Spent Mothers Day celebrating with family wonderful food, lovely staff, great atmosphere and by far one of the best value menus. Highly recommended been previously for restaurant service and takeaway always delicious, thank you

Lovely place with great food. Three of us ate a variety of seafood meals. Service from Summer was excellent. Will definitely be back.

As always, the food was excellent and the food service from Niall was fantastic. This is my go to for fish and chips in the area, whether it be dining in or takeaway.

Great fish and chips as usual. What made today’s visit stand out were the friendly staff. Nial and Helena made our night. Nial especially was full of fun. Both were a credit to the restaurant.

My husband and I went for Sunday dinner, I had the salmon and he went for cod, the meal was lovely with great chips, staff were friendly and helpful not bad prices, we will be going again.

My partner and I went to Seafish on Valentine’s Day, they were serving a set menu, 3 courses for £56 including a bottle of wine, which I think is amazing value. The portion sizes were very good, the quality was to a high standard, staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. I would definitely recommend!

Nice food but I had mine delivered, large fish and chips but it seems I only got half a potion of chips. I think most people would expect a few more chips for £11. Usually better but disappointed this time around.

Fish and chips cooked the way it should be . Tasty fresh fish cooked in traditional batter. Light and crispy served well drained. Not still full of cooking oil like other places . Chips are Spot on . Crispy but fluffy inside. Reminds me of my childhood when local chip shops took pride in there food.

Ok shame that the girls can be a bit slow at time ... The big problem is Just eat guys park right outside, so if your in a van or truck or a lorry you can't stop.

I ordered fish pie. It contained so little fish, very very disappointed. My friend had spare ribs, very few served, and lukewarm. Coffee served from espresso machine was a spoonful of nescafe. What a joke.

We love going to Sea Fish to eat in, but, they never complete our order. We always order tea and bread and butter with our meal, but they never remember to bring them, usually we have to remind them after they've brought our fish and chips, tonight we got the bread after a quick reminder but not the tea, we told them 3 times in total to us serve tea, but we never got it, so we gave up and made tea when we got home.

Food generally to a good standard if eating in or collecting. However their delivery service is shocking, always takes an age to arrive. Your told it is due in an say an hour yet turns up way way after this time with no delivery tike update, call or notification about delays. This isn't a one off and has happened several times with their delivery service. Sort it out.

We normally order food from here because the food is great and really fresh. However wer are normally not to happy that fish and chips takes over an hour to arrive, however today really took the piss with a 2 hour delivery time. This is completly out of order and something really has to he done about their delivery service.

Awful fish and chips (takeaway). Early evening take out. Bought for family of 3. Chips were brown, hard and tasted like they had been refried or re heated. Most of the chips had green or black bits in the potatoes and were luke warm. Left a greasy layer on roof of mouth after eating. Fish was watery, tasteless and slimy inside batter. Very disappointing. The best bit was the mushy peas! Response to Kieron (Manager's) reply. Dear Kieron, I understand you wonder if this is a 'Fake' review, but I can assure you it is not. I usually leave reviews annonymously, however as a local life long member of the Conisbrough community, who has used your take away a number of times, I felt so strongly about this that I needed to leave this review with my name. I am very disappointed with your response, to a genuine concern. The quality of your take away fish and chips has been deteriorating over the past year, that it has finally pushed me to leave a review.

Service was terrible long wait for food and even longer for drinks and coffee. Very dissatisfied especially as it was not busy.

I went to the takeaway. The staff were friendly and the food was ok. The portion sizes are about right.

