The mushy peas were extremely salty and the chips disappointing. There is a fish and chip shop 5 mins away called Carp & Trout which we’ve had before which was amazing! Maybe it was just an off day here, but we won’t be coming back.

Just got fish and chips delivered, via deliveroo. Superfish website sis not ask for reviews, hence on TripAdvisor. Limp swift small cod, second fried chips. Will not order again from them

I just want to say that I got fish and chips to go last night (20th April) and the young man serving behind the counter was amazing. So polite and friendly. An absolute credit to his parents and a great addition to the chippy. Keep up the good work. I never leave reviews but he wholeheartedly deserves a complement.

Has this East Molesey chippie changed hands? Gone are the friendly familiar faces Gone,too, the white fleshed quality cod, the fine potatoes without “eyes” and the smiling,fast service. Now there’s an oldish, forgetful lady up front and a big guy with a beard who totally ignores customers! We’ll give it one more chance - after 23 years!

We had a takeaway this time with two small fish however the fish were tiny! If you have any sort of appetite then you need a medium as the small will leave you wanting more!

Had a lovely meal here, the service was great. We were given a small plate of prawns & some fresh, warm baguette on the table, bedore we ordered. We had cod & chips & just after it was served, the waitress came over with a trolly of sauces, pickled onions, gerkins & lemons for us to help ourselves. A really unexpected surprise & a lovely touch.

Small fish n chip restaurant with a big reputation. Generally accepted to one of the very best of its type. Good service, staff happy to know you. All meals are cooked fresh and well presented, batter is crisp and tasty and the chips are cooked perfectly. We (my partner and our friends) have eaten here for some years only interrupted by Covid. The quality of has not suffered during the interim. Its truly lovely to be able to eat again at this lovely restaurant. Definitely 5 stars.

Phoned ahead for fish and chips to takeaway. Food almost ready when I got there, though I was a bit early. Cod was white and fresh, chips crisp, and mushy peas just right.

My partner and I go there regularly as it’s a great fish & chips’ shop with friendly staff that will look after you. We always eat in as we enjoy the atmosphere!

There are so many fish and chip shops around and very few that serve the product in a traditional and totally acceptable fashion Superfish is one of them and East Molesey branch as good as any

The taste of traditional yourkshire style beef dripping is addictive. The truel lovely polite customer service keeps me returning :-)

Pleasant enough fish & chip shop. You either like the superfish taste or you don't. I happen to think it always tastes of burned oil and the batter is thin and has a bitter taste and this isn't this particular shop - it's all superfish shops. As the saying goes - you pays your money and takes your choice.

Visited this fish and chip eatery early August 2021 with a friend. Got seated as we were eating in. Table service was provided, helpful friendly waiting staff took our order. Bought over complimentary bread basket with sliced French stick and packets of real butter. Within minutes we were served Haddock and chips, cod and chips for my friend. The Haddock was huge. Fresh light tasty batter, delicious soft flaky fish. The chips were hot and fresh. Then the condiments trolley was bought over, complimentary sauces, tartar sauce, and large slices of gerkins. Washed lunch down with a pot of tea, PG tips I think. The food, cleanliness, and service was fantastic. Clean toilet and wash basin too. Definitely going back there within the next few weeks.

IAfter many years of excellent fish and chips from Super Fish, I was so disappointed in the quality of the good last week.On 11th March, I bought a takeaway for my parents and me for my mothers birthday treat.The cod, the scampi and the chips were all overcooked and tasted like they had been cooked in the previous days oil.We could not eat the food .This was upsetting for my 81 year old mother.

The food is cooked fresh and was very tasty, we have been having takeaway on Fridays since lockdown began. The only thing that needs sorting is the queuing / collection system, I feel that if you order online and pay online as you are advised to do by Superfish then you should have priority over the people that just walk in off the street

Ordered on line and turned up at pick up time to find that they hadn't started to cook the order. There was nobody else waiting, had to wait 15 minutes for it to be cooked. Fish was small for a large cod and chips at £7.20. Also fish and chips had a funny taste as if oil was old. Very disappointed taking into account we ordered for 4 people and not particularly cheap. Have eaten from here several times quality is normally better but last couple of times have been disappointing. Portion size is never that large compared with other fish and chip shops.

Very disappointing over cooked sausage in batter and very greasy batter, chips leave a horrible after taste, would not recommend.

