What a hidden gem in a beautiful village. The staff were polite, well mannered, and nothing was too much for them. We had tea & toasties before our falconry experience locally. Had to return again afterwards. Prices are really good. Lots of friendly cyclists stopping and travelling through. You must pop in when travelling through.

What a little gems The Reading Rooms are. I visit here regularly for coffee and cake pitstop or post walks. Not only are we always made very welcome the doggies are also well catered for. Treats a plenty for humans and dogs alike. The staff are always super friendly. Rain or shine this little gems is a must!!!

Lovely spot. Very busy but it's because it's the best place around and a gorgeous independent little local venue. #supportlocalbusiness Fantastic coffee and pastries. Dog friendly including their own menu. Recommend 100%. One wish is they'd get parasols outside ❤️

Amazing stop for cycling with great food and a handy side passage to store bikes. I find the nice real chocolate sprinkles on the cappuccino to be amazing. Staff super friendly and range of savoury items, especially the toasted sandwiches to be excellent.

Who ever thought of this, what a great idea, using a beer barrel to hold and dispense water. It keeps the planters and dog bowls topped up and it looks great. Its the little things that make for a great service. Top marks to The Reading Room

Had great takeaway coffee from The Reading Room on Brockham green a couple of days ago with my sister. During the lock down it is only open for takeaways and a selection of mainly gourmet groceries. Lovely village with wonderful views of Box Hill and the North Downs. The village has changed very little over the years thank goodness.

We went here for breakfast on a Friday morning. The weather was nice so they were able to have the big front doors open so we could sit in the breeze overlooking the village green. We both ordered the granola pot with natural yogurt and mixed berries (there was also a vegan version of this available). It was delicious with lovely presentation. The service was quick and very friendly. Looking forward to going back soon.

Five of us enjoyed our first visit to this cafe, which is situated in the old village hall overlooking the green in the lovely village of Brockham in the Surrey Hills area. We had very coffee and sampled two of their excellent homemade cakes. Their menu included breakfasts and a range of options for lunch at what looked to be good value prices, especially given the area we were in. Service was warm and friendly and we will certainly visit again. What a find!

We have just returned from a superb evening at The Reading Room in Brockham where we celebrated Valentines Evening. The little restaurant was delightfully decorated with pink and white hearts and an abundance of beautiful fresh flowers. The tables looked pretty with white crisp linen and twinkly candles. We were welcomed by a friendly waitress who took our coats, showed us to the table and offered us our glass of champagne. The four course meal was delicious, well presented and cooked before us by the chef, my lamb was excellent. The ambiance was peaceful, friendly and intimate without being too intrusive. I hope this will be the first of many pop up evenings at The Reading Room, I can certainly recommend them.

This is a delightful upmarket cafe on the green at Brockham. I often deviate through Brockham on the way South (rather than take the A24) just so I can stop here for a snack. The coffee and cake options are numerous and there is a vast variety of food for snacks or lunch. What makes it delightful is that is very dog friendly. The cakes and sandwiches are delicious.Well worth a visit

Hidden in Great Bookham is a charming, warm and quality focused Tea/ Coffee / brunch / lunch / cake … place, that has got the balance perfect. Service, quality , Ambiance and price meet in, what I can only call: perfection. We had brunch, lunch and afternoon tea here and have never been disappointed. The little garden behind the building is a tiny oasis if you want to sit outside.

A true outstanding culinary experience using the finest ingredients. Their pizzas were really delicious and the owner Mark has a passion for excellent quality food. Ditch the UPFs and give yourself a treat. Best pizzas in Surrey. A casual dining run by someone who knows what good, high quality food is.

I’m a local dog walker and use Ashtead cafe regularly, always find customer service is 10/10.. thoroughly enjoy a fry up and absolutely love their smoothies! It’s recently undergone a refurb and it looks amazing double the size and very Morden!

Reviews seemed good so gave it a spin. Asked for half pounder with cheese and bacon & chips. Rather than be told they don't do half pounders, I was served up two super skinny burgers, exceptionally dry, nothing special, minus the bacon. Took almost 15 minutes to come out. Disappointing. The salt lid wasn't properly secured, went all over the chips rendering them inedible. No offer of replacement. Left hungry. Won't return, poor quality food and equally poor service.
