Sea Fish in Doncaster

Was the only punter in the shop but still took 15 minutes for my order to be ready. I ordered a small fish and sausage special. Didn’t get asked if I wanted a battered or unbattered sausage. The order was also plated up in the box backwards with the fish at the bottom. Then the sauce then the chips. Where I usually come from a decent chippy has specials flying out and your in and out the shop quicker than the shampoo is in and out your hair. Been here 3 times now and is like this every time. I wouldn’t recommend the plaice.

Superb little restaurant very friendly staff, terrific food, always a pleasure coming here. Prices very reasonable. Great service from Lucy very attentive and friendly. Be back again soon .

Me and my family come for fish and chips , we were served by Helena and received excellent service aswell as delicious food

I loved the sticky toffee pudding and is a great place for this and much more. The price is reasonable and is worth it for the quality of food and the members of staff.

We went here today with the in-laws that had popped down to see us. The first time in here to be fair and was pleasantly surprised at how cosy the settings were. The atmosphere was also very relaxed. The service from Helena and Ed was impeccable and the food was amazing. Fish batter was crispy and now greasy. We were very impressed and will definitely be making a return journey soon. Well done and keep up the good work, very impressed !

Always reliable! - lovely fish and chips served in a galleon style restaurant overlooking Conisborough castle. Lots of food options from grills and burgers to an extensive fish menu. A strong gin list! Polite service.

We went this afternoon had 2 regular cod and chips, mince pie and chips & a small fish and chips. Came piping hot and everyone enjoyed them. Well done to the waitress who seemed to be working front of house by herself. Great service by her, no fuss just made sure everything was as we needed.

We didn't have much time so went to the takeaway. Fish was cooked to order and the chips were fresh. Really excellent.

I had a great experience at Seafish Restaurant, which has a wide variety of menu options and plenty of seating available. Lucy and Isla provided excellent service, checking in about allergies and ensuring we were comfortable, which made us feel very welcome. We ordered the tempura torpedo, seafood platter, fish pie, and Alabama chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, with generous portion sizes, though the seafood platter felt a bit pricey and the dessert presentation could have been better. While the menu mentioned a 15-minute wait for food, it took longer despite the restaurant not being busy, but overall, the food and service were excellent, and I’d visit again!

Went to Seafish restaurant today with friends. I had the fish pie and it was the best fish pie I've ever had, full of big chunks of fish and a really big portion, definitely worth the money. Can't wait to go back, going to be a regular place to go 😊

Delivery Service is terrible. I Placed my order this evening at 17.44pm via Foodhub. I phoned up the restaurant at 19.13pm to find out how long it would be. My food finally arrived at 19.27pm. Almost 2 hours After the order. I only live 1.3 miles away from the restaurant but I have a broken leg and no one to drive me. Why offer a food delivery service if you are going to take this long. Clearly it happens a lot looking at the other reviews about delivery. Chips were not great tonight either, they probably bagged them up at 18.00pm but left them on the side, that's how they tasted anyway.

Went today with my girls from work for a birthday celebration.... Wow the food was absolutely amazing. Service was fabulous. The place in perfect... Bottle off bubbly waiting for us. We would definitely recommend.. 100 %

Popped in off the motorway and what an exceptional find. Lucy was lovely and all the staff pleasant, we had mushroom soup, ocean platter and over 60 - fish and chips. Extensive gin selection and we were celebrating our new grandson xx

We are regular visitors of sea fish and it didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing, generous portion sizes, flavoursome fish and I would still say this is the best place for a chippy tea in the UK. Really good service from Ben and his colleagues. He accommodated for a nut allergy in our party and even the strange request from my partner for cheesecake and custard (which is really good). The only recommendation would be to turn the heating up a bit as there was a bit of a draft from the main entrance.

The order was due to be delivered between 18:25 and 18:45 after ordering at 5:15. The food arrived just after 8pm with items from the order missing.

Great choice on the menu, service was great and the restaurant has a good atmosphere. Will definitely return.

