The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South West

Dining here is lovely, but very overrated. I found the food to be subpar what you should expect with food that lacked seasoning. Apart from that service is great and the location is great. Breakfast here is always nice too.

The food is very expensive for what you get ,the service is very poor,the floor needs a bloody good clean.I would not recommend this to anyone,and I won't be going back myself.

Had a great meal in a good setting. Pleasant ambience and excellent food, tempura prawns starter, then lemon sole and great chips and good white wine. Topped off by a delicious crème brûlée. The staff were great especially AJ who was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there.

Last visited 4 years ago. Not great so never went back. Thought I am passing, give it another chance. Sadly not too good again. Firstly prices have risen steeply!! Haddock £9.50?? If it had been a good size I don’t mind paying. This was the thinest Haddock ever!! More batter than fish?!! Such poor value. Chips were ok however £4.50 for large, that actually was not that large….. Overall disappointing . The other shops in the area offer better food at reasonable prices.

I was there carnival night. The atmosphere was amazing, queues out the door, staff working flat out. We had the chips and mushy peas and it was fantastic food, also gluten free.

I met some lovely young men there. Good conversation, good service and very good food (chips and jumbo sausage) . I can't wait to go back there.

Went up for fish and chips with curry sauce as a Sunday evening treat. The size of the portion was massive and it had nice chunky chips and the best curry in plympton. Staff were friendly and polite

Not nice whatsoever,very ignorant and rude staff,cod and chips way over priced and cooked dry,most likely recooked from the night before..I ended up giving it to the seagulls in the back garden.

Quite simply this place is terrible And used to be really good Chips fine good to exellent Fish large greasy batter minuscule amounts of fish . Hard and chewy at that .. So so dissapinting

I don't know how previous reviews were so positive, the fish itself was dry and chewy, the batter was soggy and had an odd texture. The chips were also soggy. I have had chips here before and they were awfully soggy. Peasedown deserves better.

Outstanding Fish & Chips, good size medium fish with lovely light batter, chips were crisp & plenty of them, fish cooked to order.

Absolutely shocking portion size i’ve been many times before and it’s been great went today and the portion size is absolutely ridiculous ordered a large chips and got a child’s handful
