The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South East

I’m gonna start by saying that I’m not moaning about the food. It’s the best local fish and chip shop. The young lad who’s answering the phone, needs to listen. He asked me for my postcode (which I gave) and the food still got sent to my old address.luckily, still warm

Wow this is sick a cool Place. We stumbled upon this for there tapas advertising and classsic 7o/80s music 🎶 the vibe was amazing the food was spectacular and everyone was having a Lovely time. We stayed all day. It was magic.

Orderd on uber eats live 3-5 miles away and got uber one - didn't realise it was 43 POUNDS for 2 cod and chips daylight robbery and the fish were definitely left under a heat lamp for a bit.

We returned to this fabulous restaurant for the second time this year, having discovered it last year with a group of girlfriends. The service , as ever, was superb….as was the food. Friendly and professional…..from the greeting by our lovely host (Gio I think?) to the lovely Emma who looks after us throughout our meal. Thank you to the whole team……..it was certainly worth driving from Somerset for!!

Love the halloumi and chips. So excited a chippy still does halloumi. The chip portion was good and tasty. I'll be coming back for more.

Trying to make a complaint through Deliveroo since I can not contact this place, my mum ordered the cauliflower, chips and cheese bites since she is a vegetarian. The rest of my family got more cheese bites and my dad got a cod (which was missing) and to make it worse my mum had bit in to a prawn as they gave us prawn bites instead of cheese bites!!! She was almost sick and did not even feel like eating anymore. This is against regulations and a breach of consumer rights honestly disgusting! The staff here are so lazy and careless! This is one of the tops 14 most serious alergies and they have incorrrctly fed it to a customer

It appears that the Blue Marlin are moving away from serving fish and chips and branching out into comedy. Pop in for some dinner and you too will witness the laughs unfold before your very eyes with their tiny portion sizes (12 chips in a large cod and chip, and some of these twelve chips were littke off cuts) and lack.of ability to get orders right. It really is like visiting a circus and watching the calamity as the clowns behind the counter take your money and serve up well below standard portions and food quality. Sadly the only ones with custard on faces are the customers. TWELVE chips in a large cod and chip TWELVE!!!

The picture here doesn't do it justice. This is my all-time favourite chippie in all of Brighton. They're the only place that do cheesy chips right. Make sure to ask for them not to wrap it so it doesn't clump up at the top. The chips are chunky and soft and absolutely perfect. When I crave chips, I crave Woodingdean Fish Bar Chips. I'm sorry I can't review much else because I'm vegetarian, and I genuinely only come here for the Chips and Gherkin, but SERIOUSLY, go give them a try if you have not. Friendly service from a family owned business. The first time I moved to Woodingdean, I was treated warmly by the man inside, and he could tell instantly I had just moved. He was so lovely and gave me such a warm sense of community. I'm genuinely hungry just from writing this. Atmosphere wise, it's kind of a sterile enviroment, always clean, has a tv with the football on, a board with lots of woodingdean community based fliers and plenty of tables and chairs including waiting chairs.

Incredible fish and chip restaurant! We family holiday to Hastings every year and we always come here! We absolutely love Oceans Eleven staff aswell as their food! You want real proper chips, and of course local fish! So tasty and very good portions for the prices you pay!
