed I had to wait so long. The one girl serving didnt understand the bar equity as was aerving people closest to her and not ones waiting the longest! The quiz was on, and many people at the bar too. Nice atmosphere

Wakey warehouse soft play is amazing. Thanks to Lauren and Charlotte for their lovely and friendly support and service that they provided for my little girls 4th birthday party for her and her friends . 💕 I was a bit anxious how it will turn out. Seeing Charlotte and Lauren they kept the girls and the boys busy. Which put me at easy. My little girl was happy and said she had the best time ever!! . Many thanks to the girls who made it happend.

We had a birthday party booked for my son in the wacky warehouse here. I could not complain about anything. The staff members couldn't do enough for us and catered to every need. We were served by Tamera and Charlotte and again had the best experience ever. Will definitely be booking here again for my other child's birthday. It was a stress free experience and the pricing was brilliant.

I can't say enough about the staff from 2 steeples, they're friendly and can't do enough for you, I'm registered disabled and walk with a stick an I'm my elderly Mum's primary carer and we go to the 2 steeples most weeks for our lunch if we need a bit of shopping it's so well located on a pedestrianised street with most of the best shops on it. When we go to the 2 steeples they can't do anything more than they do I couldn't recommend them enough, our servers today were Hayley, SIM and Maya... Very happy regular customer...

I took my kids to the play area. They love the place there. The service staff was very kind. Her name is Tamera. She's kind to the kids.❤️ Just one thing I hope you fix the soap machine in the bathroom.😅
