Great, quick food, great service. Stayed hot and fresh for a while, lots of different options, and the girl at the front desk was lovely.

Excellent food - generous portions, it was hot and really tasty. Particularly enjoyed the mixed starters. We had a problem with our order (they’d misheard me on the phone) and they could not have been more accommodating in helping resolve it. Will def use them again

Food is always tasty, hot still by the time you get it home and all the staff are so polite 🤩 Their new website is perfect to order online and collect at your chosen time, pay online by card or cash on collection is still a choice! Brilliant addition to this perfect takeaway!

Fantastic Chinese the best one in The Witterings by a clear mile! Moved here 2 years ago and just tried Ocean Village for the first time after trying the local ones to us in Bracklesham which weren’t very good. Their food is amazing and just the Chinese we had hoped to find! Their food is great quality and the portions are generous so be prepared for seconds the next day. It all looks and tastes fresh and the prawns we had were the biggest I’ve seen! Genuinely so happy to find such a tasty Chinese we will deffo be back! Just a word of advice make sure to take cash as they do not accept card which is odd and its collection only no delivery.

I love a Chinese takeaway, and always try to get a Chinese takeaway of Singapore Fried Noodles (without the curry powder - that’s really not how we eat it in SG) when trying out a new place, esp on holiday. ‘Xingzhou mee fern ’ is really hard to fry - too hot and the vermicelli sticks and too low heat means you don’t get the wok-hei into the noodles. This takeaway does it well and passes with flying colours! We are definitely coming back for more for the rest of the trip!

I have tried to call them and cannot find an email.address, was poorly after eating takeaway last night. Singapore vegetable noodles. Crispy seaweed Sweet and sour chicken balls.

We have recently moved to the area and LOVE Chinese takeaway! We tried all 3 to give them all a fair chance but Ocean village was by far the best! Pots always filled to the brim, super tasty and smooth collection every time considering the crazy world we are in!

Small portions,expensive and they seems to be overwhelmed by a few customers that ordered that day. Quite disappointed compared to other places we've been! As I spent £20 it would been a nice gesture to give some prawn crackers for free. We won't be coming back.

Great little place for Chinese food. Quick service, the lovely lady let’s us pop to the Shore Inn for a pint between ordering and collection. Not the best Chinese I have ever had but the price point is brilliant!

My friend phoned, food was ready in 15 minutes. Very tasty loads of it and piping hot. There was enough for next day! Average dish a fiver for a main.Lots to choose from. Well worth a visit. I will be back next time we are visiting.

Down in East Wittering for a long weekend. First night just walking past and decided to pick up a Chinese for dinner. I’m always reluctant in trying new take aways, but I need not have worried. Ocean Village has a range of food choices, all we had were cooked to order, tasty and hot. I can definitely recommend their crispy duck, wet fried rice, deep fried chilli beef, sweet and sour chicken HK style and the beef in pepper, chilli, and black bean sauce. Only thing which let me down was their salt and pepper chips - they tasted of normal chips even though they should have a bit of a kick In 5 days we have eaten here twice

Been using Ocean for almost three years. Good menu, good prices, good food. Friendly staff. Would recommend

Large Order placed at 7pm last night, collected at 7.30, food was fresh,hot & delicious, full of flavour.

Down for the weekend to visit family. We were told this was the best for Chinese takeaway but unfortunately we didn’t like the food at all. The noodles were watery, under seasoned and didn’t have that lovely soy flavour. The egg fried rice was mushy and again bland. The sweet and sour sauce taste off. The fried dumplings filling was like a cheap paste, disgusting! The chicken and black bean sauce was all green pepper and a ton of onion! The worst Chinese food we have ever had and a waste of £30.

Arrived home tired after a hectic day and a hospital visit and needed sustenance without any further effort. A quick trip to Ocean Village provided us with a tasty meal at a very reasonable price. Nothing was left!

If you want a take-away its the place for you, your basic seaside take away delights. No frills varied menu.

Ordered a huge order with some friends and were dubious about the promised 10 minute timescale. Arrived anyway in 10 mins and it was waiting for us, but it was not prepared or stale, taste and texture was just right. - Not much more to say - Would recommend!

Ordered for 4 adults and 2 children. Good choices and always looking to try something new. We all enjoyed the crispy duck, spring rolls, and a variety of chicken and prawn dishes.

Lovely food quickly serviced, the chilli beef could have been slight more spicy but I'm being picky!

Staying in East Wittering we decided to try out the local Chinese takeaway and what a delight! Every dish we ordered was extremely tasty and we ordered a lot... we couldn't believe how quick the service was as well. Highly recommended!

Great takeway place, Good duck, chow mein, and a whole host of other dishes. Highly recommended as a place to visit when holidaying and you cant be bothered to cook!

Great food, friendly service. Chow mien dishes are lovely as are the Thai curries. Only takes cash, no cards.

I like to use Ocean village regularly...the food is always pretty good..reasonably priced, there is generally not a long wait and food is plentiful! The only downside is that they do not take cards...so if you want a telephone order...have cash handy.

Best food from a Chinese in the south coast. Crispy chilli beef spot on. Singapore noodles spicy full of meat and veg. Malaysian chicken divine. Salt and pepper chicken amazing. Will continue using this outlet

Este es mi local chino, primero llevar consigo dinero en efectivo! No se aceptan tarjetas y estar preparado para cuando llame a poner en espera por un par de minutos (a mi me sucede mucho) porque normalmente están siempre ocupados. Y dice mucho! La relación...

Normalmente uso otro excelente restaurante chino local para llevar cuando estemos en la zona, pero por desgracia en lunes, así que decidimos probar el Mar Pueblo. Hemos utilizado en el pasado, pero no en los últimos años. Nos quedamos muy agradablemente sorprendidos, la comida era excelente y llena de sabor, el tamaño de la porción también era muy buena. Es mucho más competitivos que el nuestro restaurante preferido y sólo elegir un paso por detrás en calidad. Ver competencia local fuera!!!

Ocean Village is a pan-Asian takeaway with a very broad menu. It's not fancy food by any stretch of the imagination, but it has several plus points: there's a lot of choice, the portions are generous, the cooking-to-order is very efficient, the dishes are always tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. For a slump-in-front-of-the-TV meal at the end of a long day, Ocean Village has lot going for it.

We live locally and like Ocean Village, they are always polite & friendly and produce good quality Chinese food.When ordering the takeaway the turn around time is fairly quick, getting a little longer in the summer months.

We had a takeaway from here on the beach. Closest fish & Chip shop to the seafront. I initially went in the wrong door (there's one for sitting in and another for takeaways). A surly member of staff pointed me to use the correct door. Fish and chips were good although there was more batter than fish on my Rock Eel. Scampi was very good and generous portions. 1 large chips was enough for me, the wife and our 3 year old.

Best i have had in a long time with the option of a small fish, crispy batter and perfect chips. Excellent service too.

Just behind West Wittering beach, and on the car parking area. Basic food, so don't expect style. However all they sell is good value and fits the bill.

One of my favourite takeaways when down at Witterings. Always good food from an extensive menu. Generally, quick service too.

Really great food, fresh and tasty. Not the cheapest but worth it. Does not take cards. Cash only. The Thai dishes are really great.

The staff here are generally friendly and helpful. I had a take away from here this evening. Was disappointed in the half Peking Crispy Duck. The Pancakes, cucumber and spring onion strips and sauce were OK but the duck was very poor, dry and lacked flavour. It was not 'crispy' or shredded but seemed to be carved strips of cooked duck. Disappointing and normally much better than this.
