Helena provided a fantastic service tonight. She catered for all our needs and was so polite. It made out the dining experience really good. To be fair I keep going back because the food is good but the staff are great. The Christmas menu was superb. The steak was cooked perfectly. Thank you so much for a lovely evening. 😎

Wasn't busy when we visited but food was really nice I had cod chips peas bread butter tarta sauce . From the pensioners deal as I'm over 60 . Good meal not like some places were they do this but give you a very small portion . So I'd definitely recommend this restaurant really nice . It's a 10 from me and my wife

Amazing value for money, Had the haddock and it was huge so make sure your hungry 😂 still managed a dessert though and was recommended the lemon cake by Helena she was lovely aswell as the food and service, looking forward to comming back x

Delivery did not arrive, bogus story about knocking on the door and no answer yet when asked why if they had actually arrived why they didn't leave it outside and was informed that they wouldn't do that... claimed they had called several times and spoke to someone, I have no missed calls on my phone and can prove it. Avoid this place.

We called in on Sunday for lunch 2ish and was pretty quiet but nice, the service was good the server was nice and polite. Our food was cooked to order and was most delicious. In all honesty the only thing that let it down was the very small cups , But hey nothing is perfect. Would we go again,, Most definitely.

Normally have a great experience here but unfortunately yesterday this wasn't the case. I placed an order for collection, got a notification to say the order was ready just as I arrived. Staff said they were bagging it up, out came another order which they thought was mine but it wasn't, yet they didn't check with me and 30 mins later I had to ask if mine was ready. I got my order home and the chips were hit and miss some were still hard and not cooked throughly. Usually great but not this time.

Food was excellent, fish flaky n fresh, peas delicious, chips cooked to perfection. However tartare sauce is the worst I've ever had. I'm assuming bought in. So if it wasn't for that 5 stars. I'd say 4.8 would be fair.

Had a great meal here, I had the Chicken burger which was 10/10 and the Mrs had fish and chips which was spot on you could tell the fish was fresh it was really tasty! Also credit to the service staff Ben, Farrell and Elena they were very friendly and attentive, will definitely be visiting again.

Enjoyed a delicious meal with my partner. Cod was delicious and service was exceptional thanks to Ben and Elena! Ended the meal with a delicious trifle and it was the perfect end to dinner.

We went here with my brother and sister in law who had been several times and said it was really good. They weren't wrong the fish and chips were very tasty and not at all greasy. We had the pensioners special which was very good value and plentiful. We were served drinks by Ben who was very prompt efficient and Helena who took our orders brought us out food and was very friendly and also efficient both of them tidying away plates surplus glasses etc. I would definitely go again and recommend it to other family and friends 10)10 food,service and decor/ambience.

Tilly & Lucy gave exceptionally good customer service, polite & attentive throughout. The food was amazing, the fish pie I ordered was big enough for 2 at least, boxed up my leftovers for my dinner tomorrow. My son had the tuna steak which he said was fresh & well prepared. Will definitely be returning.

Really nice fish & chips. No grease, fresh light batter, still hot on delivery and they are nice chunky chips. Pay a little more than other chippys but it's worth it.

Lovely food..gorgeous bit pricey bit worth it..Just a shame the waiting service was poor. It was not that busy, but had to chase up to get our bill..( table that came in after us were seen to us beforehand) and our plates were not cleared, ended up stacking them myself and putting them on table next to us..!had a server but she seemed to wander off..its a shame coz its a lovely nevertheless I recommend for food to eat in (if u don't mind waiting) or take away..

Driving 45 minutes out of Sheffield to Sea Fish was well worth the drive. There is plenty of free parking, the take away shop in front is superb and the restaurant is highly recommendable. We were a party of 8 and we tried a good variety of dishes on the menu. All were excellent. I personally recommend the Texas hamburger, another dish ordered had a good variety platter of meats. The desert menu was just what anyone would want to round off a great meal. The chips and onion rings at the Sea Fish were perfect, freshly cut and fried in fresh oil, not like a majority of chip shops we know around Sheffield that cost cutting using old oils. The burgers were so good I ordered an extra one to take home, as can be seen in one of the photos. The bar counter has a wide variety of excellent choices.

Has to be the best fish and chips for miles. Beats Whitby's hands down.. We travel from the other side of Doncaster because it's worth it 😀

Six of us shared an overdue catch up in this lovely restaurant. Seating and surroundings were extremely conducive to allow us to chatter overall well priced well serve tasty meal. Haddock was particular good and superbly cooked in a light batter with all of us choosing an array of the sides on offer. Service from the attentive staff was exceptional with Helena particularly helpful, friendly and most importantly, professional in sorting out six different choices of drinks, meals and coffees! Thank you to everyone there for making our get together a fun evening.