As a couple of fortunate pensioners we like to eat out reasonable regularly and this restaurant is now one of our regular haunts The choices on the menu are extensive. The food we have, I would call simple and wholesome and that is what we order and get We have enjoyed the pensioner's specials. The fish and chips are wonderful, lovely white fish and cracking chips We are always attended to quickly, drinks come fast and the food follows on at a nice pace The steak and kidney pie plus chips, peas and gravy is one of my favourites Our waitress was Georgia, pleasant, efficient and happy to help

Fabulous fish and chips. Can't fault the quality, price and service. In particular we'd like to mention Shaunnah who went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our Christmas Eve afternoon session. Well done to all. We'll certainly be back for more! 😍

Wife and I are new to area so decided to try to find somewhere decent to eat. On arrival we were greeted and order taken I ordered steak special meal I requested it to be very well done and burnt(most places I have to send it back as the chief's definition of burnt somewhat varies from mine) Steak was perfect as was the rest of the meal the girls waiting were very polite friendly and it was a very good evening with a nice meal and good staff. We will be coming back for sure a big thanks to ALL staff thank you.

We have been before and will be back again. Service and food today were excellent as usual and well priced. We were served by Niall who was very friendly and competent. I can't fault the place, well done !

A group of school mates had a pre Christmas senior lunch. We were well looked after. Good was great. Nice clean toilets. Plenty of car park places. Well worth a visit.

The service is terrible for walk in customers,can be waiting 20/30 mins to get served,food normally cold by the time you get home and I only live 5 mins away,used to be nice couple yrs ago

Nice looking restaurant. Cannot say the same about the food. I had steak pudding with chips and peas pretty standard really my husband had a steak and honestly it would have been easier to cut through a piece of wilton carpet. In their defence i think if you stick to a fish or pie based menu you are fine. The waiting staff were of a uncaring nature when i complained about the steak which makes me wonder if its worth reviewing at all. Will not go again.

We visited Brodsworth Hall and then Conisbrough Castle and decided stop here before driving back to Nottingham and it did not disappoint. Food was fresh and hot. Chicken burger was delicious and the homemade colslaw was the best I've had. Kids had the Christmas three course meal which they enjoyed and I finished off with the cheesecake of the day Honeycomb again delicious. Partner had the seafood platter and a starter of wings and was too full for dessert. Food was served in a timely manner. Decorations were up for Christmas which gave it a nice atmosphere. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. If ever back in the area we would return.

I've only ever used the takeaway side but the food is always top quality and the car park is always full presumably with people visiting the restaurant.

Don’t order from here, ordered on there app and 2.5 hours later still no food after ringing and being told it’s on its way, didn’t know fish is from Dover.

Food is delicious however when I order my food, online via the app, for a specific time, ie 1830, I don’t expect to be waiting around and walk out at 1840. It’s ordered and paid for so it should be prepared and bagged up for collection at 1830. The customer has paid for it and ordered it for that time, as they have plans and family waiting for it. It wasn’t the first time this has happened and seems to be a regular occurrence, why did I have to wait around for the 8 in front of me to wait for them to be served when I’d booked my time for collection. If I go up the road to the Indus or the local Chinese and order it for a specific time, it’s ready for that time. Yes, I understand it’s cooked to order, but I could seem my fish was already cooked, just waiting in the hot plate area. Get on top of the time for collection and it would have been a 5 star…..

Came to this restaurant from the other side of Doncaster because of all the good reviews online. It was quiet in the restaurant as you would expect for a Monday evening. We were shown to a table & waitress said she would come back to take the order, however, she did not. There were 3 members of staff stood chatting behind the bar & there were tables that needed clearing. We got tired of waiting & went to the takeaway side instead. The staff member on the takeaway was very efficient & polite dealing with telephone orders at the same time as with walk in customers. We both ordered cod & chips & the fish was excellent very fresh with light crispy batter. Unfortunately we won't be going back as it was along way just for takeaway which we ate sitting in the car. Someone needs to take charge of the staff serving in the restaurant & make sure they do their job professionally.

Food was good. Only 2 vegetarian options so I had veggie burger which wasn’t bad. Everyone else said their fish and chips were good, though my husband said he has had better elsewhere. Only three stars for the painfully slow service. Not sure if they were short staffed but we had to wait ages for everything, to be seated, to have our orders taken, for the food. We were there nearly 2 hours and only had one course. Wouldn’t go back.