Quite disappointed on the limited menu only 4 different dish to choose from i went for the haddock was bland and tasteless chips was quite dry luckily i ordered curry sauce that was really tasty, Would i go again probably not. 3 stars from me.

New to the area and decided to pop in for a try. What could go wrong? Should have walked out when the guy serving me insisted that I buy four ketchups because he had no change for a single pound coin!!!! Well the fish and chips.....chips over cooked and you guessed it the fish was also over fried, comply dry and were did the taste go???? Even my 6kg cat mezzie turned her nose up at this.....she just wished she was back at Gloucester eating from her usual chippy shop. Lost a customer and a greedy cat 🐈!

Got a take away recently and was really looking forward to it but I found it very disappointing. The batter was overcooked and the cod inside was dry, powdery and largely tasteless. The chips were ok but everything was far too salty and I couldn't finish the meal as it was oily & bland. I gave it a try as it was the only local chippy open and I had heard good things about it but I won't be visiting again.

Superfish is a traditional 'chippy' in the front, serving takeaway and always with a reassuring queue! But it is even more traditional in the back, where you can sit in and enjoy a treat!

Went there with a friend, and another told me to go to this place for the best local fish & chips, which I had never had properly before. It was great. They have a cold cart full of different pickles, sauces, and some other random goodness. I am not sure why, but they give you a bunch of cold prawns to eat before the meal. That was also pretty tasty.

Must have been an off moment... grumpy. Nice fish, average chips.

A few months since last went there. The “whole tail scampi” very disappointing, deep fried cardboard wouldn’t have tasted any different. Serious change for the worse since last visit!

Personally, i think the chips always taste burnt. Cod portions very thin. Threw the curry sauce away

They charged me extra because I substituted a small green salad for my chips. They had no sweetener except unhealthy sugar for my coffee. Overpriced and mean management.

Fish and Chips are cooked to order, always fresh. You can also sit in for a treat that almost takes you back in time. Very popular so be prepared to queue for your take away but always worth it.

This branch of Superfish has been in East Molesey for a long time, and it obviously has a lot of loyal customers. When I visited the restaurant at lunchtime, there were several small adult family groups dining, presumably celebrating birthdays, etc. Unfortunately, this place may not be as good as they used to find it to be. I was disappointed with the food. The fish was not fresh, the chips were not tasty, the slices of French bread were tasteless, although crusty. I appreciated the (unusual these days) touch of the trolley bringing the sauces, pickled gherkins and onions and slices of lemon to my table, but this nice feature, and the excellent service, could not compensate for the poor food.

Local fish and chip shop, that has a seating area at the back.This is not fine dining, this is a place for your fish and chip supper.The restaurant area is dated, but clean and functional. The staff were polite and helpful and the food hot and tasty. Bread and prawns are always served, and when the meal arrives, a trolley follows with gravy boats of ketchup and tartare sauce. Pickled onions and gherkins are there for you to select as well.They have a small selection of beer and wine as well as soft drinks.

Sat in to eat, was surprised at the size of the eating area. Very attentive service . I had grilled haddock which was very tasty. You do have to wait longer if having this as opposed to fried fish. Wasn't too keen on the chips but are hand made but is so busy others must like. Lovely touch of a few prawns and bread to start and pickles and sauces to help yourself to. Will visit again.

What a total disaster. The fish was obviously old and very greasy. As to size so small even the large. 40% of my large chips portion were small cuts not nice. This place has seriously deteriorated in the past year. Will go back to my normal fish and chip shop in Hersham.

Had a tea time fish and chips with my wife and 3 daughters. We were given a lovely round table which seated us easily. The food was gorgeous and generous portions. My wife had sausage in batter and was given 2 generous large sausages. My cod was freshly cooked, the batter crisp and delicious and the fish fresh and full of flavour. The children’s fish portion was also freshly cooked and a large portion. My only gripe was in order to get to the toilet (which with 3 young daughters was quite often) I needed to as another diner to move out the way as he was sat in front of the the toilet door. Also some other diners bought their food from the takeaway and sat themselves down with their chips in paper. Makes you wonder why we did not do the same, we could have eaten in at the takeaway prices. All in all great food and great service.

