Small and really friendly, it has a home made feel but the food is anything but home made - amazing quality, some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had. Proper high level fancy restaurant stuff We’ll be back with the kids next month

We joined the Asian themed Supper Club in July and were really impressed. The quality of the food was incredible - everything had been made from scratch and with love! The flavours were so varied. As occasional meat eaters we were converted to 100% plant based as the menu was so diverse! Lovely to see a husband/wife team so passionate about their business - the service and atmosphere was intimate and relaxed. We will defo be booking into the next supper club event!

From my initial contact with Mark, he could not have been more helpful in arranging a surprise 50th dinner. Mark offered menu suggestions and themes, was happy to revise them based on my preferences, and he made the organisation, payment and entire process simple and straightforward. Mark and Zoe arrived on time, and was exceptionally well prepared, and whilst Mark busied himself in the kitchen Zoe was happy to help put the finishing touches to the dining room. The food was superb (shout out to Zoe for the home made bread), served effortlessly and in a relaxed manner which made the evening all the more special. At the end of the evening, the kitchen was left absolutely spotless - you certainly wouldn’t know that it had been used by such an amazing chef - and Mark and Zoe left us chatting with our guests. The value for money was terrific and I could not recommend Mark more highly. Thank you so much for making this such a special occasion!

This place its a delight! I recently tried their Pizza and it blew my mind. They gave me the option to add truffle oil which made it so dreamy. I have also been to the Mexican supper club Chef Ben put on and as a Mexican myself, I can say the dishes were so authentic and splendid! Vegan or not, this is a place you cannot miss and im sure you will always come back.

A wonderful vegan restaurant which is well worth a visit. Their monthly themed evenings are a great experience with delicious, healthy food and great service. The staff can’t be faulted at all. The food is so creative, can’t praise highly enough. We attended their recent Mexican evening where owner Mark was joined by guest chef Ben who created a brilliant menu. My 12 year son (very much a food critic!) said that the butternut squash & red pepper soup was “the best soup I’ve ever tasted”. 5 stars from all of us!

We stopped here on a road trip having seen the excellent reviews and weren’t disappointed! The curry and Buddha bowl left us with amazing flavours in the mouth, and we couldn’t resist picking up a cheese cake and lemon and blueberry cake for later in the day. Really lovely staff, a great vibe, highly recommend.

Came in last week with our baby for a coffee and pastry and they were so friendly and made us feel very at ease (and helped us find space for our large pram inside!)

Plant based whole foods for the win 🙌 This was our first visit and we’ll be back to try the whole menu as every dish sounded delicious. Great coffee as well and a nice chilled atmosphere. Hopefully you’ll be open weekends soon so I can come more often.

We really enjoyed our first supper club on Saturday, having previously just had yummy cakes to go, and hope to return for a lunch LHCveg Meetup on Friday :-) Thanks to Mark, Zoe and team.

This establishment is only open Fridays for 4 hours. Has a limited menu is small and has no parking. The quality of the food and friendliness of Mark and Zoe compensates for all . They were undergoing a spot h&s inspection when we arrived. The inspector had no concern for customers and Mark had to keep apologising but got at 5 star review! For our trouble/patience, he gifted us with delicious truffles to take away. I was so impressed with the product I've ordered a box of 10 as a gift for friends.

We have just been to one of Rawcous Supper Club evenings and the food was spectacular! Every course was carefully thought out and the way Mark packs in so much flavour, it’s every foodies dream. Visiting is an absolute must, whether you’re vegan or otherwise!

We enjoyed a delicious 4 course treat at the Rawcous Supper Club in Bookham. The vibe is intimate, friendly and informal. It feels like you are at Mark's own dinner table! The attention to detail, the depth of flavour and the quality of the food make this an absolute gem of the High Street. In addition, there's the wholesome reassurance that the kitchen strives for its eco-friendly ethos, sources local and seasonal produce and packs a punch with its plant based power! Incredible! Delicious vegan lunch! We live locally but have only just found this little hidden gem. My husband and I both had a buddha bowl and would definitely recommend. The food was fresh, nourishing and tasty. Thank you Zoe & Mark…we will definitely be back 😊

The Italian themed supper club was fantastic. Really tasty food and great ambience. I would rate their plant based Tiramisu the best around. A friendly and unpretentious restaurant that serves delicious food and good quality wine. I highly recommend and would definitely be going for more.

We were recommended Rawcous Kitchen's supper clubs and took two friends along with us to one of the August dates. We were the first to arrive but others soon followed and the dining room was soon buzzing. After a glass of prosecco, we ordered a bottle of red wine which was both reasonably priced and very good. The food was delicious especially the vegan mozzarella which fooled us all - we were convinced it was the real thing! This was followed by a gazpacho before the main course of risotto arrived. Tiramisu completed this winning line-up. The combination of ambience and delicious vegan food made for a most enjoyable evening - we'll be back!

Have enjoyed excellent meals at Rawcous Kitchen especially the Supper Club which is a real treat. Menus are interesting, prices reasonable and staff friendly. I would highly recommend Rawcous Kitchen.

I am not a vegan or vegetarian but love the dishes. Excellent coffee and main menu. We attended one of the special evening events. There are just 2 every month. It was an excellent 3 course menu plus an amuse bouche and pre-dessert. It has a limited beer and wine list but good value.

This was our second visit and once again we had an absolutely delicious meal and fabulous service. Can’t wait to go again.

Incredible staff. So friendly, and wait until you try the coffee! WOW. Amazing potential, tucked in the heart of Bookham and really portraying how vegan food is up and coming. A true artist at making yummy food, drinks and with a smile on Mark's face!

