Awful just awful fish was full of skin chips were warmups and staff r rude very greasy batter 2 what a joke

Absolutely outstanding food served by absolutely lovely staff that go above and beyond every single time

Second poor meal first one, small portion, after we asked for large, then cold scrappy chips, fish was okay, just greasy like it had just come out the oil. Second meal, twolarge fish, chips, peas one with a pattie. Jumbo sausage chips, and pattie bites and chips Latter were okay. But my chips were awful again, cold and small portion,which contain a lot of scrappy bits. The fish, was horrid, the inside of the batter, was soggy wet, Litterally removed the batter ate the fish. The pattie, wow, rather then acrispy batter, it was like rubber, the bottom was dark, couldnt eat it. Alas, one pretty average meal, and a pretty poor one, it isn't cheap, and i havent returned.

Had a fantastic fish chips patty peas and mug of tea first time here definitely will be again every time we visit from Scotland everything was tops staff so friendly thank you for my "takeaway patties" 😂😂😂😂xx

Phoned for a takeaway but driver on holiday no deliveries? You must be losing trade really poor service this is the second time you have let me down last time fish over cooked asked for peas never happened i got a call saying we will make it right next time offered me a free can of pop ? I already had paid for peas I didn't get ?

Great food, the best patties I've ever had tbh - took care of my daughter and our dietary requirements! Our server Louisa was lovely and a great representative for your business. Great food, great price, great service Will definitely be back!

Delivery service is a joke waited nearly 2 hours for two specials

We visited for takeaway whilst in Hull for the weekend as they catered for Gluten Free. I had GF fish and chips and decided to have the onion rings as well as it is a novelty to get GF options! My husband had a sausage supper and tried a Pattie Bite (we had no idea what they were! ). Our takeaway was so good we decided to return and eat in the restaurant on the Monday lunchtime before heading home. We both enjoyed a Pattie bites special lunch (I had GF cheese and onion) and enjoyed chatting with the staff who were very friendly. A visit to East Park Chippy will be a fixture on our itinerary each time we come back to Hull for sure.

Welcomed by friendly staff member Louisa. Ordered one of the specials fish chips and mushy peas, mug of tea with a free pattie. Very hot, tasty and decent portion size. If require any condiments just ask. The place was very clean and tidy. Toilet facility very clean too. Would recommend.

My friend & I called in here Wednesday 11th September just before 12. We sat at a table near the door. This was our first ever visit. we were soon given a very friendly warm welcome by a cheerful waitress I believe was called Sandera. (Sorry if I got this wrong)She was very helpful explaining the specials board. We opted for Fish chip peas with a free pattie & hot drink price £10.50 each.The restaurant was spotlessly clean. Our food soon arrived & was piping hot. I can honestly say we both thought the food was delicious & the best we had tasted in a long time. The Fish was cooked to perfection, chunky & a generous portion. The food here is excellent. If you haven't been here before then you are missing out & I strongly Recommend you to give it a try really soon. We will definitely be returning in the future. Love this place. I just feel let down because they don't deliver to HU7 Sutton.

This is usually amazing. But £11.35 for 3 chips and a bottle of vinegar for the chips to be OLD AND STALE like they had been sat in the tray for hours is just not good enough. You had a queue you should not be serving people stale old cold chips!

Really disappointed without tomightd order ,the chips have changed , the gravy is like glue and tastes like bisto and got cheese spam which was cold , I've always loved east park and had delivery a few times .but not for me with the changes

Changed the bank holiday to a meal instead!! Went to into the restaurant for amazing offer on a large fish special, brilliant priced, but most importantly the best fish had in a very long time, great service!!!

Absolutely amazing chippy. Staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help. Great gluten free menu which is fab as I'm coeliac. Generous portions and good value for money. I highly recommend East Park Chippy, try it for yourself, it won't disappoint 😀

I was here first time today and I am 100% happy. The food was so tasty. I was ordered with my husband fish and chips. Was so good, no oily like in most places, so delicious. The prices really low and the staff so friendly especially the lady in black long hair. Nice and clean inside. Thank you.

Foods gone right down on quality over past few months

The fish is the best in East Hull along with the portions. Even though they have a queue outside the door most days the service is fast and the women on the front are always having a laugh with customers! Feels very family friendly! Keep it up EPC

Absolutely fantastic place, the service is impeccable, and the food is ridiculously tasty, and at an amazing price, gluten or gluten free, the choice is yours, it's all delicious, (I recommend the gluten free curry)

Lovley fish n chips great staff

Called to check as the app is not very clear on whether fish comes with chips, didn’t even get to say thank you after my answer and she hung up the phone. £80 order gone.

Saw a food review of this place online. It didn’t disappoint! We went for the haddock and chips with their famous tatties and battered sausage. Served with curry sauce and gravy. As a Southerner, I had never had tatties before. They were unreal, they tasted like battered stuffing balls We were able to get a seat in the restaurant and served by the lovely Lou! She couldn’t do more to help us and gave us some tatties to take home and give the kids. If you’re up in Hull check it out! Great food and cheap 😊😊😊

Nice food expensive tho for a chippy

Wood grain chips look like they was peeled a month ago and left in water.worlds smallest chip butty and condescending management .Over priced for portion size, try the better chip shop that's on the next row shops 1000 times better .

we usually get takeaway from here and it’s always nice- sat in today and it was just as delicious. staff are delightful and atmosphere is great. my grandad complimented the food and was given free patties to take home :,) best in hull!!

