Hi, had mixed kebab with salad, chips and a curry sauce, kebeb was ok! Chips like cardboard and flavourless watery curry sauce, had one like this before, no names, won’t bother again. Really disappointed, used to be faultless, shame.

Fantastic chip shop But when the queue is out of the door the staff should really stop chatting to each other and get the queue down !!

So disgusted with the customer service. This was our regular place & recently they have started ripping customers off. Over charging on food & the quality of the food has died. Sorry brothers, but you can’t be charging silly prices for food that isn’t even worth it anymore. It’s not the first time this has happened either but I think it’s time everyone knows as we’re fed up of constantly addressing this. Either they forget items from our order or they over charge on what we purchase. Need to begin fixing this attitude.

Entré en esta tienda de patatas fritas como un nuevo cliente, ya que generalmente voy a la barra de pescado de la estación, entré a un miembro mayor del personal gritando al cliente y otro personal que parecía estar extremadamente caliente, ella entonces procedió a ser muy grosero conmigo y gritó “¡Date prisa, dime tu pedido ahora, tu tiempo perdido!” Estaba absolutamente disgustado con esta comunicación que tenía. el pedido era muy apresurado, lo que no me importa, sin embargo, se olvidaron de mi savloy y envolvieron mis patatas fritas hasta apretar, lo que hizo que todos se pegaran a la bolsa, que era muy desagradable, así como las patatas fritas siendo duras como un dulce. Los nuggets de pollo que pedí también fueron decepcionantes, me recordó a goma de mascar. cuando me fui escuché a un miembro del personal decirle al chef “mujer fea”, toda esta experiencia fue vergonzosa y nunca me había sentido tan incómodo dando mi dinero a un servicio tan poco profesional. nunca más!!! bar de pescado de la estación para la victoria, especialmente para que mis hijos pequeños nunca tendrán que encontrar una interacción tan perturbadora con su madre siendo maltratada verbalmente y comiendo comida para perros!!!

I went into my local chip shop and ordered some food . I had not been there for a while as the chips were not very nice but decided to give it another go . My order was incorrect and I repeated the order to the gent behind the till .The gent / tall man behind the counter become very aggressive shouting and ranting at me telling me he would serve me this time but I would be banned from the shop in future . I told him he had a very bad attitude towards the customers and very bad customer service and then asked for my money back .I also asked why I would be banned? Considering he had got my order incorrectly ,but With no avail .I spoke to the owners wife to tell her about the incident across the road but she stuck up for her husband who said he heard the conversation .The funny thing is he wasn’t in the shop at the time and was on a delivery, so this was a complete lie. I will never go to this shop again or use the corner shop which they own as they also keep overcharging you so watch you coins . This has happened numerous times . I think the man in this shop needs a drug test as he seems like he was on something or dislikes certain people (women) . I have lived here 30 years and never felt so insulted . The previous owners were lovely and very respectful it’s a shame this has gone down hill. I have spoken to other people around the area and they have said this has happened to them too .

Delicious food, friendly service, Appreciated the slice of lemon and tartar sauce that came with the large fish and chips!

Ordered naan breads from here during Ramadan. The naan were burnt from the top and edges were so thick there was raw dough around it. We were promised replacements “next time “ we ordered but when the next time came, the manager claimed it was impossible such a thing could have been offered. I won’t be arguing with an employee for a small order of naan. The “manager” Shahzeb is obnoxious and has no courtesy how to speak to customers. If you cannot expect a business to honour their words, says enough about their standards. Definitely not using any service from here again. Hope this review prompts some improvements.

I have been 3 times now and every time food has been terrible, hardly no chips, staff miserable and not friendly. Will not be using again.

I had the afternoon Tea here , very clean and nice quiet place to eat , afternoon tea was good , wish it had more savoury than sweet but that's just my preference

Run of the mill standard chippy. I won't be going again though because the hygiene standards are not up to the mark.
