We always go to the leeds road one.always good fish and chips peas and curry sauce. The staff friendly and very clean shop

Last couple of visits have not been upto much. Food and service not as good as it was

Severed by shauna and Donna ; very happy with the food and professional attitude . Happy to serve and provide a good service . Thank you ladies we will be back again . Fish and chips on point . Ice cream was lovely too . Thank you again . Had a huge selection of drinks too .

Been to various different branches before... Ordered some fish fillet sandwiches, spicy chicken sandwiches, fiery fish sandwiches and some curry sauce Crispy fish fillet tasted lovely, spicy chicken sandwiches had a little spice to it and tasted There was nothing fiery about the fiery fish sandwiches, just some masala on the fish, nevertheless they was tasty. Have been today to mother Hubbard’s Leeds road. Order special fish and chips was decent size portion and also very good service. Will come back again. Staff was also helpful

The taste is great, the quantity is 5 stars. The price is higher than in similar places, but it is compensated by the taste, quality and quantity of the dish. I will come back here more often. I recommend

Slowest service ever!!!! Pre ordered my food and still took forever to receive it.

For a decent fish and chips I would recommend Mother Hubbard’s, food is halal, and they do things like stake pies, well worth the money. I would recommend the fish bites if you like the crispy batter!

Las peores picaduras de pescado que he tenido en mi vida... basura sobrante que ni siquiera era adecuada para un perro para comer, lo peor es que cuestan £ 8... mi familia nunca ha estado tan decepcionada con una comida para llevar. No había pescado en la masa, solo era pequeña, grasa, apareció trozos de masa que desafortunadamente tuve que alimentar a mis hijos porque tenían mucha hambre y no podían esperar a otro almuerzo. Nunca volveré a pedir pescado de esta vergonzosa tienda. Un completo desperdicio de dinero. ¡Si quieres comprar una caja llena de patatas fritas secas y grasas por 8 libras, asegúrate de comprar desde aquí!

Fish bites ordered but i received fish batter no fish inside the skinny little things...disgusting food.

Best fish I've ever had. The fish served here simply melts in your mouth. It's cooked with perfection. The batter is crispy, the fish is huge compared to other local fisheries and it tastes delicious. You get a decent portion of chips that come along with the fish. I'll definitely be trying these guys again.

The food is delicious. If you are seeking a unique succulent experience, I recommend trying their fiery range. The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance of the place is quite pleasant. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I believe you will enjoy it as well.

Bad experience tonight 😔🤮the fish was soggy mushy batter hate that - due to the unsatisfactory fish I turned to the dessert where the cake omg the fudge cake was stale it was like a rock and not eatable at all worst experience ever with this place

Shona and the lovely kareena were really nice and welcoming and I would definitely come again.

Visited recently and enjoyed two large fish and chips. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was exceptionally clean and well-managed. While the fish had too much batter and not enough meat for my liking, it still tasted nice. The chips were dry and crispy, though not as well-done as I'd prefer. Curry sauce and mushy peas were tasty, albeit in small portions. Despite a few minor points, I would recommend and will visit again.

Wanted to leave a review as I’m so impressed by the level of customer service from a staff member called Kareena. I’ve been in a couple of times recently and both times this particular staff member has gone out of her way to be friendly and provide excellent customer service. I had a problem with my order the first time I went and she resolved it so efficiently and was so happy to help. I believe that customer service is just as important as the food and she was definitely as great as the food! Looking forward to coming again and it’s down to Kareena :)

Mother Hubbard's is a fantastic place for fish and chips! The service is outstanding—friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. We come all the time, fish and chips is amazing as always . Everytime Kareena is working she is absolutely amazing. Fish is good and always fresh to order 👍. Chips aren't the best though and usually cold Service is always good and prompt I tend to just get the fish and go elsewhere if I need the chips on a larger order

Went to collect my food an instead got barked at by the lady working behind the counter/till. I respectfully asked her co worker, if I had placed an order over the phone then how do I collect my order, an in response I got yelled at for not already mentioning that I came to collect my order. I was utterly confused as I had only just arrived and on my first opportunity I asked how to proceed. Management needs to address this behaviour of their staff as I myself have a business across the road from here and will never be returning. You’re only selling Fish and chips what’s the tension all about, do you not pay your staff? I didn’t want to create a scene in a busy place with such an inconsiderate person so I took my order and left.

