Great food, good service and nice place to eat and catch up with friends.

Popped in off the motorway and what an exceptional find. Lucy was lovely and all the staff pleasant, we had mushroom soup, ocean platter and over 60 - fish and chips. Extensive gin selection and we were celebrating our new grandson xx

We are regular visitors of sea fish and it didn’t disappoint. The food was amazing, generous portion sizes, flavoursome fish and I would still say this is the best place for a chippy tea in the UK. Really good service from Ben and his colleagues. He accommodated for a nut allergy in our party and even the strange request from my partner for cheesecake and custard (which is really good). The only recommendation would be to turn the heating up a bit as there was a bit of a draft from the main entrance.

What a brilliant sit in Fish and Chips restaurant, with a bar serving decent beers. Turned up without reservation and we managed to get a nice table, the food was brilliant, fresh, and not greasy and the mushy peas and gravy where just right. Definitely 10/10 on food and service, with Special thanks to Helena for serving the top fish and chips and supplying our fine pints of theakstons and looking after us. Thanks, will be seeing you again

A nice seafood restaurant that I, my wife and friends visited. The lay out and ambience was nice, the food we had was cooked well and tasty I had the seafood platter which I can recommend, my wife had different dishes and all ate and enjoyed. The only downside was three meals were brought out and we had to wait a while for the fourth, we also thought the cutlery should come out with the meal. Overall I will try this place again and I hope the hiccups are just a one off.

The best fish and chips in Yorkshire. The fish is always fresh and the batter is a work of art. It’s also really well priced

Went to Seafish for a family before Christmas. Food was beautiful as always and the service from Ed and Lucy was top notch. Will definitely be back.

Nice place to eat, scampi was fresh, all come out hot. Was good food. Service getting seated was very slow. Wasn't busy but 1 person only working. But was polite and did apologise. Made up for nice food

Enjoyed fish n chips take away from here this weekend. I had haddock and my partner had cod. The haddock was really lovely but the batter on the cod was a little oily. Chips were decent.

Last time I ordered half the order was missing but after I phoned them they sent out the missing items straight away. However, tonight yet again I had a missing Breadcake missing from my order and I can’t be bothered to ring them yet again. So I won’t be ordering anymore as I’ve no desire to keep getting missing items with every order.

We were at the restaurant on Friday, we dogothere every time we visit our friend. The food is excellent and the two ladies Shauna and Helena were excellent hosts even though they were very busy as the place was packed. So thank you for an excellent meal in comfortable surroundings.

This was our second visit, we came back because the food was good. Our first time round we went for two courses, sadly they forgot the deserts and had given the one I had chosen to someone else, they were apologetic and did refund us. Yesterday we booked, came in on time, were seated then waited half an hour without any drinks before I asked if we could order, once we ordered drinks arrived and we only waited 20 minutes for our food. We were asked what sauces we wanted, another 10 minutes passed before I had to get up again to ask for sauces and bread and butter. We had also asked for separate bills but it had been put on one, which was rectified at the till. Again I must caveat this by saying the food was faultless, the service however was awful and I think if we come again it’ll be take away.

Wonderful place to get a fish and chips. The restaurant is clean, staff is welcoming and fish amd chips is hot and fresh. They have a huge selection of of sauces to go pefect with the chips. 5 out of 5 .

Arrived for an early Sunday lunch today.Excellent value 3-course lunch.Bowled over by the brilliant standard and presentation of the food and we were served very attentively by Lucy.We have been several times in the past but it was never better than today.

Brilliant fish, chips & peas. Crispy chips on outside, soft on inside. Light batter on fish, tasty peas. Not greasy, will be back again

They did not deliver the chicken. They said you would refund it when I phoned them today. The order was delivered on Monday the 18th.

Food wasn’t the best. A bit soggy, which I guess you have to take into account The drive time but just tasted a little budget. Not worth £16 with Delivery.

The only reason I marked this place down is that it was quite cold. And they should put the heating on.

We were going to go for takeaway, but on spur of moment decided to visit restaurant - which turned out to be an excellent decision. Niamh & Helena were outstanding in their manners and efficiency. They took out orders in good time and did check in on us without being over bearing. The food was as ever, first class, served with a smile - so glad we came and we will come again

although our order was late the food was excellant as always. The driver apologised for the delay. i also tecieved a refund to my bank which has confused me . The service from Sea Fish is always excellant and vety unusual for them to be late. wont stop me from using them again.

Helena provided a fantastic service tonight. She catered for all our needs and was so polite. It made out the dining experience really good. To be fair I keep going back because the food is good but the staff are great. The Christmas menu was superb. The steak was cooked perfectly. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. 😎

Absolutely shocking service. Over an hour and half late. To be told they shut at 9 and it was the last order to go out. Shocking food. And all cold!!

Excellent fish supper. Supplied quickly by friendly staff. Made even better as those pesky deliveroo and uber drivers had to wait inline like the test of us. Food was lovely, shop was immaculately clean, staff polite and efficient

Wasn't busy when we visited but food was really nice I had cod chips peas bread butter tarta sauce . From the pensioners deal as I'm over 60 . Good meal not like some places were they do this but give you a very small portion . So I'd definitely recommend this restaurant really nice . It's a 10 from me and my wife

Lovely food, everything was warm and cooked nicely, partner said it's the best takeaway burger he's had. Was abit late but it is a nightmare to find my house. Missing a can of pop, refunded straight away. Overall happy.

