Tried most chip shops in hull this one is by far the best one good value for money with lots of specials and very friendly staff 10 out of 10

Reserved a table for three. On arrival, we were greeted in a very friendly manner. This was our third time at East Park and the server recognised us from our previous visits! POSITIVES: 1. Piping hot food promptly served 2. Delicious fresh fish 3. Superb value for money 4. Great friendly service 5. Tasty chips and mushy peas 6. Clean and hygienic NEGATIVES: There are non! Will be back soon!

Came to the shop on good Friday was seated amedatly staff was friendly polite and went out they way ti assist my family when food arrived about 15 minutes after been seated was piping hot the fish I got was a nice size and tasted nice so much I even gave a tip would recommend this place as been anumber of time wildest been in the area and enjoyed what I got.

We came in 430pm good fri was seated quickly drinks given 1st 10mins waiting for food fantastic service as always staff 100%

Ordered delivery at 4:50pm. Allowed me to select 5:30 for delivery. After ordering it changed to 6:30. Which was absolutely fine as it is Good Friday and I’m totally aware they may have been busy. Got the notification to say it was on its way just before 6:30. Got to 7 and I rang up just to double check how long they expected. Was then told it hasn’t even been cooked yet and it would be quicker to collect myself as two drivers have gone home. At this point it was fine going to collect because I was fed up of waiting. I get there to be greeted by some rude women shouting at people saying they’ve been busy all day and we’re been impatient. I don’t think waiting nearly 2.5 hours before saying anything is impatient. I actually gave you more than enough time. Got my order to be told no beans left and they’d put mushy peas in them all instead. Didn’t even ask? Which ruined half the meal because two of us don’t even eat mushy peas. Got home and we’d ordered a Jumbo and regular fish. They appeared to be exactly the same size. So I’d paid for a jumbo and not got it? Also was a can missing from the order. Overall, definitely will not be returning and I expect my £4.50 delivery fee back atleast.

East hull chippy is an absolute piss take if I could give it less then 1 star i would we placed an order at 4:15pm then told our delivery will be 5:40pm so good hour and 35min to cook and deliver, but no show at 6pm still so phoned up to be told they add an hour on so would be 6:40pm now but no mention of this on the app at all then got to 7pm no show still to be told it should be with you in few minutes as it's on the way, turned up at 7:14pm food is crap taste dry and like its been warmed up some still cold, 1 item missing 🤬🤬🤬 will never order from there again.

Best Hull pattie ever. Everything cooked fresh and piping hot, no crease. Perfect everytime. Staff all lovely and super helpful. Cafe area bright and beautifully decorated and always clean. An absolute gem of a chippy.

El pescado grande era una masa de masa con una astilla de pescado en ella, baja cantidad, alto precio. Solía ser bueno aquí, pero la calidad del pescado es de calidad inferior, sin excusas cuando se encuentra en el casco. Aunque vivimos cerca, visitaremos la costa en busca de pescado y patatas fritas.

Hermoso pescado y patatas fritas a precios muy justos! Las mejores empanadas de Hull. Preferimos cenar en el servicio es fantástico, muy personal de la tierra especialmente Jade, muy servicial y mi hija la ama!

It was nice but not the best chippy I have been too, staff was lovely though had a good laugh with them.

I always try places after bad experiences, id left a negative review previously, because honestly i was dissapointed with the food, .now removed. Ive visited east parkfor years ,dont usually have issies. I walked in to, what i can only describe as almighty shouting match between the female staff, didnt know which way to look. Funny thing is my wife said they was arguing last visit. Oh well. That said the server was fairly polite with us and helpful. Cannot not fault the food tonight,both fish was loverly, love the patty, chips were a bit luke warm, but i live five minutes drive away , so partly my fault. Yeah , loverly evening lunch. Faith in east park. chippy restored.

We've been here before and it was lovely, went again today and unfortunately it was a total let down. The fish was over cooked and mainly batter.

We have been twice to try as the reviews were so good but not for us, think they just get busy due to the location near park, wouldn't go again.

Just been tonight Haddock well tasty pattie well tasty .gravy was I'm afraid grim did ask for scraps either the lady didn't hear me or she thought this man's waist line doesn't need scraps turns out I prob didn't did notice that online prices didn't match what I paid and children meal didn't have the advertised toy I would eat there and recommend but would check recept and children meal box for toy grandson wasn't happy there was no toy

I’m visiting the city on a course, I’d seen the Facebook ads and decided to call in. Ordered Cheese and Onion Pattie , jumbo sausage and curry sauce. The pattie was absolutely delicious as was the sausage and curry. The staff are super friendly. I will definitely be returning, only wish I had a chippy as good close to where I live !

