Got two fish and chips for me and my wife we absolutely loved it The portion sizes are spot on all maid fresh for the order can’t complain for the price staff are lovely best fish and chips I’ve ever had by far.

Usually really rate Parade fisheries, always lovely well cooked fish and chips, great value, efficient and friendly service. However, ordered tonight and was disappointed, my 11 year old asked where the rest of her chips were. Normally a small Mushy peas could be shared between 2 of us and a large curry between 4 of us, tonight served half of that, and when the peas were poured from the tub they fell out whole with a thud. Still amazing taste and friendly service. I appreciate inflation, however a price increase as well less product

Usually great but this time we were extremely disappointed with the portion sizes, don't know what's happened but due to that, the portion sizes certainly aren't worth the cost. Shame.

Food was prepared fresh and fast the staff were polite and friendly will be going back again and would recommend to a friend

I ordered from here last week and I can honestly say it was the best fish and chips i have had in a very long time. Everything was cooked fresh to order and the portion sizes were very generous. Definitely good value for money and very tasty food.

Tried Parade Fisheries for the first time this evening. We had been looking for a nice fish and chip shop and this one didn't disappoint. It certainly lives up to its reviews. Lovely fish and crisp batter and, most importantly, not stingy on the chips portions. Really enjoyed it!

Well I wish I could review the food, ordered online showing that they were open till 7. Paid for the food and when we went to pick up they were actually closed!!!

Popped back to Cottingley tonight to watch switch on, had fish and chips while waiting and both delicious but particularly the fish, crispy batter, lovely white fish. My husband enjoyed the fish and cake I took home for him too, not on doorstep but would go again. Staff friendly too

Wet and windy, perfect for a chippy. Was sat in the car waiting and spotted this place, asked for fish and chips in veg oil, cooked fresh and a can of pop for under £10. Good services and nice yummy fish chips and mushy, happy tummy!

waited over 5 minutes for a portion of chip will not ever go there again served customers came in after they left before not good at all if ur cooking it fresh I do suggest you tell the customer that so the no there’s a wait

Only one word to describe the fish and chips here, and that's OUTSTANDING!!! Beautiful tasty white flaky fish, in a light but crispy batter!!! Not only the best locally, but hands down the nicest iv ever eaten!!! Finally "seaside" fish and chips cooked to perfection on my doorstep,, I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Don't hope for the best HAVE the best, vista the parade in cottingley, you won't be disappointed.

Ordered fish and chips fish came raw then they sent me another fish and dose not taste the best wouldn’t order from here and won’t be ordering again.

One of my regular visits that I make to Parade Fisheries every few weeks or so. I must admit that I do not eat fish and I always go for a battered sausage and spam fritter. The food is always cooked to order. They serve a nice portion of chips, the sausage and spam is always nice. They also offer scraps to be added to your order.

First time visited, service was amazing, staff were very welcoming. I asked for my fish to be cooked in vegetable oil (halal) and amazingly it was the first day they had this service available for those who may have dietary needs. Unfortunately forgot to ask the names of the staff who served me. Fish was delicious and crunchy. Thank you

Some of the best fish and chips I have had, easy parking outside, friendly helpful staff. Resnable prices (slightly cheep side of reasonable) the batter complements the fish which isn't dry like other chipies, an overall enjoyable experience and meal.

Food is cooked to order, you can be stood around for a while. Personally, not a fan of this chippy :/ Advertised as healthier fish & chips? But always find these will repeat on you for a good few hours. Guess you gotta try them to make your own mind up

This has become my regular saturday lunch spot now. Absolutely lovely, nice and crisp and fresh not greasy at all plus they use proper butter on their t cakes which makes a whole load of difference. Highly recommend!

Fantastic service, fish fried to order and quality is excellent. Bread cakes buttered with real butter, shop is squeaky clean.

I use this chip shop occasionally and always have had a good experience and just thought it was time to review it. In my opinion it is the best chip shop in the area and well worth a visit. It is very clean. The food is always good and the staff are always nice and polite. Anyone who wants fish and chips should go here first and make their own minds up and I'm sure you would agree its the best chip shop around.

Despite this establishment portraying many awards we found the fish to be thin and falling apart when you tried to eat it. A fishmonger tells me the fish used must have been from haddock that were in breeding session as the quality of the fish flakes is not firm and textured compared to non in breeding session haddock. The batter was pale and not crispy either. However the chips were fine and the cakes/scones were of a good size and tasted good.

Me and my family love it here. The owner of the shop always chats to us. He is always smiley and polite. His staff are the same. The boxes they use are the best ever they keep the food nice and crispy and they are good for the planet. The shop is immaculate. The fish and chips are beautiful. They also have chip spice to use. The fishcakes are sublime! He uses actual filler of fish not the usual minced fish you usually find with other chips. The sauces are all delicious. Honestly give this place a try you wont be dissapointed.

Good tasting fish! Takes ages to get served though as they make the fish to order. Unfortunately the staff on the counter seem to struggle with basic orders. I have ordered several times, and would recommend checking your order before you leave.

Since we've moved to Cottingley 6 years ago, this place has changed hands a number of times but over the past year or so, has been under the same new ownership. In my opinion, he has brought it from strength to strength, introducing information to the customers about where they source their ingredients from, loyalty cards, recyclable packaging, and of course, most importantly, the fish and chips are very good. A nicely cooked fish of a decent size, not dripping in fat like you might get in some places, and perfectly cooked chips. You can rely on them too because it is cooked by the same person (presumably the owner) every time. There are also plenty of other choices available too. I used to go to two other chip shops in Bingley but I'll chose this one every time now.

Really good fish and chips. Fish all cooked to order so no manky warm ups or chewy batter. As said previously the fish are not massive but it's a case of quality over quantity. Genuinely friendly staff It's a shame it's tucked away in cottingley but hopefully word of mouth will bring people from elsewhere too. The Irish curry sauce is amazing too 😁

Wow.. seriously good fish and chips

Lunchtime visit, as already said the batter is light and crisp, however the ‘fillet’ of fish was very thin (is it possible to slice a fillet in half?), but tasted nice. Overpriced for size of fish.

Absolutely fantastic, really light crispy batter on a large flaky and moist, piece of Icelandic Haddock, crispy on the outside fluffy in the middle chips. Not the first time we've been and won't be the last. Well worth a visit 👍

The fish is cooked to perfection, again. The size of the portions are great and easily feed a family of 5 on just 2 large fish and chips.

Good customer service the food could be better should open on a Sunday and a Monday as i know people like to go on them days