Excellent Fish and Chips place, really been worth the visit going here with my Mum, Sister and little Nephew for a Family night evening out for a Dinner Meal, I would go there again in the future, outside where we been sat it were nice classic wooden bench tables and a Good viewing point area

Despite some mixed experiences the people here are lovely and the food is really nice :) Another visit: Food was delicious again, however our table of four was situated round the corner near the front of house, and every course we had (3) was a huge wait time and had to keep asking for things. Is definitely a forgotten table, and the restaurant wasn't even that busy. Bit disappointing as the food is brilliant. But waiting nearly 3 hours for three courses is a bit excessive. (deducted 2 stars) 1st visit: Utilised the "eat out to help out" offer at sea fish today and was not disappointed. Half an hour wait time for two people so not too bad but the food was bloody amazing. Will definitely go again. Had the platter for main and the lemon sponge for dessert.

Food was fried to a great standard Food tasted food. Service was very slow at the beginning... Wasn't sure if we was supposed to order at the bar or if someone came to us. As no one came to us after we was seated Also if the restaurant reads review... Didn't like that the Sunday lunch course offer... You had to commit at the time of ordering if you wanted dessert or not I asked could I decide after my main to which I was told no as they have to put it through the computer now. Overall would come back again

Fantastic food I travel quite a distance for this place best chip shop between Doncaster and Sheffield

We’ve been ordering take out from Sea Fish for about two years now. It’s always been great with the odd hit and a miss of soggy chips but the last two orders it’s felt like the standards have dropped. On our last order two weeks ago a sausage was missing from the order when delivered and on today’s order a bread roll was missing. Who is checking the orders before they go out? We are paying for food that is not being sent. The girl on the phone when I rang them tonight to tell they’d missed another item off the order and this is two orders in a row now couldn’t have sounded less interested just saying “I’ll pass it on”. I also ordered todays order through the sea fish app as usual and stated delivery for 20:55 as we were trying to get our toddler to sleep and they obviously didn’t look at that either because it turned up at 20:30 almost half an hour early. The chips were also soggy and tasted like they’d been sat for a long time. The large Chinese curry sauce was also only filled 3/4 way up. Wasn’t good at all. Standards just seem to have slipped of late and based on last two experiences we are now looking for a new go to chippy.

We were visiting relatives local to here and went for lunch. We've had takeaway fish and chips from here on previous occasions, which were great, but for some reason they seemed better in the restaurant.

Great fish and chips, the batter is very crisp and light. Excellent portion size. Vast selections of gin to choose from too.

Delivered food over 40 mins too early so ended up being eaten cold. Response by email we are sorry and the time I requested shouldn't have been granted. No voucher or anything offered to compensate for spoiling our meal.

Fantastic meal very enjoyable staff very nice and friendly highly recommended. Toilets are spotless as well which is a great bonus. Plenty of choice plus they also have a small sweet menu.

The venue is quite large with a connected take away too. The seafood platter and grill were both nice. Large portions and pretty good food

Quite expensive compared to others in the area, was disappointed that after spending so much I then had to pay 10p for a proper fork to eat it. THEY USED TO BE INCLUDED WITH THE MEALS.

Always delicious fresh Fish and Chips and so enjoy their Onion Rings too. Well worth a visit to either Takeaway or Restaurant, will not be disappointed 😀

Best chip shop in Donny hands down. Perfect chips every time we order. Only downside is you could be waiting ages if you get it delivered but that comes part and parcel with it being busy for as I said "best chip shop in Donny"

Good fish and chips, not greasy and good portion sizes. The fish curry wasn't great tbh mainly because it was just tiny pieces of shredded fish. Stick to traditional fish and chips.

Fantastic service, the chips are great and just the right amount. The homemade fishcake is my favourite and the kids had a normal fishcake which they both devoured. All served in quick time and by happy cheerful staff. Thank you
