Helen is a lovely server, we visit frequently and always enjoy it. Food is always perfect and very quick service. She is so kind and willing to go out of her way to ensure that we have the best experience possible :)

My recent visit to Bella Italia was very good. They had great food and a cosy atmosphere. Special thanks to Vrishti for being of great service!

I went to the place yesterday, the food was delicious, ambience was great but services was just top to point. Vrishti served me yesterday she is really polite and sweet. She took care for me all the time.

I recently visited Bella Italia and the food was good and the service was great. Vrishti was our server and she was very soft spoken and truly professional. She checked several times if everything was okay to make sure we had a good experience. Will definitely visit again.

The was a good selection of food and cocktails at a reasonable price. We went on New Year’s Eve and had a few cocktails which were really awesome . The food was great. The service was also excellent. Unable to fault the. Will definitely come again

Absolutely shocking experience. £21.95 per head and there were 22 of us. we were served microwaved slop. Before the main came out the manager was arguing about the price and demanded additional payment for the next course. Few of us left and the ones that remained didn't eat as the chef and kitchen staff were equally unprofessional and so we decided not to eat anything that came out of that kitchen. All in all an Absolutely shocking display of customer service...avoid..avoid..avoid

Antes de que saliera la principal el gerente estaba discutiendo sobre el precio y exigió pago adicional para el próximo curso. Pocos de nosotros nos fuimos y los que quedaron no comieron ya que el chef y el personal de la cocina eran igualmente poco profesionales y por lo que decidimos no comer nada de lo que salió de esa cocina. Con todo, una muestra absolutamente impactante de servicio al cliente . . evitar. . evitar. . evitar también descubierto que no somos las únicas personas para que esto suceda . . arruinar lo que debería haber sido una gran Navidad hacer

Went recently for works Xmas meal, wow just wow, it was Terrible from start to finish! Camembert was over cooked and flat (microwaved) Mains were shocking! Barely touched it! Fondants had collapsed (microwaved) Sick all over male toilets floor Poor Service Left starving and feeling like I’ve been fleeced 😣 Shame but it really was that bad!!

Couldn't be worse. Staff are TERRIBLE, had to ask about 15 times for everything, never checked on us, and forget one out of four meals. Food is just microwaved. Pasta was dry, sauce watery. The vegan options were nice though, I assume they can't just store them in the microwave until ready. They have made up rules about offers to so check thoroughly before ordering if you want to use the app, as they WILL try to scam you. The most expensive ready meal I've ever begrudgingly eaten.

Don't waste your money. I've been to other Bella Italia's and really enjoyed the meal but this was really disappointing. Pasta swimming in water, service was slow and one of our meals was forgotten about. Wondering if the kitchen is shared with the hotel? I'm not sure but definitely won't be going back.

Possibly the worst pasta I’ve ever had. One of the dishes was dry and chewy and the other was bland with no taste. Both dishes were cold. Microwave meals would have been nicer. The chefs should be ashamed and the restaurant should be embarrassed

Don't waste your money food is awful. Complained to the waiter who just laughed.

My friend and I went with our daughters for a nice meal out. This was utterly ruined by the noise of kids running around being very boisterous. Not only was this dangerous but no consideration at all for fellow diners. This went on for the duration we were there which was approximately an hour. We were only given an apology by the manager and feel this was not good enough. Will not be returning.

Me sorprendió mucho conseguir comida caliente. Mis visitas anteriores a otros restaurantes italianos habían sido decepcionantes, pero mientras me alojaba en el restaurante pensé que lo probaría. La comida de 3 platos fue genial. Lo mejor que he tenido. El servicio fue genial también. Lo único que lo defraudó fue el tiramisú que parecía una fina rebanada de pastel. Tomó a la esposa y los niños en el espolón del momento un miércoles por la noche. Llegué allí alrededor de las 17.30 a tiempo para pedir a los niños comer por una opción de libra. . El servicio era bueno, la comida era preciosa, muy recomendable. Definitivamente volveré

Really expensive. 1st time we went food was average. Took a long time to get them to bring the bill over so paid at the till. Then i was chased and brought back into the restaurant. Shambles. 2nd time food was pretty poor. No one was in there. No atmosphere. The woman that served us was nice. Tried it twice 6 months apart. Learnt our lesson. Never again.

I've been a few times before, but it's certainly gone downhill. How can a restaurant function with almost half it's white wine list missing. No Tiramasu latte either. Why bother with a menu. We changed from the table we were offered, as although it was laid, it was dirty. The waitress seemed indifferent to this. Food was ok, but with such lack of interest and care to attention, this was my last visit

My family and I ate here on a wednesday evening, was not particularly busy but food took 40 mins to be served. Considering our little one was having pizza this came after our mains. The service felt disorganised like the team wasn't communicating with each other well. The food was good and enjoyed by all but it was the experience that let things down.