Food was brilliant, the server Helena was very accommodating and joyful. Plenty of parking spaces on site and a cosy atmosphere. Overall a great experience, would recommend 👌

Amazing value for money, Had the haddock and it was huge so make sure your hungry 😂 still managed a dessert though and was recommended the lemon cake by Helena she was lovely aswell as the food and service, looking forward to comming back x

Ridiculous over 2 hours after order and still waiting

Delivery did not arrive, bogus story about knocking on the door and no answer yet when asked why if they had actually arrived why they didn't leave it outside and was informed that they wouldn't do that... claimed they had called several times and spoke to someone, I have no missed calls on my phone and can prove it. Avoid this place.

slow delivery, and food isn't as good as it used to be. It was always a lovely meal from here... not sure what's happened, but quite disappointed with food in last few deliveries.

We called in on Sunday for lunch 2ish and was pretty quiet but nice, the service was good the server was nice and polite. Our food was cooked to order and was most delicious. In all honesty the only thing that let it down was the very small cups , But hey nothing is perfect. Would we go again,, Most definitely.

Normally have a great experience here but unfortunately yesterday this wasn't the case. I placed an order for collection, got a notification to say the order was ready just as I arrived. Staff said they were bagging it up, out came another order which they thought was mine but it wasn't, yet they didn't check with me and 30 mins later I had to ask if mine was ready. I got my order home and the chips were hit and miss some were still hard and not cooked throughly. Usually great but not this time.

Food was excellent, fish flaky n fresh, peas delicious, chips cooked to perfection. However tartare sauce is the worst I've ever had. I'm assuming bought in. So if it wasn't for that 5 stars. I'd say 4.8 would be fair.

Had a great meal here, I had the Chicken burger which was 10/10 and the Mrs had fish and chips which was spot on you could tell the fish was fresh it was really tasty! Also credit to the service staff Ben, Farrell and Elena they were very friendly and attentive, will definitely be visiting again.

Enjoyed a delicious meal with my partner. Cod was delicious and service was exceptional thanks to Ben and Elena! Ended the meal with a delicious trifle and it was the perfect end to dinner.

We went here with my brother and sister in law who had been several times and said it was really good. They weren't wrong the fish and chips were very tasty and not at all greasy. We had the pensioners special which was very good value and plentiful. We were served drinks by Ben who was very prompt efficient and Helena who took our orders brought us out food and was very friendly and also efficient both of them tidying away plates surplus glasses etc. I would definitely go again and recommend it to other family and friends 10)10 food,service and decor/ambience.

Tilly & Lucy gave exceptionally good customer service, polite & attentive throughout. The food was amazing, the fish pie I ordered was big enough for 2 at least, boxed up my leftovers for my dinner tomorrow. My son had the tuna steak which he said was fresh & well prepared. Will definitely be returning.

Really nice fish & chips. No grease, fresh light batter, still hot on delivery and they are nice chunky chips. Pay a little more than other chippys but it's worth it.

Lovely food..gorgeous bit pricey bit worth it..Just a shame the waiting service was poor. It was not that busy, but had to chase up to get our bill..( table that came in after us were seen to us beforehand) and our plates were not cleared, ended up stacking them myself and putting them on table next to us..!had a server but she seemed to wander off..its a shame coz its a lovely nevertheless I recommend for food to eat in (if u don't mind waiting) or take away..

Driving 45 minutes out of Sheffield to Sea Fish was well worth the drive. There is plenty of free parking, the take away shop in front is superb and the restaurant is highly recommendable. We were a party of 8 and we tried a good variety of dishes on the menu. All were excellent. I personally recommend the Texas hamburger, another dish ordered had a good variety platter of meats. The desert menu was just what anyone would want to round off a great meal. The chips and onion rings at the Sea Fish were perfect, freshly cut and fried in fresh oil, not like a majority of chip shops we know around Sheffield that cost cutting using old oils. The burgers were so good I ordered an extra one to take home, as can be seen in one of the photos. The bar counter has a wide variety of excellent choices.

Has to be the best fish and chips for miles. Beats Whitby's hands down.. We travel from the other side of Doncaster because it's worth it 😀

Six of us shared an overdue catch up in this lovely restaurant. Seating and surroundings were extremely conducive to allow us to chatter overall well priced well serve tasty meal. Haddock was particular good and superbly cooked in a light batter with all of us choosing an array of the sides on offer. Service from the attentive staff was exceptional with Helena particularly helpful, friendly and most importantly, professional in sorting out six different choices of drinks, meals and coffees! Thank you to everyone there for making our get together a fun evening.

Excellent early evening meals celebrating two birthdays. Staff (Lucy, Ben, Tilly and Elena) very helpful and attentive. Fish and chips excellent as always, pensioner meals very good value and staff went out of their way to provide a special meal for one of our party with dietary requirements. Highly recommended.

The best fish and chips I've had in south Yorkshire, always dined in the restaurant, lovely setting, lovely food.

Still cracking food as usual… app needs attention as not been accepting Apple Pay for last couple of months…. Good take away and restaurant. I have used both. Handy being able to place order over the phone. There is an app which has been inoperative in recent months, which has been mentioned to the staff.