Really poor food for money chips has been cooked twice minimum and for the price no sauces provided everything is extra apart from salt and vinegar scraps taste like literal fat nothing on pollards only went as Pollard's was too full never again avoid like the plague don't see the hype of this place service wasn't great neither

First time we tried here as seen on the internet it was an award winning fish and chips! But I am left very unhappy and hungry as the chips were not cooked properly might as well of eaten a raw potato and it was lukewarm, the fish had more skin than fish it’s self. We didn’t even want the skin on! Wasted £28 on somthing we had to put straight in the bin!

Really looked forward to this chippy tea, on a bank holiday. After returning home with fish and chips, pattie bites etc, couldn't wait to get tucked in. Opening the box, firsr thing to hit me, was how brown the pattie was, and where were the chips,!? I moved the fish, which looked nice I probably could of put the proper chips in my hand, the rest were scrappy looking things. Wasn't that many in the first place. Tried the pattie, the batter was rubbery, and the thing itself really oily. Couldn't eat most of that, first for me I'll tell you. I was given one of the pattie bites off our order ,and that was totally different, actually liked those. I ate what chips I had, leaving most of the scrappy ones. Couldn't get any worst surely, the fish looked nice, wrong!! The batter inside wasn't cooked through, Litterally had like a crispy batter with a soggy coating inside , wasn't nice, ended up eating the fish leaving the batter. Least the patty bites were okay and a decent portion of chips, with that order. Couldn't have a bigger difference in portion and quality . The wife said, we should of got a kebab, if only we had known! Says it all, we all agreed, real let down. Gone a bit south when it comes it's food since our last visit for sure.

When asking where my order was after quite a while waiting, the women who answered the phone, well do I dare say I’d have a better conversation with someone who’s been dug up, extremely rude! No customer service skills at all. Shame really. Foods warm and quite nice, not worth the rudeness really, I’d rather go to Karen’s diner if I wanted that personality.

I went today for Patty peas & chips, 1st lot of chips where cold, 2nd lot was slightly warmer but these chips was left from the afternoon and scraped from the bottom of the holder, scabby little chips totally disgusting, this is the 2nd time I have had this done to me. The fryer said the problem was that I had put vinegar on them (So had the vinegar shrunk them, then?) total joke, I Thought I would give them a 2nd chance, never again. I was not even offered a refund. If you want a top chip shop go to Beeford, 2 Bridlington Rd, Beeford, Driffield YO25 8AN, It is the best chip shop around

Living in Sweden it was my first port of call direct after landing at Manchester airport! Excellent friendly service from the best fryers in the business. Good size portions! Light and crispy batter on a lovely bit of haddock! Chips were chunky and perfect! A good consistency and nice flavour to there their curry sauce! An all round good experience! I can highly recommend this Chippy!

Ordered online at 5.05pm tonight for delivery that was booked for 6pm. Msg on the Chip Shops order said it would be 7pm….not happy but thought it’s Good Friday…no problem. 7.20 still no food so called them. 15 attempts later I got through to be told oh yeah yours is next out….even though the order tracker said the order was completed !!! I asked why & was sharply told ‘I don’t know’ then she hung up. Still waiting at 8pm I drove round with a view to getting my money back With about 30 people queuing I joined. Hubby at home…. Phone call from him at 8.40 to say it had arrived. No apology from them for the 3 1/2 hour + wait, cold congealed food. Will never go there again. Shame on you East Park Chippy. Rude staff & shody food.

Rang through order at 10am because it was Good Friday. Delivery was supposed to be at 6pm but arrived at 8pm and was cold. Chips were skitty and fish had skin on which I had asked to be skinned. No scraps also. Rang twice to chase up the delivery and was told that I was informed that it would likely be delivered at 7pm which I wasn't. If I had I would of asked for delivery at 5pm. Total waste of £35.

Fish was fresh, Pitty the batter was so so thick .chips were chips .won't go again as the grease kept repeating on us after half hr.shame ...seem friendly, There far better battered fish out there .

Awesome. My wife and grandson shared a large haddock and chips. The haddock was enormous, i don't think it was caught in a net it must've been harpooned 🤣. I had a spam fritter, the size of a house brick, and chips. The food quality was excellent. The service was quick and friendly. All for less than £15. To be honest there was enough food to feed 5 adults. Recommend 👍

Best chippy to go for Gluten Free fish, and now they’ve even added patties. They gave me a complimentary GF patty to try which tasted better than any patty I’ve had before, as well as providing amazing service, very friendly people.

My 100 year old father-in-law has just requested a plate of fish and chip. I went to the East Park Chippy where they made up his request (for just a small portion) freshly fried. He's eaten it all and says its one of the best fish and chips meals he ever had👍.