La primera vez que intentaron hacer un pedido telefónico me dejaron en espera durante 10 minutos y luego se rieron de mí ya que no sabía el nombre que contestó el teléfono. La segunda vez que hicieron un pedido por teléfono me lo leyeron para comprobar que era correcto. Cuando se entregó hacía frío y mal había pedido salchichas grandes y entregado pequeñas en cambio había pedido que se despellejaran todos los pescados, solo habían despellejado 2 pescados las patatas fritas algunas de ellas eran verdes y parecían haber sido desguazadas del fondo de la freidora. El pescado estaba seco y sobre cocinado muy decepcionante. La calidad parece haber bajado de lo que solía ser. Ha sido muy bueno en el pasado

Habíamos visto varias buenas críticas para esta tienda de patatas fritas así que decidimos probarlo anoche ya que estábamos en la zona. Utilizamos la cafetería / restaurante ya que el tiempo era tan frío. Estaba muy limpio y Jade nuestra camarera era tan encantadora y extremadamente amable. Tuvimos el Especial que incluía un pescado mediano, patatas fritas, lado, Pattie y elección de bebida - todo por £ 10. 50 cada uno. Jade preguntó si queríamos que las empanadas se llevaran a casa, pero decidimos intentar comerlas con nuestra cena: las porciones eran más que suficientes para que las lleváramos a casa ya que eran muy grandes. Incluso verificó cuánto tiempo recalentarlos en la freidora por nosotros. El pescado era delicioso - encantador y blanco con una masa crujiente perfecta. Las patatas fritas también eran muy buenas, así como los guisantes. Nada era grasiento y pesado. Sin duda volveremos aquí de nuevo cuando estamos en la zona y podemos recomendar encarecidamente

Precio excesivo y grasiento. No sé por qué la gente sigue volviendo a este lugar cuando el pescado está húmedo y de mal gusto, las patatas fritas siempre son sólidas como la roca y las empanadas son promedio. Todo está sobrevalorado.

Great fish and chips and some of the best patties in Hull

I got a battered burger so it took a long time, it’ll also be because it was busy, if it’s your first time trying then beware of the amount of batter and grease, the sausage butties and the burgers are stunning

How this place has gone from one of the best chippy’s to one of the worst in hull is beyond me I would have put zero stars if it let me. Had to get a medium haddock as they had no cod, the fish was about as thick as my card receipt and burnt wasn’t sure what they used for the chips weather it was potato or the bones they pulled out the haddock as they was as dry as the Sahara desert will definitely never be getting chippy tea from this establishment again

Went for a walk around East Park and then visited the East Park Chippy restaurant Excellent fish and chips warm environment and the waitress was very nice I was surprised how large the fish was for the price I would certainly recommend

¿Llamaste por teléfono para llevar pero el conductor de vacaciones no hizo entregas? Debes estar perdiendo el comercio. Muy mal servicio. Esta es la segunda vez que me defraudas. La última vez que el pescado sobre cocinado pidió guisantes. Nunca sucedió. Recibí una llamada diciendo que lo arreglaremos la próxima vez que me ofreciste una lata de pop gratis. ¿Ya había pagado por guisantes que no recibí?

Delivery service is a joke waited nearly 2 hours for two specials

We visited for takeaway whilst in Hull for the weekend as they catered for Gluten Free. I had GF fish and chips and decided to have the onion rings as well as it is a novelty to get GF options! My husband had a sausage supper and tried a Pattie Bite (we had no idea what they were! ). Our takeaway was so good we decided to return and eat in the restaurant on the Monday lunchtime before heading home. We both enjoyed a Pattie bites special lunch (I had GF cheese and onion) and enjoyed chatting with the staff who were very friendly. A visit to East Park Chippy will be a fixture on our itinerary each time we come back to Hull for sure.

Tamaño de porción muy caliente, sabroso y decente. Si requiere algún condimento solo pregunte. El lugar estaba muy limpio y ordenado. Instalaciones de aseo muy limpio también. Lo recomendaría.

