The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Birmingham West Midlands

This Fish and Chip shop is quite simply the best in the wider area for quality of produce and value for money. The owner and staff are so very friendly and welcoming and always provide a great service and food. It’s the only ‘Chippy’ I’ll use in the area having used others that don’t compare.

Why the restaurant is temporarily closed, when will it reopen?

I've eaten here a few times and highly recommend.

Expectation was a 10. Reality was 0! If you've followed me for long enough, you'll know that fine dining and Michelin star restaurants is a very common occurrence. In 36 years on Earth I have never been so disgusted with a venue in my life!!!!! Firstly, our reservations were made in September, to dine on my actual birthday (29th December), to be seated at 7.30pm. At 5.30pm they called and left a voicemail to say The Oyster Club.....has no oysters! How is this even possible? They then called again and spoke to my partner, followed by another 3 calls that we answered. They just kept repeating the conversation and it was very obvious we weren't welcome. When we arrived and were the only table, this was even more obvious that the staff wanted to close and leave. After explaining my disappointment and stress about the situation, I had to ask for a complimentary cocktail for the inconvenience. Yes, this may have been a supplier problem, but to let us know 2 hours before our booking on 29th December....where else were we supposed to go?! I decided that caviar would soften the blow of no oysters being available and guess what was out of stock! No oysters. No caviar. They could offer steak.....at a seafood restaurant. The Asian waitress was trying to be intimidating so we leave, which was a fail. At that point I lost my temper. The immature, scruffy looking front of house was rude, cocky and couldn't care less. The manager was poorly dressed with a really bad hygiene smell. Her suit wasn't fitting at all. LUCKILY we managed to walk over the road to the amazing San Carlo and was seated immediately! For anyone looking for a fine dining, seafood experience I wouldn't bother. From start to finish I was completely disgusted in this environment, the service, the lack of menu options. We finished our drinks and left, then they asked us to leave as if the ball was in their court. I'll be very surprised if this place remains open. Disgraceful! Shocking! Pathetic waste of a building! Run by unenthusiastic uni students. Even arguing back with people on their reviews shows how little they care about customer service. Vile Place!

Our Friday night treat is the fish, sausage and chips with curry sauce , you get a lot of tasty food for £4.50. This is one of the best chippies in the area and I think the same family have owned it for years.

We visited here after reading the reviews online of their fish and chips. It's a short bus ride from Birmingham City, and we arrived around 1:30 pm. The place is small and the staff is very helpful. We ordered Cod with a side of peas and gravy. The portion size is good, and the service was also great. I thought the price was a bit on the higher side - 12 pounds. This may be my pallet that is used to having irish fish and chips, so I found thiers a bit bland and perhaps needed more seasoning.

This is a clean well run establishment and the food tastes good and varied--it has parking outside and the shop has disability access- as it's on the ground floor --- the proprietor and the other staff are friendly and polite yes worthy of a visit

Hi, had mixed kebab with salad, chips and a curry sauce, kebeb was ok! Chips like cardboard and flavourless watery curry sauce, had one like this before, no names, won’t bother again. Really disappointed, used to be faultless, shame.