Delicious and huge fish 🙂. Chips are the best and patties are the fullest of flavour in hull. My mum and sister travel from the Cotswolds to take big batches of patties home with them because when they visit hull they start to crave them

We go in quite regularly and the customer service is amazing. The food is always fresh and is cooked perfectly. Went in today to eat in and was served by Janette who made us feel so relaxed and made sure we had everything we wanted. Service at its best 10/10 would recommend 👌

East Park Chippy is an excellent fish & chip shop. It's very clean, the staff are friendly and the food is top-notch. I called in today just for Patty and chips. The patties are absolutely gorgeous, probably my favourite, from any chip shop in Hull, so light and fluffy. The fish and chips are also very good. There is a nice restaurant if you want to eat in.

Had delicious fish and chips from here a while back so decided to have them again...wish I hadn't. The food was 25 minutes late, despite ordering and paying on the app and booking for delivery an hour in the future, I had to call them to ask where it was. The lady who answered the phone was perfectly nice, and I could hear in the background that they were busy...but she told me 4 times they had a driver down and didn't give an apology. When the food arrived, there was a can of pop missing. The food was lukewarm and had obviously been sat for some time as the chips were mostly stuck to the bottom of the box. The peas were mega hot tho! The fish was lovely, but could have been hotter. I ordered for delivery, as if I had have collected, by the time I had have walked home, the meal would have been cooler...I gained nothing and paid £3 for the privilege! I think having a 'plan b' for driver illness would be of much benefit to you...especially on a Friday evening. Sorry East Park Chippy, sadly its a thumbs-down from me :(

Fish is amazing and gluten free even better

We got the new Munchie Box, it was very good value for money at £16! It was tasty too and easily enough for 4 people. The delivery was very prompt too.

Really really disappointed in having to leave a bad review. After seeing all the great review we thought we would order. We ordered at 5.30pm then it said estimated delivery 6. Then changed to 6.30pm fair enough. Its now 7.45pm and still waiting. No matter how nice the food is. (NOT tried it yet so hoping its warm!!!) No one should have to wait this long and definitely will be avoiding next time. Never had to wait so long for a take-out. And people on the phone could of been more understanding. I understand places get busy. But this is just a pure pisstake. When ordering for our family (with kids)When we have put a big order in.

Best fish and chips in hull by a mile,lovely crispy batter and chunky white fish,pattie bites wow great the next day in air fryer lovely gravy aswell and the potato scallops are well worth 30p each I won't go anywhere else for my fish and chips.

People kept telling me to Visit this chip shop as they think it’s the best in Hull and the Patties are amazing. The shop is clean, although the ordering/waiting area is a little Small (if you get a couple of big people stood there it will be very tight) The staff were excellent, Friendly and very chatty. It’s always nice when you are served by a happy member of staff. The food I ordered a large fish and chips curry sauce, Pattie, chips and mushy peas and a Pattie. The fish was big. The batter was crispy and good. Sadly the skin of the fish was left on. Now I don’t like the skin on my fish so it was a little bit of a let down. I was not told about the skin and can’t Recall seeing any signs saying they leave the skin on. The chips were first class, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and not a sign of grease. The curry sauce was fruity and I really enjoyed dipping my chips into the sauce. The patties were out of this world!! Soft big and thick a meal in it’s self. The taste was fantastic. Big portions and great service, Just a shame about the fish which I binned because of the skin (so I did not get to really experience)

Excellent fish and chip shop, the cafe is brilliant and not expensive. We live 30 miles away but often travel to Hull for lovely fish and chips at an excellent price.

Had this for family tea, rather then pizza our first option, even though we were going to the seaside next day, for more fish and chips Wish we hadn't to be fair, not had many bad meals from east park chippy. But it was one to forget. The peas, gravy fine, the ULL pattie spot on, But the chips, both of us felt ripped off, really dry and crispy chips, couldn't eat most of them. The fish, compared to other visits, wasn't great, wasn't the biggest for starters, and felt like it was more batter then anything. We actually discussed do you think they gsve us medium rather then large. Alas one poor tea for us. We will be back as we normally have good meals. Did we just fall unlucky today.!?

Really recommend this place. We visited after been swimming so we was really hungry. Service is great and it was a real good family place to eat.

Gone right down the pan. Scabby chips, curry tasted of perfume which was really weird and the fish was black. Never again.

Great place, usually go to Papas as didn't thi nk they did gluten free here, Papas gf fryer was broken so took a chance and this was 100% better, very quick and really pleasant staff. Highly recommend.

Not the greatest service from the ladies, kind and friendly yes but not first come first serve last few times I've cued and had a regular come in and they serve them first which well if I've been waiting and they've just come in is rude.. Other than that no faults food is fab just wait of they put a fresh batch of chips in wait cos otherwise they'll rush them to get rid of you, happened other day chips were still pale white, they'd just gone in so one of them I shoulda asked if they could be cooked for longer

Jovial banter on arrival, about the relative merit of square spam....I asked for 2 medium haddock...then realised offer of 2 medium F&C and mushys for £15.....Is it really that long since I have ordered.....Nice Fish..Chips ok but a few black ones...Nice peas to finish the meal