Great place to eat and we had a great service.

The food is very tasty but one of the waiters must have been new as he forgot he was serving us meaning we had to ask to be served after 20 minutes of waiting around. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and extra helpful during our stay.

Food was as expected for Bella Italia , service was very good. Restautant had more of a canteen feel very open not the best atmosphere.

Lovely atmosphere very clean and welcoming. The young man that served us was very helpful, pleasant and provided excellent customer service. He made the visit very enjoyable and is an asset to the company. Food came out fast was lovely and warm and very tasty. Would definitely recommend this place and would return.

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant and it wasn’t too bad an experience. This restaurant is a short distance from our home, and although we’ve lived in the area for 27 years we rarely dine here due to the high prices – there are a lot of other eateries within easy travelling distance of our home that serve up good food at a reasonable price, so we really don’t need to use this restaurant. The reason we took the ten minute walk to have dinner here on this occasion was that my wife received and email with an offer of any pasta meal for £5 which seemed too good to miss. As usual the restaurant looked clean and tidy. We easily got seated as the place wasn’t too busy. Our order was soon taken by a pleasant young man who soon brought our drinks to the table. Our meals of spaghetti and meatballs, lasagne and garlic flatbread were also quickly delivered to the table. The meal was great and the final bill was in the region of what we would normally pay for dinner out, if not a little less, so definitely good value for a nice meal on this occasion. We would almost certainly use this restaurant more often if they did more of these offers, but as stated we would not eat here under normal circumstances due to the expensive cost of the food.

The pasta was gross and overcooked. The sauce was dry and overcooked. It had all the blandness of food that's been reheated multiple times with an awful aftertaste. Also, not sure what pasta they used but it's not papperdelle like is advertised.

Wednesday night just a handful of people let the atmosphere down but food and service was good

Their pizzas used to be very good and i used to come for the restaurant. But lately their pizzas taste like those from the supermarket. But desserts are still nice.

The service at the time was new, had to ask the waiter, the waiter had to rush back to the kitchen to get someone else to answer. But it was alright

We stayed at the hotel it was connected too and decided to have our evening meal and it was by far a great choice, me and my wife went for the 3 course deal they have the starters were brilliant, we had some garlic dough balls in cheese and cheese filled gnocci, the main meal I went for the calzone which was amazing and without a doubt the best tasting one I have ever had while my wife had the Lasagne. The deserts were very very tasty and would advise the cookie dough. If we get the chance we will visit again.

We came here for dinner on a Thursday night. The service was brilliant. You can tell that much of the business here comes from the Hotel next door. The food service was very quick and there was a good menu to choose from. We were a bit disappointed that the main courses didn't come with any garnishes, and were slightly small. The restaraunt was clean and tidy. Plenty of parking.

The food was excellent. The biggest issue is the ambience. You would get more ambience sitting on the central reservation of the M1. It's just a cold soulless space, which means we won't be returning.

This place is superb. I had the calzone followed by the Tiramasu was so nice, my wife had the veg pizza which was yummy. The atmosphere really nice, great ambiance and the staff very nice and helpful. Bella Italia never ceases to amaze me.

We are occasional visitors here As with other recent reviews, the wait for food was too long. The waiter took the brunt of the complaint that clearly was not his fault, and was polite and apologetic. Other staff were had to find. Food was fine but a 1/2 pizza with a small salad should not cost the same as a whole pizza.

Pasta dish was dry, not to usual standard, coleslaw was missing from the order won't be ordering again

Staff were nice enough, but I can't comment on the food because we gave up after over an hour of waiting. My family and I chose Bella Italia for a birthday dinner because we were bringing two under-7s, there's a good kids' menu, and we were hoping for a quick turnaround before the kids needed to go to bed. The kids' bedtime came and went, and our food had still not arrived. We were told there was an event happening in another part of the venue, and our food would be at least another 20 minutes. We had waited over an hour at this point. We packed up and went to McDonalds instead, just to get the kids fed. Had we been told to expect a 90-minute wait time, we wouldn't have had to waste so much time, and we might not have celebrated a grown adult's birthday at McDonald's — despite that being quite nostalgic!

Alittle slow service today..food took ages to come out.

The order never came. £37 for nothing. They didn’t even help me out.

Had a burger last night. Was a plain bun with an overdone burger. Chips were overdone aswell. It looked like an under 5’s birthday party lunch. £15.99 for this. It was the worst burger I’ve ever seen. The lovely lady serving us changed all 3 of the burgers. This is a change in the burgers I had one 12 months ago and it was how a burger should be made. Won’t be coming here ever again!

Visited with 3 friends but we only had coffee, which is always good. All staff are great.

No chocolate source and the brownies are really dry.