The best fish and chips I've had in south Yorkshire, always dined in the restaurant, lovely setting, lovely food.

Still cracking food as usual… app needs attention as not been accepting Apple Pay for last couple of months…. Good take away and restaurant. I have used both. Handy being able to place order over the phone. There is an app which has been inoperative in recent months, which has been mentioned to the staff.

I’ve had from here a few times never had a problem but tonight I spent 40 pound for mushy greasy rubbish that got thrown in bin I was shocked at the quality of the food tbh worst ever even the beans was like water am gutted and disappointed in this chippy now and for 40 pound come on that was for 3 meals shocking

The order was estimated to be 1 hr to 1hr 20 mins but it was 30 minutes after the later time. I had messaged Just Eat and was informed that Sea Fish would message me within 5 mins. No text. I rang & she had no idea what was happening.

Myself and my husband and our lovely friend Ann came here on Saturday 20/07/24. Ben who took our order was absolutely amazing very friendly and polite, he couldn’t do enough for us . We always come here for our fish and chips , it’s definitely the best around .

Lovely food. Really nice restaurant inside. I had Fish Balls starter, which were like balls of fishcake. Nice tartar sauce. Half chicken and chips with peas, 2 Yorkshire puddings, 2 stuffing balls and gravy. Cooked nicely and the half chicken was a proper half chicken, with one wing and one leg. All above for £12.50 on the Sunday deals menu. I enjoyed my meal and recommend you try this restaurant if you haven't already.

It’s the first time I’ve been to the restaurant at Conisborough, I went with my sister today. Food was the best, I ordered Haddock, perfectly cooked and the batter was just right, chips were amazing. The service from Sean & Sophie was great, made to feel welcome, so polite and very helpful. Top fish & chips and top service.

My family of 4 came in yesterday evening and I must say the food was incredible and Ben and Seth made us feel right at home. Will definitely come back again.

Always come here when visiting from Belfast to see family. The food is excellent especially the fish and chips. On this occasion I went for the goan fish curry with rice and wasn't disappointed, loved it. The only complaint would be that we were seated and then forgotten for a while to which I then had to get someone to come and take our order.

Food was late which was alittle frustrating but we've ordered from here loads and the food is always nice.. when it arrived there was a full meal missing! wasn't impressed! and the food wasn't up to scratch today I'm afraid.

Sea bass is delightful! Mine and mums favourite place to eat in conisborough. Ben and Seth looked after us, good selection of wines! ❤️

After a budget night at the holiday inn A1 junction 36 I needed something to cheer myself up. I'm in Yorkshire, on cup final day. Gotta be fish and chips. I stopped at Sea Fish in Conisbrough. Enough parking for about a dozen or so cars. When I pulled in, there was a young couple in a SUV tucking in to a take away. I asked if the food was any good and they nodded with enthusiasm. "Ay!!" So, the interior was muted, and dare I say "classy". Wood paneling. No comedy under the sea murals here. Really excellent service, and delicious cod and chips, tea and slice of bread and butter. I went for regular cod with a view to the dessert menu. there wasnt any room for anything from the sweet trolley. Maybe if I come back in the winter I'll have more need of the calories. A very reasonable price. Great value. And excellent customer service (Seth, and Ben) When Ben cleared my totally empty plate he asked the superfluous "Was everything arrite for ya?" I "Mmmmm" ed my approval and he says "Yeah, Nice in't it?" - Good staff, who know they're selling a good product. Always gets my vote. Thanks fellas. Five stars. EDIT - Sat 22/06/24I could only stay away for 4 weeks!!! Went back after staying in the same hotel. (If only the hotel was as good as the restaurant!) Fortunately, this time I didn't have to rush off so I could savour a dessert. I had a couple of scoops of ice cream - (double brownie choc, white choc ) and they were both excellent. Abley served again by Ben & Sophie (Sophia?) - Thanks again. See you soon.

Took 3 hours for food to finally arrive and when it did it was dry and rubbery and seemed like it had been microwaved 3 times. Definitely wouldn't order from here again. Very poor service... daylight robbery paying what you do for this food and receiving such poor service.

WOW !!! Visiting my lovely family, a last minute decision by them was to come here for lunch. Absolutely amazing, I’ve never had fish like it and trust me, myself and hubby have visited a number of establishments throughout Yorkshire ! Everything from the food, service and ambience was outstanding. Can’t wait to come back, my only problem is it won’t be for a while as we alternate who goes to who. Definitely on my wish list.

This is one of the best fish and chip restaurants in England. The food is excellent and the waitress service is brilliant. Our waitress today, Helena, even remembered that we haven’t been for a while. When we have visitors staying with us we try to take them to Sea Fish - they love it.
