Very sweet waiting staff and huge portions of food and great value. Lovely and clean establishment too. Very impressed.

Very friendly staff in an easy to park location which is just off the A24. We had good coffee and excellent bacon baps. Dog friendly too.

Best chips ever!! Very good service and food. Sausage mash chips and gravy was outstanding, so was ham egg and chips. Bring your own alcohol

I have been here a few times now, and the food is always...and I mean always...perfectly cooked. Yes, it's a fried breakfast but unlike most places it doesn't arrive swimming in grease, it's obviously quality ingredients lovingly prepared. Not only is the the best place for a breakfast I have ever found it is also, remarkably, one of the cheapest. Go elsewhere? No thank-you. If you're ever in the area give this gem of a place a try, you will not be sorry.

I came across this little café purely by chance and am so pleased that I did. The café is clean, welcoming and the staff / owner personable and friendly. The menu focuses on the Full English breakfast and is made with top quality ingredients cooked to perfection. There are three variants of the Full English to cater for all appetites - large, medium and small. I consider myself to have a healthy appetite but the largest breakfast beat me, the medium I could just about manage but the smallest which comprises one sausage, egg, rasher of bacon, baked beans, a slice of toast all washed down with a good cup of tea is perfect for me at a very reasonable £6. The café is hidden from view from the road but is easy enough to find. A car park and on street parking has always had space when I’ve visited. It’s worth noting that the café isn’t open on Mondays (or Sundays?) and closes at 1:45pm Highly recommended.

Have been a few times to this little gem and love it. It’s always consistent, the food is perfectly cooked and arrives hot, fresh and with little waiting time. The staff are friendly, bending over backwards to accommodate and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended

I’ve been coming to the Surrey Hills Cafe for a number of years and it just keeps getting better and better. The breakfasts are large, high quality and very reasonably priced. Facilities are very clean and you can see the effort made by the owner to make all guests very welcome. Great stopping point for me as a biker just off the A25 in Beare Green and all the amazing surrounding countryside. Added bonus is comfortable seating outside and adjacent parking for bikes. Highly recommend to all fellow bikers as one of the best biker friendly cafes in the area!

To echo my sisters review, a really lovely spread. Nicky couldn’t have done more for us. Generous portions of fresh food and tea kept coming. Attentive, friendly service and a really lovely setting. This cafe deserves to succeed and I highly recommend

We have just had the most amazing afternoon tea for my Dad’s 80th Birthday. Nicki, the owner, made us all feel very welcome. The table was set beautifully ready for our arrival with china cups, saucers and plates. It looked lovely. From start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. All of our dietary requirements were met and the food was wonderful. All fresh and home made. We started off with a selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls and quiches (including a vegetarian option) as well as various salads for those who didn’t want sandwiches. We then had fruit scones, clotted cream and jam. We ended with a beautiful home made Victoria sponge birthday cake (my Dad’s favourite), covered in fresh strawberries and buttercream. Throughout our visit, there was copious amounts of tea and other refreshments. Thank you Nicki and the team for giving us all such a lovely time. I really can’t recommend Surrey Hills Cafe highly enough.

Ordered ‘takeaway’ Mothers Day afternoon tea. It was divine, so tasty, a lovely selection of items, well presented and professionally made. We have also enjoyed a few delicious breakfasts which include fried bread and bubble and squeak. All products are of a top quality. Staff are friendly and the cafe is spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!!

Surrey Hills is a wonderful cafe in the heart of Beare Green that would appeal to everyone. It has an understated quality that is apparent with their friendly and efficient approach, their tasty food, and the overall ambiance of the cafe. We had a lovely breakfast at lunchtime which is my favorite. We look forward to going back again soon.

My wife and I had been visiting racing stables in Beare Green and we spotted this little cafe from the road. It is tucked away in a courtyard with chairs and tables outside and inside. Being a sunny day we opted to eat al fresco. The premises are spotlessly clean and the reception given to customers is very welcoming.. We ordered sausage and mash and meat pie and chips. Both came with peas and gravy. Both meals were really tasty and the high quality of the ingredients was evident. The inhabitants of Beare Green are lucky to have such a delightful cafe on their doorstep.

A friendly, comfortable little cafe with great food! The new owner has worked wonders to transform this from a slightly erratic declining cafe to a thriving friendly place. A brand new fully refitted kitchen provides tasty hot food, with many items baked instead of fried, cutting down on calories and improving the taste. There's a lovely breakfast, and a lunch menu from 1130hrs. Decent coffee too. And to cap it all, the chairs have padded feet, to prevent the brain-splintering scraping that you get in other cafes! If you're in and around Dorking, Leith Hill or Horsham, come here! Great cycling and walking country, close to Holmwood Station and the 21 and 93 buses.

Visited this cafe today with my partner and our dog. We were all made to feel very welcome. The outdoor seating area is spacious, clean and tidy. There was plenty of choice on the menu. I had the Eggs Royale & my partner the vegetarian breakfast both tasted great with good presentation. Definitely worth a visit.

I’ve bought a number of lockdown treats from the Surrey Hills Cafe to give as gifts - afternoon teas, boxes of cakes and an amazing salted caramel cake for my daughter’s 18th birthday. Everything we’ve bought has been delicious as well as looking fantastic. Service is always brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for Nicki and team - including request to make birthday cake dairy free. Highly recommend!

I have breakfast here twice a week. Top quality breakfast and best value locally. The cafe is very clean and they have tables outside so you can socially distance even more than inside. The variety of food on offer is good and plenty of choice....

Just a chance drop-in but well worth it. Lovely bacon & egg sandwich and good coffee. Popular with locals by the looks of the other diners. Give it a try.

My son and I love going to our local cafe - the food is deeeelicious, the ladies are lovely and very welcoming and I think the prices are reasonable. Plus it's had a makeover and no longer has greasy walls!

This café is situated in the tiny retail development of Beare Green just off the A24. The previous owner used to serve up one of the best cooked breakfasts to be had in the area. It was regrettably also one of the grubbiest & dirtiest...

I drive past 4 other cafes, offering a similar choice, as this is worth the milage. Great food and coffee. Dog friendly