Mi amigo y yo llamamos aquí el miércoles 11 de septiembre justo antes de las 12. Nos sentamos en una mesa cerca de la puerta. Esta fue nuestra primera visita. pronto nos dieron una cálida bienvenida muy amable por una camarera alegre creo que se llamaba Sandera. (Disculpe si me equivoqué) Ella fue muy útil explicando la junta especial. Optamos por guisantes con patatas fritas de pescado con un precio de pattie y bebida caliente gratis £ 10. 50 cada uno. El restaurante estaba impecablemente limpio. Nuestra comida pronto llegó y estaba caliente. Honestamente puedo decir que ambos pensamos que la comida era deliciosa y lo mejor que habíamos probado en mucho tiempo. El pescado fue cocinado a la perfección, grueso y una porción generosa. La comida aquí es excelente. Si no has estado aquí antes, entonces te lo estás perdiendo y te recomiendo encarecidamente que lo pruebes muy pronto. Definitivamente volveremos en el futuro. Love this place. I just feel let down because they don't deliver to HU7 Sutton.

This is usually amazing. But £11.35 for 3 chips and a bottle of vinegar for the chips to be OLD AND STALE like they had been sat in the tray for hours is just not good enough. You had a queue you should not be serving people stale old cold chips!

Really disappointed without tomightd order ,the chips have changed , the gravy is like glue and tastes like bisto and got cheese spam which was cold , I've always loved east park and had delivery a few times .but not for me with the changes

Changed the bank holiday to a meal instead!! Went to into the restaurant for amazing offer on a large fish special, brilliant priced, but most importantly the best fish had in a very long time, great service!!!

Absolutely amazing chippy. Staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help. Great gluten free menu which is fab as I'm coeliac. Generous portions and good value for money. I highly recommend East Park Chippy, try it for yourself, it won't disappoint 😀

I was here first time today and I am 100% happy. The food was so tasty. I was ordered with my husband fish and chips. Was so good, no oily like in most places, so delicious. The prices really low and the staff so friendly especially the lady in black long hair. Nice and clean inside. Thank you.

Foods gone right down on quality over past few months

The fish is the best in East Hull along with the portions. Even though they have a queue outside the door most days the service is fast and the women on the front are always having a laugh with customers! Feels very family friendly! Keep it up EPC

Absolutely fantastic place, the service is impeccable, and the food is ridiculously tasty, and at an amazing price, gluten or gluten free, the choice is yours, it's all delicious, (I recommend the gluten free curry)

Lovley fish n chips great staff

Called to check as the app is not very clear on whether fish comes with chips, didn’t even get to say thank you after my answer and she hung up the phone. £80 order gone.

Saw a food review of this place online. It didn’t disappoint! We went for the haddock and chips with their famous tatties and battered sausage. Served with curry sauce and gravy. As a Southerner, I had never had tatties before. They were unreal, they tasted like battered stuffing balls We were able to get a seat in the restaurant and served by the lovely Lou! She couldn’t do more to help us and gave us some tatties to take home and give the kids. If you’re up in Hull check it out! Great food and cheap 😊😊😊

we usually get takeaway from here and it’s always nice- sat in today and it was just as delicious. staff are delightful and atmosphere is great. my grandad complimented the food and was given free patties to take home :,) best in hull!!

Really poor food for money chips has been cooked twice minimum and for the price no sauces provided everything is extra apart from salt and vinegar scraps taste like literal fat nothing on pollards only went as Pollard's was too full never again avoid like the plague don't see the hype of this place service wasn't great neither

First time we tried here as seen on the internet it was an award winning fish and chips! But I am left very unhappy and hungry as the chips were not cooked properly might as well of eaten a raw potato and it was lukewarm, the fish had more skin than fish it’s self. We didn’t even want the skin on! Wasted £28 on somthing we had to put straight in the bin!

Really looked forward to this chippy tea, on a bank holiday. After returning home with fish and chips, pattie bites etc, couldn't wait to get tucked in. Opening the box, firsr thing to hit me, was how brown the pattie was, and where were the chips,!? I moved the fish, which looked nice I probably could of put the proper chips in my hand, the rest were scrappy looking things. Wasn't that many in the first place. Tried the pattie, the batter was rubbery, and the thing itself really oily. Couldn't eat most of that, first for me I'll tell you. I was given one of the pattie bites off our order ,and that was totally different, actually liked those. I ate what chips I had, leaving most of the scrappy ones. Couldn't get any worst surely, the fish looked nice, wrong!! The batter inside wasn't cooked through, Litterally had like a crispy batter with a soggy coating inside , wasn't nice, ended up eating the fish leaving the batter. Least the patty bites were okay and a decent portion of chips, with that order. Couldn't have a bigger difference in portion and quality . The wife said, we should of got a kebab, if only we had known! Says it all, we all agreed, real let down. Gone a bit south when it comes it's food since our last visit for sure.