What a brilliant sit in Fish and Chips restaurant, with a bar serving decent beers. Turned up without reservation and we managed to get a nice table, the food was brilliant, fresh, and not greasy and the mushy peas and gravy where just right. Definitely 10/10 on food and service, with Special thanks to Helena for serving the top fish and chips and supplying our fine pints of theakstons and looking after us. Thanks, will be seeing you again

A nice seafood restaurant that I, my wife and friends visited. The lay out and ambience was nice, the food we had was cooked well and tasty I had the seafood platter which I can recommend, my wife had different dishes and all ate and enjoyed. The only downside was three meals were brought out and we had to wait a while for the fourth, we also thought the cutlery should come out with the meal. Overall I will try this place again and I hope the hiccups are just a one off.

Ordered food at 5:05pm. Food said it would come at 6:15-6:35. It didn’t arrive, so we called the restaurant at 7pm. Said it was just being packed and it’ll be straight on its way. We live 5 minutes drive from the restaurant. The food still hasn’t arrived at 7:30pm so had to call again. It finally arrived at 7:35pm and it was cold. It arrived very late and cold.

The best fish and chips in Yorkshire. The fish is always fresh and the batter is a work of art. It’s also really well priced

We paid £3.40 for 2 cans of cocacola and got Pepsi, which we do not like.

Enjoyed fish n chips take away from here this weekend. I had haddock and my partner had cod. The haddock was really lovely but the batter on the cod was a little oily. Chips were decent.

For years 5 star quality but today 11th December 2024, no knocking on door, left food on my front garden bench and my front garden gate left wide open. App said delivered. I said WHERE'S MY FOOD I'M STARVING... looking outside and it was on G Bench!!

Last time I ordered half the order was missing but after I phoned them they sent out the missing items straight away. However, tonight yet again I had a missing Breadcake missing from my order and I can’t be bothered to ring them yet again. So I won’t be ordering anymore as I’ve no desire to keep getting missing items with every order.

We were at the restaurant on Friday, we dogothere every time we visit our friend. The food is excellent and the two ladies Shauna and Helena were excellent hosts even though they were very busy as the place was packed. So thank you for an excellent meal in comfortable surroundings.

This was our second visit, we came back because the food was good. Our first time round we went for two courses, sadly they forgot the deserts and had given the one I had chosen to someone else, they were apologetic and did refund us. Yesterday we booked, came in on time, were seated then waited half an hour without any drinks before I asked if we could order, once we ordered drinks arrived and we only waited 20 minutes for our food. We were asked what sauces we wanted, another 10 minutes passed before I had to get up again to ask for sauces and bread and butter. We had also asked for separate bills but it had been put on one, which was rectified at the till. Again I must caveat this by saying the food was faultless, the service however was awful and I think if we come again it’ll be take away.

Wonderful place to get a fish and chips. The restaurant is clean, staff is welcoming and fish amd chips is hot and fresh. They have a huge selection of of sauces to go pefect with the chips. 5 out of 5 .

Arrived for an early Sunday lunch today.Excellent value 3-course lunch.Bowled over by the brilliant standard and presentation of the food and we were served very attentively by Lucy.We have been several times in the past but it was never better than today.

Brilliant fish, chips & peas. Crispy chips on outside, soft on inside. Light batter on fish, tasty peas. Not greasy, will be back again

They did not deliver the chicken. They said you would refund it when I phoned them today. The order was delivered on Monday the 18th.

although our order was late the food was excellant as always. The driver apologised for the delay. i also tecieved a refund to my bank which has confused me . The service from Sea Fish is always excellant and vety unusual for them to be late. wont stop me from using them again.

We were going to go for takeaway, but on spur of moment decided to visit restaurant - which turned out to be an excellent decision. Niamh & Helena were outstanding in their manners and efficiency. They took out orders in good time and did check in on us without being over bearing. The food was as ever, first class, served with a smile - so glad we came and we will come again

Absolutely shocking service. Over an hour and half late. To be told they shut at 9 and it was the last order to go out. Shocking food. And all cold!!

Wasn't busy when we visited but food was really nice I had cod chips peas bread butter tarta sauce . From the pensioners deal as I'm over 60 . Good meal not like some places were they do this but give you a very small portion . So I'd definitely recommend this restaurant really nice . It's a 10 from me and my wife

Lovely food, everything was warm and cooked nicely, partner said it's the best takeaway burger he's had. Was abit late but it is a nightmare to find my house. Missing a can of pop, refunded straight away. Overall happy.

Amazing value for money, Had the haddock and it was huge so make sure your hungry 😂 still managed a dessert though and was recommended the lemon cake by Helena she was lovely aswell as the food and service, looking forward to comming back x