The food was spot on, the service was really good. The only issue I had was that the venue was slightly cold but we were next to the window. Overall, it was a really good experience and I would definitely go to this restaurant again!

Very small portions, sweet fries burnt and cold

When the waitress couldn't pronounce bruschetta, we understood straight away that the restaurant it's not actually Italian. Bruschetta base was half a "cob". They have no idea of how a bruschetta base looks like. Then we indulged in a pizza, which confirmed the same. Tasted very similar to frozen pizzas that you get from supermarkets (probably the base was actually from a tesco!). Plus soya sauce on pizza??! Veggies were not fresh either. Coke tasted like Coke. Maybe the glass was the only thing that reminded me of pizzerias in Italy. I saw a picture hanging on the wall of my former home city Verona though. For claiming to be an Italian restaurant, they got everything wrong, apart maybe from the gelato dessert, which had the right consistency and flavour. If even the gelato is not homemade, you know what to think about this restaurant.

Had a wonderful night at a family birthday meal here. The staff were lovely, food was great and the lady who served us went out of her way to make it a wonderfully memorable birthday for our mum. Great will definitely go there again.

Gone down hill since last time I went food was not great bland they used to have so much better choice but now nothing great. And pricey for the standard kids did not enjoy it.

Food was excellent, hot and served quickly. Exceptional service from the staff especially from Scott who made us feel very welcome and made sure my choices from the menu were in line with my food allergies. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and nicely decorated restaurant. We will definitely eat here again.

Service was fine but the food i think has gone downhill calamari was tiny portion, chicken breaded breast was bland and just bit of rocket salad and chips, and cheese cake was not good did not melt in your mouth but crumbled spent over 100 pound also disappointed tbh so won't be going back. Sorry staff were helpful noisy in there also.

Did not expect to give five stars before visiting. Although Natalie and her team were brilliant. The food was very high quality and the service exceptional. Lots of children at the restaurant but the staff were great with them. All round great evening.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Seated in the foyer, cold and unwelcoming, as there was a childrens party going on and too noisy in the restaurant area - utter bedlam with screaming kids running around unsupervised. Couldn’t hear ourselves think let alone try to decide what to eat. Starters arrived without the ciabatta bread accompaniment. Had to ask at the bar for the bread and the waiter eventually brought it out and slung it on the table! The staff had a collective age of 22 so I guess it would have been difficult and uncomfortable for them to speak to the parents about their noisy offspring. Shocking service, food was meh and atmosphere was ‘couldn’t be arsed’. Would have had more enjoyment if I’d stayed at home and repeatedly poked a pen in my eye!! Gave up in the end and cancelled our mains - ended up at Two Steeples, Wigston where we had a lovely meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Restaurant felt like it was in a service station, really strange atmosphere. Waitresses were very patronising and brought the wrong order multiple times to our table. They brought our mains whilst we were still eating our starters and the table was that small they both wouldn’t fit on! Very very unorganised. Just go to the one at Meridian instead!

incredibly overpriced for what seems like microwaved food. there is a tesco round the corner, honestly the food from there would have been preferable. its hard to enjoy your food when you know you are getting completely ripped off. £8 for two tiny portions of chips that were literally just chips. pizza was bland and pasta was very disappointing. honestly a microwave meal from the shop for £2 would have been better. i cant remember the last time i was this angry with a take away such a rip off paid £30 for tasteless cheap food.

Lovely big place and the place feels fresh and new. Food arrived at different times, flatbread was supposed to come with the main but it came as a starter, we asked for vegetarian bolognise, it came with meat so had to be sent back and the chips were missed altogether as the chef didnt see it so they arrived near the end of the meal (they didnt charge us). Overall very disappointing to say it wasnt busy

3 Hour Wait On Three Course Food 😳 When Food Finally Arrived IT Was Slightly Above Average. More Staff Needed!

Limited vegan options..I finally had mushroom pizza with cheese although I shouldn't eat dairy. Staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us with a 3 Yr old and 91 Yr old

Only one I visited that is up to scratch is in London ,I know its not authentic Italian but some standard needs to be reached only saving grace the young lady who served us . Would we go back No not for food would I go for a drink yes .

Went to meet a colleague over dinner that was staying at the Holiday Inn next dor, I was headed up to Loughborough afterwards, so parked the van right up on the road outside as it's not a good idea to go into a busy car park, especially when there's plenty of room on the road. Staff were attentive and courteous, menu has a good choice and the food we chose was lovely. Both of us were happy with our food and as it wasn't too busy, we managed to have a good old catch up over dinner before I had to hit the road again. Will no doubt be back when I'm next in town.

Poor service; the staff although friendly were more interested in chatting with one another than meeting the needs of customers . Long wait for our meal despite there being few customers. No air conditioning. Also I felt that we were given misleading information when ordering our food. Overall very disappointing.
