Frydays Fish Bar in Birmingham

I went into my local chip shop and ordered some food . I had not been there for a while as the chips were not very nice but decided to give it another go . My order was incorrect and I repeated the order to the gent behind the till .The gent / tall man behind the counter become very aggressive shouting and ranting at me telling me he would serve me this time but I would be banned from the shop in future . I told him he had a very bad attitude towards the customers and very bad customer service and then asked for my money back .I also asked why I would be banned? Considering he had got my order incorrectly ,but With no avail .I spoke to the owners wife to tell her about the incident across the road but she stuck up for her husband who said he heard the conversation .The funny thing is he wasn’t in the shop at the time and was on a delivery, so this was a complete lie. I will never go to this shop again or use the corner shop which they own as they also keep overcharging you so watch you coins . This has happened numerous times . I think the man in this shop needs a drug test as he seems like he was on something or dislikes certain people (women) . I have lived here 30 years and never felt so insulted . The previous owners were lovely and very respectful it’s a shame this has gone down hill. I have spoken to other people around the area and they have said this has happened to them too .

I popped in for mini fish, large chips ( to share) curry sauce and mushy peas. The chips were being cooked so that was a bonus however, the gentlemen that served me was not only miserable but he didn't put my fish in the order. £5.90 for chips and a small curry sauce and mushy peas. Apart from anything else I'd avoid this place purely on the lack of customer service and rip off merchants...

Just fancied curry sauce and chips for a quick snack . Well them chips were not cooked today. Terrible terrible how do these places get away serving food like this . Never again plus no aprons or hair nets .

We often have either Mini Fish Special or a Pizza, as it is within walking distance - occasionally if feeling lazy we have home delivery and the speed of delivery is really good

La otra mitad me cogí un pescado y patatas fritas porque estándar me apetecía, y era el más grande, una pieza crispiest de pescado con la cantidad perfecta de pasta. Las patatas fritas normales y con vino gratis por £4. 90, sin duda volveremos! Gracias!

La comida es deliciosa y excelente relación calidad-precio. Patatas fritas con salsa de curry salchichas bacalao dos veces cuesta alrededor de 6 libras. 00. Personal simpático y cortés. Sin Gluten opciones disponibles de forma gratuita los lunes, lo cual es muy inusual para un fish and chips. Limpio y de manera eficiente. ¿Qué más se puede pedir. Altamente recomendado! !

Yo recomiendo a la gente, si Frydays fueron servidos de la ladera me dieron esta noche habría una multitud lynch después de mí.Patatas fritas descolorido, que iban desde beige pálido y primas a verde y duro como una roca.Carne que Kebab de pollo negro como el carbón y era tan difícil.La calidad ha ido empeorando en los últimos tiempos he visitado, pero me mantuve dando sólo una oportunidad más.Bien, no más, nunca más, has tenido tu último centavo de mí.Mire las fotos que he subido la comida incomible, Señor Frydays.Están realmente contentos con ese repugnante basura a un cliente habitual?Ah estás? Gracias por ser uno de los pocos artículos que sirven sin gluten chippys gratis. Fue un placer visitar y bien vale la pena estar un poco en coche. Dos horas y sin dolor de estómago y sin síntomas de haber sido glutened. Sin duda lo recomiendo para aquellos que necesiten una dieta sin gluten también gratis.

I recently heard that frydays was under new management so thought I would give it a go and was not disappointed we had mini fish and chips with mushy peas. The fish was so fresh perfect crispy batter, mushy peas very tasty and the chips were just as good. Staff are very friendly and welcoming would highly recommend.

The best local takeaway around. Quite a lot of choice. Friendly staff. Easy parking opposite. Fast service.

Pedimos de Frydays innumerables veces antes y siempre hemos sido felices con su comida y servicio. Ambos han sido siempre de alta calidad en cada visita que he hecho. Desde pizzas hasta pescado y patatas fritas, todas son geniales. Local para mí y muy agradecido por eso. Gracias Frydays :)

Frydays siempre ha sido nuestro "fish and chips" de elección y es genial que ofrecen servicio a domicilio. Pero con cada orden que intenta darle el beneficio de la duda después de años de ser un cliente, de hecho cada vez se pone peor. Lo básico - las patatas fritas - son horribles. Casi fina, no lo suficientemente cocidos, nada en absoluto agradable sobre ellos. Nos decepcionó y tiempo para parar molestando!

Soy un cliente habitual de Frydays pescado bar y utilizar su servicio de entrega, que es de primera categoría, siempre entregar a tiempo y la comida es fresca y caliente. Mi favorita es la comida vegetariana pizza, que tengo que decir que es mucho mejor que las mejores pizza lugares cualquier día, he recomendado este pescado bar a todos mis amigos y familiares que también acuerdo en que éste es el mejor pescado & chips" nunca!! Si pudiera darle más de 5 * que!!

great fish and chips shop they have a variety of food, my son loves there pizzas and the fish is to die for the best thing about them is they deliver when you have had a bad day at work nothing is better than fish and chips coming to your front door its always piping hot freshly cooked would recommend it to all

one of the best fish and chips i have everrrrrr had, they takes ages making it but its fresh and absolutely delicious.

Had mixed doner meat and chips with a scollop.Chips were hot, fresh and clean potatoes used.Lamb and chicken doner were both superb, not the spicy asian variety but the traditional Greek kebab rolls, such a welcome change from that insipid bright red meat that other chip shops sell.Portion was good and very tasty.Many thanks, I will be back again.

Found this place by accident as it is on the to/from route to some friends and we had stayed at theirs til late into the evening one night and decided to pick up some supper on the way home. Anyway, great little chippy, they do a range of pizzas - freshly done for you as you wait - and they don't argue about topping alterations like some places!I think they also do one night a week that is gluten free? doesn't affect us but useful to know for some families. Great service, you usually have to wait a bit for the pizzas but you expect that anyway. Good prices.

When you see the lights at the bottom of pierce avenue they are like a beacon. We've never had anything but top quality food from there, chips, kebabs, specials, pizzas. All brilliant! They even deliver. What more can you ask for?
