The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South West

I had fish and chips today and it was very delicious everything was hot and fresh. I always buy fish and chips from the same shop and it’s always the best.i really recommend it to everyone. Thanks:)

The NEW bar menu is incredible... most expensive thing on there circa £20 ... totally recommend but don't all go as I don't get a table..staff are great and a all round great place to be ... not the same as the restaurant upstairs but equally as cool

We were very fortunate to have ordered the last two Hot Shells meal and were blown away by the gorgeous mussels, crab and the delicious scallops. The surroundings are outstanding and very relaxed. Whilst enjoying the wonderful food, it was a bonus that we could watch the goings-on in the sea and on the beach. Superb! In fact we are off there again today to sample more of the delicious menu.

Revisited recently, still damn fine fish and chips and the curry sauce was bliss too, in the past we used a competitors shop, after poor service this is our goto fish and chips

We live locally but it's the first time visiting here and I'm impressed: Immaculately clean. Friendly, happy, chatty fun staff who are also efficient. Pleasent atmosphere. Clean tasting, good food!! Thank you!

Chips dry, batter thick and undercooked underneath. Fish poor and brown underneath. Awful and expensive. Waste of money.

Food was very greasy. Felt a little awkward in there as a visitor to the area. Very much a locals place. Sadly I wouldn’t return.

Asked for a small chips (£2.90) but was charged £3.71? When I asked if the advertised price was correct, she said that if you pay by card, there’s an extra 20p ‘surcharge’ for doing so, which was NOT advertised? Additionally, she could not quantify the additional 61p & put it down to a ‘Post Office’ computer type anomaly? Whilst it made fellow customers bemused, I was shocked at the total fleecing of customers at a blatant incompetent level.

Incredible food at an unbeatable price, from burgers and sausages to fish and chips, everything is fantastic! They even offer a footlong sausage. Among all the takeaways in the area, this one stands out as the most affordable and offers the best value for your money.

What a little gem of a fish restaurant. The service was excellent, and the staff were attentive. Highly recommend the sea bream with greek salad. It was gorgeous. Washed down with a lively red wine. Will definitely recommend it, and we will definitely be returning. 😋👌😁

Sublime! What incredible food and amazing service! Varun & Shubham were incredibly attentive and accommodating to mine and my best friend’s needs. Ironically, I have an allergy to crab. They were both very accommodating and reassuring that there would be no crab cross contamination into our order. NOW.. let’s talk about the food. The Brownsea oysters were some of the best oysters we have had. (And we have had A LOT) in our lifetime. We also ordered from the specials board - lobster linguine. It was so absolutely delicious that me and my best friend sat in silence, unable to talk to each other for 20 minutes because we were enjoying the food too much to talk!!!! What a gem of Bournemouth. The whole experience from start to end means they have gained us as new regulars whenever we are in town. Oh, and they also seated us with a beautiful sea view. What a treat! Thanks Varun & Shubham, and the excellent chefs! 1000/10. Ps. White wine fans - order the Picpoul.