This place does not close at 10 on a Monday last two weeks in a row it's been shut at 9.40pm and looked like it had been shut for a bit 😔😔😔

Food of average - good quality (apart from the sausage in batter, which is large but flabby & tasteless). Prices on the higher end & portions on the small. Professionally run, clean, decor average. Small and fairly cramped restaurant area.

This was our first visit and we will definitely be going there again. Friday night was busy but luckily there was a table for two available. The surprise was a complimentary plate of fresh prawns served with bread and butter which was lovely. We ordered a glass of wine which was excellent quality considering the cost. For our mains I had the grilled Lemon Sole and my other half the grilled Wing of Skate - both beautifully cooked and fresh, the chips are some of the best I have ever had. The service is very good and the cost good value for money.

A lovely eat-in fish and chip shop that I discovered when staying in the area for a craft show at Hampton Court. I was looking for a quick, tasty, inexpensive meal and Superfish was recommended to me by a number of people in the know, it being a few minutes away from my B&B;.

Hands down the best fish within 3 miles! The portions a very big especially the Mobi! I travel 2 miles to get my fish and chips from here!

We have been going to this branch for a couple of years however it has gone down hill within the last year the last 4 times have been so disappointing the portion sizes of fish are so much smaller they are now serving them on much smaller plates the fish has no flavour or texture having tried the Cod, haddock and such poor quality skate so much so I sent the skate back last week as it was not fresh and had such a strong flavour and aroma even the chips have to be soaked in vinegar and salt for flavour and to complain!!!! that's a different story no apology when confronted by the "manager" who said he fries the fish he was both rude and arrogant another lady was also complaining about the freshness and small portion of fish he was abrupt rude offered no Customer Service at all ... it's now a bad example of the chain AVOID even the pickle tray is snatched away

Had the FnCs and the scampi. Chips were nothing special and not particularly tasty but fish was good and scampi freshly fried but in fish batter rather than breadcrumbs. Whole lot came to around £14.

Fantastic food, in a traditional establishment. The pickles trolley is the icing on the cake! Glad to have found this restaurant/takeaway.

Superfish cook their fish and chips in traditional beef drippings. Personally, this reminded me too much of eating a roast dinner and it was a little greasy. We got a takeaway rather than sitting in but the food is reasonably priced and is alright!

Being an eastern suburbs girl from Sydney, and used to having take away fish'n'chips on the beach this is the closest I've got since moving to the UK.Fish'n'chips - fresh batter, chunky chips, with a few crispy ones thrown in for good measure. Being asked if I wanted vinegar or lemon before the food being wrapped in plain white paper and folded on top, so I could make a hole in it for the heat to rise out of.Talk about homesick!Please please look into opening a shop near Englefield Green, Egham, Windsor, Ascot, Virginia Waters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A clean takeaway and restaurant serving traditional fish and chips but also specials like halibut or sole. Takes credit cards and all freshly cooked food. I like this establishment for everything except the chicken. I prefer my chicken from a rotisserie.

This has been the best fish and chip takeaway for years!! There's often a queue out the door on weekends, so it's best to go earlier or later so not to wait too long. It's definitely worth the wait, though!!The main car park in Molesey high street is a 30 second walk away, so it's nice and easy to get to.The staff are friendly and efficient but you won't get much interaction from them.We have tried other fish and chips when we moved area but you just can't beat super fish so now we won't go anywhere else!

If you're after delicious, fresh and well cooked fish n chips look no further! The charm of the 70s logo and original exterior only adds to the charm. Wasn't expecting much but a freshly cooked cod and some nice chips which is what I got. The mushy peas was good. Washed it with some coke. Some other plates looked interesting too but I guess my meal was better than their's. Do not try other fishes, my friend didn't like his but mine was pretty good.

A friend suggested this place for it's been in the area for a while and is popular with the locals- loved the old fashioned vibe, sauce trolley and the fish (chips weren't to my taste).

My parents have been going here for 50+ years.Great Fish & Chips which you would find hard to beat.The restaurant is always clean & inviting @ the staff always very attentive.

Busy, because the fish is so good. Restaurant can be crowded for the same reason, and since the fish is mainly cooked to order you need to allow for a few minutes waiting. But the fish is always excellent and well cooked and served.

