The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Always really helpful, and part of local community. Good is amazing. Over December 2023, January 2024, had fish and chips, fish bites, and potato scollops. Fish had lovely chunks of cod, as did the fish bites, and scollops were scrumptious, and everything, is such a bargain.

My partner and I ordered takeaway from here based on the 5* reviews. Huge mistake. I paid £18 for the below 'platter' and think the picture speaks for itself. Firstly, there were only scraps of fish including smoked salmon. The vegetable component was pretty sparse as well with two paper thin slices of avocado. The rolls did not come with any masago as promised, and cucumber was basically just the peel. Lastly, some of the sushi was wrapped in white cabbage. I am not sure if this is due to them running out of seaweed or their own -- ahem -- unique way of doing things, but at least specify on the menu. The spicy salmon rolls had no sriracha or indeed any spice. I'm not sure what the garnish of cold, flabby noodles was there for, either. I've never had such stale and bland sushi in my life. Thankfully UberEats have refunded me. I will not be returning, and suspect a lot of their reviews have been planted by their mates.

Love the concept of repurposing an old department store and the atmosphere is quirky and fun. Northern Soul food was delicious. Kedgeree was nicely spiced and full of tasty, fresh fish. Eggs Benedict with smoked mackerel - great and different combination. Good portions, good quality ingredients and excellent value for money.

Lovely but small portions for price, nice items to but in there like homemade jars of pickle, eggs etc looks nice , clean.. good service just pricy

order regularly from Good Fortune, chinese food is lovely, and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. They have a delivery service. The owners are very nice and helpful and the delivery staff are always cheery when they bring your food. Overall I really like the food at this take away, been ordering every week for years so very happy with it

Went as a birthday treat, it wasn't peak season and half an hour before the kitchen closed, so it was quiet, but the food was delicious. We even got an extra side free of charge as the kitchen was closing. Will definitely go again for a special occasion.

La primera vez que intentaron hacer un pedido telefónico me dejaron en espera durante 10 minutos y luego se rieron de mí ya que no sabía el nombre que contestó el teléfono. La segunda vez que hicieron un pedido por teléfono me lo leyeron para comprobar que era correcto. Cuando se entregó hacía frío y mal había pedido salchichas grandes y entregado pequeñas en cambio había pedido que se despellejaran todos los pescados, solo habían despellejado 2 pescados las patatas fritas algunas de ellas eran verdes y parecían haber sido desguazadas del fondo de la freidora. El pescado estaba seco y sobre cocinado muy decepcionante. La calidad parece haber bajado de lo que solía ser. Ha sido muy bueno en el pasado

It's been a while since I've had takeaway fish and chips. I'm always happy to wait whilst the fish is cooked fresh. The fish was well worth the wait. Really enjoyed it. A good portion of chips also. Will be back sooner than expected I reckon.

My family and I visited The Skyliner for our regular afternoon lunch of Fish and Chips which in all honesty is the best we have ever eaten. We were all pleased with the very generous portions and appreciated the great service from both Sam and Jade and also compliments to Callum the Fryer as the meal was delicious. The staff were even kind enough to order us our taxi as we were having problems getting hold of a cab company so all in all a very enjoyable visit.

Been here a few times. To be honest food is ok, however I came here today, got two mini fish specials to find a long black hair in it. Will never return.

I tried the buttered boneless fish and chips, it was delicious
