The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Really nice food. Friendly staff and efficient. Place is clean and tidy and very cosy. Will continue to visit when I need take away or restaurant meal. Highly recommend.

Visited with my husband and dog for tea. We popped inside but the chap said he would come out to rake our order. We sat at one of the pretty tables. We ordered haddock and the sausage and both were lovely. So nice to sit and have quality drinks too. Really polite and efficient staff.

Not the greatest, I don’t like triple cooked chips and teacakes were dry. We went in on the last few reviews so I think my view of great fish n chips differ from there’s.

Lovely food, very tasty and service so friendly. Best ever fish and chips, so fresh, and perfect. With pudding and will go again. A+++++

Got some chips today they were dry and cold worst chips l have from a fish and chip shop l will never go there again gone downhill

We have not been here for a long time, even though we live in skipton me and my parner got fish and chips each and a tub of gravy and a cold drink absolutely scrumptious fish perfect and delicious crunchy batter, chips just as good sat round the corner on a bench lovely.... Fish freshly fried for each customer Very very friendly polite family who own it and run it. Best chip shop in skipton. Defo be back soon. Thanks guys 💕 Lisa and phil x

Some of the previous reviewer's have the wrong fish shop. THIS IS STOCKBRIDGE FISH AND CHIP SHOP...NOT A RESTAURANT OR SERVES LASAGNE. This is an old established fish and chip shop. Taste lovely and good portions. £7.50 for fish and chips, the fish are not as big as they used to be, the chips are also a bit scrappy. Times are hard for the owners, so have had to cut down on portion sizes, and quality of chips. Also, opening times have reduced, not enough trade now as they are so expensive now. It's still the best fish and chips around here, and would recommend you to come and try them. I hope locals use it more, because it will close if they don't and he a curry takeaway for laundering cash. Sign of the times I suppose.

Esto ahora se llama pesca Falsgrave , cuando se abrió por primera vez era realmente agradable y desde que lo hizo abierto tenía pescado regular n patatas fritas en una hora de té del sábado . La calidad era brillante y muy agradable. Mi pedido de pescado y patatas fritas recientemente estaba bien, pero el pescado era gris, significa que ha estado en hielo durante mucho tiempo, había algunos huesos en mi pescado, no se esperaba, ya que siempre ha sido muy agradable. Es muy caro y no estoy seguro de si volveré por un tiempo... . la calidad tiene que seguir siendo un alto estándar cuando se cobran precios altos... . .

Awful chips, cheap hard potatoes.

Tried most chip shops in hull this one is by far the best one good value for money with lots of specials and very friendly staff 10 out of 10

**EDITED** Popped in at lunchtime and was horrendous!! Uncooked fish, hard chips and extremely rude!! Not going back!!

We ordered fish & chips and sausage & chips. All were cooked freshly and were well wrapped so still hot when we got home. The portions are huge and we struggled to finish them. The batter on the fish was exceptional. We’ve been here several years ago and it was just as good back then. The prices are reasonable and the shop inside is clean and tidy.

Best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time ! Fish tasted so fresh lovely light batter, Curry sauce was fantastic as well could easily park close by as well

Taste-wise, it has one of the best fish and chips in town. They also have two tables for dining in, and there is not much waiting time. The food prices are affordable.
