Last minute decision to visit - had seen a few reviews on fb and the opportunity to pop in arose. Walked in at half 2 on a Friday afternoon and found it already 2/3 full (there are only six tables), and it stayed at least half full until we left just after 4. Service was chilled, laid back and perfectly timed; those in a rush may disagree but we certainly weren’t. Really nice bottle of Rioja, a sharing board, a couple of dishes and then a couple of cocktails to finish made for a very pleasant afternoon. Will be back as there’s loads on the menu we wanted to try!!

Nestled in a former butcher shop, this Persian restaurant charms with Victorian tiles and a lovely courtyard. The inviting ambience sets the stage for exquisite Persian cuisine. Don't miss their refreshing mint and cucumber drink, reminiscent of a non-alcoholic Pimm's. It is a truly exceptional dining experience that leaves you craving more, and we will be back soon.

Chose this place as they do Gluten free. Best Gluten free bread I have ever had out. The service was brilliant, with a teapot, tea cups and sauces and tea plates and the shop is a real delight, with some many lovely things to look at. I will defenately go there again if I am over that way. Higly recommend this place.

Went in the Ticktocks cafe at the end of lunch time and there was a two seater table squashed behind the open door and a four person table both empty. Having three shopping bags and two walking sticks and being chunky we headed for the four person table rather than being squashed behind the door with all our bags etc in the path way to the exit. We was immediatly set upon by a waitress who told us we could not have the four table just in case four people came in. I said we did not want the two seater as its to small, but she was not having an of it. So i said you dont want our money then you would rather have two empty tables, and so we left. Such poor customer service and i found insulting. We went to the Centre cafe just across the path that had two tables and four tables and we sat on a four table no problem and had a very good meal and cheaper.

Amazing quality pizza and the staff are really nice. It is cooked in a pizza oven and i much prefer it to the many other pizzerias in the area.

This is not your average cafe- both food and services have standard. We went there both for breakfast & lunch upon friends' recommendation. Then we discovered it does bistro during weekends evenings which we went on a Friday night. We were very impressed: it is very obvious the chef has a passion for food and understand the ingredients and has technical ability. The plates of food were expertly presented. The manager is Matt who does everything efficiently and politely, a good communicator. A lovely experience overall.

My husband booked Damson for our 1 year wedding anniversary and what a memorable experience that was! The food was some of the best we’ve had. Chefs that seriously know what they’re doing! Lovely staff, perfect ambience. Couldn’t have asked for more. Will 100% be back and singing your praises! The handwritten card for our anniversary was a special touch. Thank you again. 🤍

Hey, there's this small gem of a restaurant in Bexhill. Ana and Bogdan, the owners, are super lovely and welcomed us warmly. My Romanian partner was thrilled to find a place that serves his traditional cuisine. The food was incredible, fresh, and packed with flavor. We'll definitely be going back!

What a jewel in Haslemere’s office culture crown. This lovely place is a find. Comfy chairs, a great array of home made cakes - we popped out for a cake and coffee and were were not disappointed. It’s got a friendly vibe and the menus look enticing for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We love this litle place. Nice little ride out from St Marys Bay. I enjoyed the ham salad baguette with chips and salad (proper ham) and a slush cold drink. He had the burger which was really enjoyed. Owners look after their customers and always take the time to have a little chat. Looking forward to another trip there soon.

Our favourite spot in Margate for flavoursome lunch/brunch. Cosy cafe run by a troop of trendy professionals of the hospitality industry. Have the most exciting menu for brunch/lunch in Margate. The Korean fried chicken in any form ( salad/sandwich) is my favourite with Siracha and homemade kimchi but today they have a new sandwich to die for... honey & siracha braised pork belly toasty, kimchi, fennel jam, reclette and alioli on the side.... crazy good. They are a bit pricy but is worth if you got it as a treat like us. Their coffee is also the best in Margate and a pleasure to see any batista making it. A true experience, well done guys 👍👍👍

We came here for a quick lunch after playing at Clue Cracker on a late Sunday afternoon, and a quick lunch we did not get. The kitchens are separate, with tapas from one and pizza from the other, and at not one point was this made clear to us before placing our order. Bear this in mind when ordering. We ordered 2 pizzas and 4 tapas dishes. The tapas arrived within 15 minutes of ordering, the pizzas were nowhere to be seen. 25 minutes passed, so we asked where the pizzas were. It was only at this point did they tell us the kitchens were separate, but assured us it wouldn't be long. 35 minutes and the tapas dishes were finished, but 2 people were still waiting for their food. We complained and they told us the food would be with us shortly. It took a total of 45 minutes for the pizzas to arrive. No apology, no offer of discount. Nothing. The food here is good, and I do really enjoy the pizzas (although Cantuccio's on Camden Road is definitely better), but not when you have to wait 45 minutes and watch other people finish their meals.
