The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

Regular visits on Friday night and I can say that if you know how to order the service is good The oap fish and chips are just enough ( but only just!) All smiles from the staff who are actually working when you aren’t Back again soon 😎

We would not recommend this place to anyone we had a selection of meals we had cod and chips scampi and chips and pie and chips which was all in edable milkshakes were horrible service was not good either. we will never be eating there again.

I drove past one fish bar locally and it was empty this one had a queue of 6 waiting, and for good reason. I joined the queue and got cod and chips within 5 mins( four staff). They deserve credit because it was good quality fish and I had so many chips I couldn't eat them all.

Delicious fish & chips! Light & crispy batter & very tasty fish. Service was excellent too. Will be our new local chippy from now on!! Definitely recommend

Called in for snack on journey home to Brighton. Had southern fried chicken, chips & fruit juice. It was THE best chicken ever & chips perfect. Cannot recommend enough. THANK YOU Riverside. I will never be able to pass through Uckfield again without stopping to see you. So friendly and helpful too.

Love Ossies. Always generous with the portion sizes and reasonable prices, too. Always given a little portion of chips to nibble whilst waiting.

Portion size was tiny. £4 for a large, certainly wasn't large. Old fella watching the girl behind the til like a hawk serving up chips so she doesn't give a decent portion. Only got two stars as the chips tasted alright.

Every time I come here I’m always dissatisfied the batter is always soft/soggy the curry sauce is runny and a bit bland. Most of the chips are crumbs. This isn’t just a 1 off it’s everytime. It’s an easy quick dinner but always a bit crap. Quite expensive too!

The Stein Empire maybe pretty darn large these days but I'm delighted to say they still deliver the goods. When I called ahead of our booking, Niall was great in allocating the requested window table and the young lady who received and looked after us all evening (Sorry didn't get her name) was excellent throughout. On her recommendation we tasted and selected both the superb Camel Valley Brut Rose from Cornwall as well as the fabulous Care Blanco Sober Lias Rose. We chose hugs and fabulous scallops and sumptuous crab linguine to start. These were followed by Dover Sole and my divine Turbot in the butteriest of sauces... Although delicious I found £50 per plate a little too rich. Nothwithstanding, the evening proved a delight in all other ways.

Wow this is sick a cool Place. We stumbled upon this for there tapas advertising and classsic 7o/80s music 🎶 the vibe was amazing the food was spectacular and everyone was having a Lovely time. We stayed all day. It was magic.

A great experience, as always, at this lovely venue. Never been disappointed. Fabulous food. A particular mention for our waitress Lila who gave truly exceptional service - very efficient, lovely manner - commented on by the senior members of our party - who have particularly high standards! Thank you to the whole team for making our experience so memorable.

Fish and seafood restaurant, but for picky eaters used to Italian cuisine is classic.

They did not send my meal , when we called to complain they said they couldn’t do anything for us . Will never order from here again .
