Literally the worst fish and chips ever . All the signs were there as we walked in but for some reason we ordered anyway. He can't have changed the oil for years. Cremated food that tasted totally rank. Avoid.

Perfectly crispy cod and delicious rustic chips. And they have onion vinegar! Great service too... And it's definitely not shut on a Saturday despite what it says on Google.

Nice fish and chips and great service! The man who works their is very nice. Also the portions are definitely worth the money. Recommend it!

Just saw a negative post regarding the owner, so thought I'd share my experience. The man of this shop is so lovely, he always remembers the order for the care home I work at and their names. Food is the best I've been to in Brighton and the owner has always been warm and welcoming.

This place hasn't changed and I am glad of it! The fish is freshly fried and the chips are proper potatoes, none of this frozen pre-packaged stuff. If you want proper fish and chips in a retro setting, this is the place to go.

Miserable man. I don't give my money to rude people. Doesn't take much effort to smile and thank someone who has chosen to come to your business. It's a no brainier to me. No surprise he seems to have shut down. You reap what you sow

Todavía va fuerte el pescado Modelo Fryer en Fiveways es uno de los mejores de pescado y patatas fritas por millas. El propietario actual ha sido corriendo la tienda desde 1988! Sigan con el buen trabajo. Gracias.

El pescado no tenía sabor, excepto un retrogusto desagradable. No sé cómo se han preparado, pero la pasta era brown en la parte de arriba que lo habían sido puesto bajo una parrilla. Las patatas fritas eran bien si quieres estilo patatas fritas. repugnante, no vamos allí de nuevo

Fab vegan battered sausage. I'd give an extra star if he wasn't such a miserable sod and stayed open later :)
