The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

Generous portions, great value, fantastic value for seniors. No frills, just wholesome better than "as advertised" food!

Wow this is sick a cool Place. We stumbled upon this for there tapas advertising and classsic 7o/80s music 🎶 the vibe was amazing the food was spectacular and everyone was having a Lovely time. We stayed all day. It was magic.

The food was terrible all wet and soggy the chicken wasn’t cooked properly nearly gave me salmonella

We returned to this fabulous restaurant for the second time this year, having discovered it last year with a group of girlfriends. The service , as ever, was superb….as was the food. Friendly and professional…..from the greeting by our lovely host (Gio I think?) to the lovely Emma who looks after us throughout our meal. Thank you to the whole team……..it was certainly worth driving from Somerset for!!

An experience I will never forget Its waters, its animals, the Caspian Sea is impressive, the largest lake in the world 😛❤️❤️

Had a fantastic takeaway meal from there about a year ago and was in the area again but with family so wanted to dine in, we arrived 30/45 mins before closing but said we could not dine in. Was disappointed as we would of understood we would need to leave by closing.

A real gem of a traditional fish n chop shop with superb modern alternative menus. Great value, generous portions aswell.

My previous five-star review of this establishment is now woefully outdated. Since changing ownership, this fish and chip shop has drastically declined. Prices have increased while portion sizes, particularly the fish, have shrunk considerably. To illustrate the point, the "large" cod I received was a mere 6cm wide—clearly cut into the smallest possible pieces to maximize profit at the expense of customer satisfaction. This disappointing experience has unfortunately ruined my opinion of what was once a favorite local spot. I won't be returning.

Food amazing never get orders wrong and are quick on making more takeout than a sit down place.

Shared a small cod and regular chips, absolutely exceptional. Both where cooked fresh to order. Never had such a perfect fish; not too big, no skin or dark meat, perfect texture and a light/crispy batter. We will definitely return and add to our recommendations in our holiday let.

The picture here doesn't do it justice. This is my all-time favourite chippie in all of Brighton. They're the only place that do cheesy chips right. Make sure to ask for them not to wrap it so it doesn't clump up at the top. The chips are chunky and soft and absolutely perfect. When I crave chips, I crave Woodingdean Fish Bar Chips. I'm sorry I can't review much else because I'm vegetarian, and I genuinely only come here for the Chips and Gherkin, but SERIOUSLY, go give them a try if you have not. Friendly service from a family owned business. The first time I moved to Woodingdean, I was treated warmly by the man inside, and he could tell instantly I had just moved. He was so lovely and gave me such a warm sense of community. I'm genuinely hungry just from writing this. Atmosphere wise, it's kind of a sterile enviroment, always clean, has a tv with the football on, a board with lots of woodingdean community based fliers and plenty of tables and chairs including waiting chairs.