Had dinner here after a very long flight from the US and a nice afternoon nap. Walked from our B&B a few blocks away. Portions were huge and very tasty. The fish was fresh and the fries were crisp and hot. Service was prompt and friendly. Our server brought us a cart filled with condiments. The only negative comment is that it was very warm in the restaurant but then we Americans are used to our air conditioning. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit to SuperFish.

We had takeaway fish and chips from here for the first time on a recent Friday evening. Really enjoyed it. Chips were not soggy and the fish was lightly battered. Don't usually finish it off but did this time!

Every time we have eaten at this super hippie it has been excellent both with regard to food and service. The prawns and delicious hot bread to start together with it being licenced makes it a cut above the rest

We've been eating at Superfish for years. It's always absolutely excellent. Last night I saw a notice there suggesting that we try the "pollock". I'm aware that my favourite cod is over fished and we ought to try other types of fish so I went for it. There was a minimum amount of scrappy bits of fish with no flavour or texture in crisp and almost burnt batter. Next time it's back to the cod.

I love eating here. We offer the option to visiting friends and instantly they say - oh yes fish and chips at Superfish. Fresh bread/butter and prawns to start (just a few, it feels a but measley but really it's just enough). Lovely warm bread, goes down a treat with their white wine. The benefit of eating in means that you get the fishnchips at their perfect best, all crispy, and the fish perfectly cooked, not soggy from being in paper after you get them home. And you have the bonus of the trolley with all you need to go with it, lemon, tartare sauce, onions, gherkins etc. The restaurant is bright and clean and surprisingly spacious at the back where it opens out a bit. Always great service too. Recommended.

This is just what the wrapper says a real fish and chip shop. With lots of benefit, also does delicious grilled fish and excellent wines so suits every one. Lovely friendly service and not overpriced. Perfect how lucky we are to have this on our doorstep. My dad is 100 years old and a real fish and chip 'critic' he loves it and atmosphere so relaxed. Definite 5 star.

I occasionally come to this area and as I'm here all day, have to get something for lunch or dinner. I came across Superfish and decided to eat in almost a year ago and I've visited it twice since then. To say it's good is an understatement. Quite simply the best fish n chips you'll buy anywhere. All fish freshly cooked. Sit in and you'll be presented with some fresh shelled prawns as an appetiser. The meals come with French bread and butter and you will be offered a wide range of condiments, pickles etc. All included in what is a very reasonable price. Absolutely first class food, beautifully cooked and expertly presented. Visit if you are in the area.

There are approx 5 fish and chip shops along the very long Walton Road, this is by far the best one in my opinion. They are always well staffed and serve up great product. If you sit in they bring round prawns as an appetiser and the staff are always attentive. Plus you can get a pot of tea for two to share and a trolley of sauces and pickles. The chips are traditional chunky ones and the batter on the fish is not soggy or greasy, and quite tasty. If you're a bit short of dosh this does make an excellent meal out.

Fish meal was very good, nice surroundings and pleasant staff the place is kept spotlessly clean, one tip do not drink the wine unless you get it for nothing.

On a weeks visit to the area, we enjoyed the meal so much first time, that we went back again later in the week. I can particularly recommend the Lemon Sole, and good old cod & chips. Wine, coffee, ice cream all good. Foreign waitress was exceptional in looking after us. Will definitely go again when visiting friends in the area.

It's nice to come here for a family fish supper. They always serve you complimentary fresh prawns at the table which are always delicious. The cod and chips are always very good and I love the trolley of condiments. Nice simple selection of wines as well and the white is always chilled to perfection.

This Fish bar is immaculate. Spotlessly clean with very pleasant staff. We were given a free sample of some fresh and tasty shell on prawns. We sat in and were surprised by the arrival of a trolley filled with gherkins, pickled onions, lemon wedges, tartar sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, brown sauce, low sodium salt and a pepper mill. All to accompany our tasty meal of haddock and chips. The batter was crispy and the chips were good. Well worth a visit.

Decided to have a meal eat in rather than as a takeaway, served prawns and fresh bread while waiting for meal to arrive which was nice, when the meal (cod & chips) was served the portion size was excellent as was the trolley with pickles etc on is a nice touch. Recommend having an eat in meal here as it is good value for money and the waitress was super.

If you are looking for authentic fish and chips, either to take away or eat in, this is the place to go. Because the food is so good you may have to queue for a table but it is well worth the wait. Definitely the best fish & chip shop in the world!
