Top fish n chip shop. Service never fails always happy and helpful staff food always a good standard and cooked to order if required. They are a credit too the community..fish day friday always busy because it's good efficient and serves good food 👍

Very happy first time visit and will definitely go again, freshly cooked had sausage in batter and can't wait to try the whole menu 😋

My local fish and chip shop has been used by me for years - not the best I have ever had but plenty good enough. The man behind the counter is fine if you speak to him.

Best piece of haddock we have ever had from a chippy. Chips okay but not as amazing hence why 4 instead of 5 star.

We returned to this fabulous restaurant for the second time this year, having discovered it last year with a group of girlfriends. The service , as ever, was superb….as was the food. Friendly and professional…..from the greeting by our lovely host (Gio I think?) to the lovely Emma who looks after us throughout our meal. Thank you to the whole team……..it was certainly worth driving from Somerset for!!

Still amazing after all these years. We were a party of 11 and made to feel very welcome. Food hot and tasty.

Ordered on line for collection, food was ready when we arrived, staff super helpful and even carried to car (large order). Portion sizes are very generous, small portion is probably the size of other shops large portions, one portion of regular chips was enough for 2, fish well cooked and tasty.

Disappointed. I used eat here every visit, the portions used to be generous and the price was decent. It's been revamped and looks great, clean and airy and the waitresses are attentive. Unfortunately the portions are mean and expensive..large cod is not even a medium! (although tasty) I had salad instead of chips ( as I always used to) 1/4 tomato, 2 slices of cucumber a a few mixed leaves.. I thought it was the garnish! Couldn't believe it, I wasn't even full when we left!! Won't be going back I'm afraid. I think the owner must have posted the food photos.. our food came on normal round plates.. We grabbed some fish and chips and must say that it was one of the worst I have had, the chips were dry and hard (probably been sitting for a while) fish was freshly cooked ( could have done with a lot more frying) fishcake was OK but a bit of a wierd taste. All in all was very disappointed. We have used this chip shop before and it was quite good but last night was not pleasant

I'm very picky with fish and chips but this place is very good! Proportion is massive and the price is very reasonable given the size! The cod is very large and the meat is very succulent. The batter is light and crispy, the colour is perfect. The chips are one of the best from a chippie shop, not too mushy or starchy I'm very impressed. I've tried many fish and chips and they're average but this one I would definitely recommend!
