my order did not turn up when I ordered it at 6.30 I rang them up the driver went to the wrong house I rang them again it was on the way I rang at 9pm said they delivered it and was closed we still not received it

food is horrendous and this is the only chip shop I have ever seen that doesn't put sauces in separate tubs

The delivery time was a little late but at least they let me know it was going to be delayed, and I guessed it would be busy.

The kebab and chips is real good with gravy, what spoiled it was when I ordered it for the second and last time, didn’t turn up

One of the best fish and chips i've had delivered in a VERY long time! Fish, chips, sausage and chicken bites all somehow still crispy on arrival, could be due to being a 15 minute drive from the place but either way - spot on and well done!

At this moment, it’s 20 minutes late and I haven’t received my food, the 5 stars on the quality was from the kebab I ordered yesterday, i do apologise if it wasn’t your fault

The food was lovely and for such a good price, chips were perfectly cooked and fresh, the fish was crispy but not burnt. The portion sizes were perfect especially for the price. Would definitely recommend.

Thought I'd try the patty for change from chips - it was not good, dry lumpy potato... and what tasted like some Indian spice!!! Not like any traditional patty I've had before ~ won't be making that mistake again!

Started going here 3 weeks ago got a fish and chips special £4.50 was beautiful good potion of chips and a lovely fish no bones just how I like it lovely lady served me most polite would highly recommend this place

Ready when we got there and we were there early. One of the fish was definitely stood a while. The sausage had batter only on one side. But itherwise ok

Fish was absolutely excellent. Full of flavour and was cooked to the perfect amount. Good portion of all food and good value for what you paid for. Will definitely be ordering again

the fish was very watery and tasteless. The batter was undercooked. We wont use them again

My partner and little lad whent there yesterday.the chips was chewy and hard.the fish wad small and disgusting.the sausage was unedable.totally disgusting place totally avoid going for everyone

I don't know in what world you call the sausage in your sausage special a sausage it was more like a meat ball in batter

I'm not sure you should put the pasta box in the microwave though, daughter was eating half of the box, suggest different packaging for that, otherwise lovely food

Highly recommend the home made chicken curry and chips. Everything was cooked, well pleased.

An absolute delightful fish and chip shop. The staff are really friendly and upbeat. I've only had chips there but they give a large portion and it's always warm, unlike some fish and chip shops where you get luke warm chips. Always love visiting them for a tray of chips every so often.

Absolutely awful prices are ridiculous probably worst chippy in Hull not a patch on Chalis Hessle Road

Second time order has had missing items. on calling the shop was met with poor customer service denying missing items and been called a lier. Clearly we must ring to complain just for fun after waiting over an hour for an incomplete Oder. Won't be using them again.

Got a fish chips from here for dinner was really looking forward to it gets back with my food and all of my chips had paper stuck to them and the fish was like eating mushed up baby food

Years ago this place used to be decent i always used to go before the football match. However, I’ve tried this place recently and it has dramatically gone downhill.

I would of given 5 stars, but the peas had no flavour, but would def buy from Viking again. The fish was white and tasty, and the chips plentiful

Good chips, curry sauce nice..

Large fish was missing from order which I am yet to receive a refund for. We always order from Viking as the food is always lovely and we never have any issues so hopefully this was a one off!

Lovely fish, chips a bit too greasy and tartar sauce disappointing but delivered so can't complain too much.

Went for fish and chips Saturday lunchtime, walked in the lady was on her phone texting..no problem, ordered fish and chips open, she popped chips in the smallest tray ever so when the fish went on it fell off, she proceeded to pick it up with her fingers😒 then asked me if I would like salt and vinegar, my fish fell again she picked it up with fingers, then picked it up high in the air to pop salt on my chips… by this time I declined the fish and chips as it had been fingered more times than enough bearing in mind she had been texting on her phone with the same fingers, phones being the muckiest things in the world..and the funniest thing the tongs were just next her..

Viking Fisheries. The best certainly in my area. Staff here are amazing. Fish cooked to order and is wonderful. The service is second to none. I love this place but dont visit as often as I used to owing to lifestyle changes.

The BEST fish and chips in the UK without any question. I travel all over the country for work and this is the best fish and chips anywhere I have had. Bring cash though as no card machine!

Definitely the best reasonably priced chippy in Hull and so far the only one I’ve found that doesn’t leave the skin on the fish - must be a Hull thing I’m from Leeds and it’s uncommon over there. Very friendly and efficient service and their £3.50 small fish and chips is almost the size of other places medium or standard portion.