What ever you have done to the curry sauce please go back to the old way what we have just had tasted like a mixture of gravy, Chinese curry sauce and normal curry sauce please change back to the original recipe

Fantastic service. Zenib kept me entertained and had a lovely smile on her face when I walked in. She was very respectful and helpful and made sure everything was on point. Have to say her personality does make the shop bright. Great food and service.

Good fish and chips, but the picture of the meal shows that there is a drink included with your meal. Upon ordering your food, you will realize that you do not have any drinks. The picture is totally misleading and the management needs to address it, in my opinion.

Fish and chips is no longer a cheap meal. I got one portion of fish, chips, mushy peas and a can of pop and one portion of fish bites, chips and a can of pop. This was over £20.00. Plus there's a very limited choice of pop - no coke or pepsi. Quite disappointing really.

Lots of hype about this place. However, I was quite disappointed with the fish. We ordered a large cod and chips. Took over 30 minutes to receive the take out order. The place was clean and bright lighting. Don't think I would go to this place again.

This is the best fish and chips within central Bradford. The Halal menu is great, and the sharebox is very good. The service can be slow when it's busy, but that's because everything is made to order. The new chicken options are great, too. Parking can be an issue at busy times. The staff are very friendly.

Las patatas fritas no estaban frescas y los guisantes no estaban calientes y cuando nos dimos cuenta nos cobraron de nuevo por los guisantes. No me divertí en absoluto.

Usually come to mother Hubbard and yes at times they can be extremely busy and you may have to wait and other times quick all depends on timing the staff are always great here mainly but yoy can get the odd 1 in there franchises bit overall good experience and happy so come visit gove them a try and give you feedback Thx all And hope to try and upload more pics 📸

Ordered a fish and chips as we have had a few times before, very surprised to get a large fish (which is very nice) but only a handful of chips? Previously the box would be overflowing! Very dissatisfied, especially as the price has increased, afraid we won't be returning.

I thought I would treat my good friend to some fish and chips and so we decided to go to mother Hubbards on Ingleby road I was expecting a delicious fish and chips meal but unfortunately the chips were rubbery as it seemed they had been sat in the oven for too long or had been reheated They didn’t taste freshly made at all The fish was ok but overall I didn’t fully enjoy my meal with my friend so I have to give a 3 star I hope management will take my comments on board constructively and improve their quality next time Otherwise I might as well use one of the other many fish and chip shops who make everything fresh there and then !! And who are much cheaper!!

Went for their famous Palestine box, good quantity of chips, spicy chicken burger and fish burgers were nice, got chicken tenders and extremely dry wings, no masala fish or drinks as advertised.

Excellent Service and great, caring staff. One of the staff members called Zenib, was absolutely wonderful. She was full of manners, great personality, caring and gave respect to each and every customer، ensuring each and every customer was 100% satisfied with their orders. Loved my service here. Definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends ❤️

I ordered over 60 lots of fish & chips for an employment appreciation day which is a huge order! I dealt with a fab lady called Shona who helped me sort out the order & arrange collection at a specific time. Nothing was too much trouble and when I collected everything was already packed along with all the necessary cutlery and names on boxes of who ordered what (some people wanted other meals). Shona made sure everything was present and correct and they were still piping hot when I got them back to work. Amazing customer service from, especially Shona, and the rest of the team at Mother Hubbard’s in Bradford. Thank you !!! They were delicious!