When asking where my order was after quite a while waiting, the women who answered the phone, well do I dare say I’d have a better conversation with someone who’s been dug up, extremely rude! No customer service skills at all. Shame really. Foods warm and quite nice, not worth the rudeness really, I’d rather go to Karen’s diner if I wanted that personality.

I went today for Patty peas & chips, 1st lot of chips where cold, 2nd lot was slightly warmer but these chips was left from the afternoon and scraped from the bottom of the holder, scabby little chips totally disgusting, this is the 2nd time I have had this done to me. The fryer said the problem was that I had put vinegar on them (So had the vinegar shrunk them, then?) total joke, I Thought I would give them a 2nd chance, never again. I was not even offered a refund. If you want a top chip shop go to Beeford, 2 Bridlington Rd, Beeford, Driffield YO25 8AN, It is the best chip shop around

Living in Sweden it was my first port of call direct after landing at Manchester airport! Excellent friendly service from the best fryers in the business. Good size portions! Light and crispy batter on a lovely bit of haddock! Chips were chunky and perfect! A good consistency and nice flavour to there their curry sauce! An all round good experience! I can highly recommend this Chippy!

Ordered online at 5.05pm tonight for delivery that was booked for 6pm. Msg on the Chip Shops order said it would be 7pm….not happy but thought it’s Good Friday…no problem. 7.20 still no food so called them. 15 attempts later I got through to be told oh yeah yours is next out….even though the order tracker said the order was completed !!! I asked why & was sharply told ‘I don’t know’ then she hung up. Still waiting at 8pm I drove round with a view to getting my money back With about 30 people queuing I joined. Hubby at home…. Phone call from him at 8.40 to say it had arrived. No apology from them for the 3 1/2 hour + wait, cold congealed food. Will never go there again. Shame on you East Park Chippy. Rude staff & shody food.

Rang through order at 10am because it was Good Friday. Delivery was supposed to be at 6pm but arrived at 8pm and was cold. Chips were skitty and fish had skin on which I had asked to be skinned. No scraps also. Rang twice to chase up the delivery and was told that I was informed that it would likely be delivered at 7pm which I wasn't. If I had I would of asked for delivery at 5pm. Total waste of £35.

Fish was fresh, Pitty the batter was so so thick .chips were chips .won't go again as the grease kept repeating on us after half hr.shame ...seem friendly, There far better battered fish out there .

Awesome. My wife and grandson shared a large haddock and chips. The haddock was enormous, i don't think it was caught in a net it must've been harpooned 🤣. I had a spam fritter, the size of a house brick, and chips. The food quality was excellent. The service was quick and friendly. All for less than £15. To be honest there was enough food to feed 5 adults. Recommend 👍

Best chippy to go for Gluten Free fish, and now they’ve even added patties. They gave me a complimentary GF patty to try which tasted better than any patty I’ve had before, as well as providing amazing service, very friendly people.

My 100 year old father-in-law has just requested a plate of fish and chip. I went to the East Park Chippy where they made up his request (for just a small portion) freshly fried. He's eaten it all and says its one of the best fish and chips meals he ever had👍.

Delicious and huge fish 🙂. Chips are the best and patties are the fullest of flavour in hull. My mum and sister travel from the Cotswolds to take big batches of patties home with them because when they visit hull they start to crave them

We go in quite regularly and the customer service is amazing. The food is always fresh and is cooked perfectly. Went in today to eat in and was served by Janette who made us feel so relaxed and made sure we had everything we wanted. Service at its best 10/10 would recommend 👌

East Park Chippy is an excellent fish & chip shop. It's very clean, the staff are friendly and the food is top-notch. I called in today just for Patty and chips. The patties are absolutely gorgeous, probably my favourite, from any chip shop in Hull, so light and fluffy. The fish and chips are also very good. There is a nice restaurant if you want to eat in.

Had delicious fish and chips from here a while back so decided to have them again...wish I hadn't. The food was 25 minutes late, despite ordering and paying on the app and booking for delivery an hour in the future, I had to call them to ask where it was. The lady who answered the phone was perfectly nice, and I could hear in the background that they were busy...but she told me 4 times they had a driver down and didn't give an apology. When the food arrived, there was a can of pop missing. The food was lukewarm and had obviously been sat for some time as the chips were mostly stuck to the bottom of the box. The peas were mega hot tho! The fish was lovely, but could have been hotter. I ordered for delivery, as if I had have collected, by the time I had have walked home, the meal would have been cooler...I gained nothing and paid £3 for the privilege! I think having a 'plan b' for driver illness would be of much benefit to you...especially on a Friday evening. Sorry East Park Chippy, sadly its a thumbs-down from me :(