Great tasting food for vegans and non vegans alike. I love that a lot of the food is air fried and is is all really tasty and they do a supper club too which is a great idea. A real hidden gem for the local area you really don't have to be vegan to be amazed at the deliciousness of this food.

Oh my goodness - this place is AMAZING. Firstly, the interior is adorable and so stylish. Really comfortable but a great environment - good vibes as the sign on the wall says! Secondly, the staff are beyond friendly. Really, really lovely and helpful. Lastly, the food.... I want to eat here everyday! I had the soup and my friend had the rainbow wrap but I plan to come back and eat my way through the menu. Delicious vegan food in a gorgeous setting! p.s. the soup was a brilliant portion not small and very filling!

This Cafe is very clean, tidy and well presented, staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Great customer service, food was TASTY!!! and toilets very clean & smell nice too. Have no complaints!

As a non vegan we ate here anyway and absolutely loved it. I'm a fussy coffee drinker and the Latte and Cappuccino was possibly the best I've had! The Pad Thai was delicious and brownie and custard cream cake just amazing. Such a friendly cafe, vegan or non-vegan we shall be back. Great atmosphere and value for money. Highly recommended a visit if you're looking for breakfast, lunch or a coffee in Great Bookham.

I've become a regular at Rawcous - I find myself coming back because I always come out feeling nourished. I'm not vegan and not even that health conscious but the food always makes me feel pretty good. I tried the Poke/Sushi/Buddha Bowl - and it was delicious. The food is best enjoyed in, mainly cause you get really good quality drinking water and locally made sourdough bread.

Absolutely delicious food. We had the shiitake ramen, avocado on sourdough, cakes and coffee. The restaurant itself is cosy and attractive, and the presentation on the cakes is lovely. Can’t wait to come back.

Our first visit to this wonderful restaurant. As two vegans, we really value having this vegan restaurant nearby. We came to the Christmas Supper Club. The menu was creative and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was really friendly and relaxed. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Popped in for a coffee but decided on their carrot and coriander soup as it was such a cold day. What a good choice, utterly delicious! Definitely recommend 👌

Had lunch with friends last week as we had a bridal dress appointment over the road so stumbled across this wonderful vegan restaurant! We aren’t vegan but the food was so good! Staff were really accommodating to my 11 month baby and organised a high chair abs space for the buggy! My baby enjoyed the homemade soup and sourdough bread and my friends and I devoured the vegan chilli and brownies! Great portions, made with care and lots of flavour! The oat latte I ordered was also one of the best I’ve ever had! I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Met some friends here last week as one of the group is getting married and we had an appointment over the road at a bridal shop! What a lovely find!! So warm and inviting it was a nice surprise. I also had my baby and the staff were lovely and helped me park my buggy and sorted out a high chair. My 11 month tried the homemade soup and sourdough it was delicious as was my vegan chilli. The portions were a good size and my oat latte was up there as one of the best I’ve had! Also be sure to try their moist vegan brownie. I could not fault the place! It makes me so happy to give my business to small independent cafes’ like this and it’s a bonus it happens to be vegan and environmentally friendly. Defo will be back for more!

Used to go here often when it was The Crazy Bean & loved the food. Was very disappointed to discover it had changed but heard that the food was still good so a group of friends organised getting a take away lunch. I understand that choices are limited but a curry with a fancy name was decided upon The others are all meat eaters & enjoyed it saying they could all easily be vegetarian if all the food was like this so reading the previous reviews I am the odd one out. I thought it was horrible. Potato & rice in sauce. That was all it was. God help you if you are vegan & diabetic

Lovely atmosphere and great food!

Excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. So far, I’ve tried 3 of their main dishes and have very much enjoyed each one. They even have beer that has been chosen to accompany different types of meals.

Loved the new restaurant and the ethos behind it. To be able to get healthy organic and hearty meals is great. Health is wealth. I can't wait to go back to sample more of the menu.

We had a fantastic evening at a Friday supper club, great food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Zoe and Mark were very welcoming, I really loved the wild mushroom risotto and the sticky toffee pudding was incredible - will be back for more.

We went to the Rawcous Kitchen first supper club and it was delicious! Gorgeous three courses with amuse bouche and the best vegan chocolate mouse I have ever had! Mark and Zoe are the most stunning hosts, the atmosphere was perfect and we had a really memorable evening. It is rare to find a fully vegan restaurant with food made with such love, and lovely wine to choose from, we loved it and will be back soon! Very special, Thank you.

We had such a lovely time at the Rawcous Supper Club. The food was really delicious, all served beautifully in lovely dishes. A really friendly and welcoming atmosphere too. Mark and Zoe have created a really special place.

We had a 60th Birthday Celebration at Rawcous for 20 people and took over the whole restaurant. Zoe and Mark we so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We had a choice of starter main and dessert and our guests were able to have 2 or 3 courses. They also adjusted the menu to make sure special dietary requirements were catered for. The menu was vegan and all the non vegans were very happy with the menu choices. We would recommend Rawcous to everyone, vegans and non vegans alike, the food is excellent. Can’t wait to visit again!

Went to a supper club here in October. The food was incredible from start to finish - packed with flavour, generous portions and beautifully presented. You can tell Mark the chef is passionate about his work. Would recommend to anyone, vegan or not. Lovely ambience too. They also do delicious coffee, cakes and lunch options. Great little local.

Fantastic vegan cafe/restaurant offering a delicious selection of freshly cooked, healthy vegan dishes. Have been for a couple of lovely lunches and also attended their Supper Club where the food was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely lunch at Rawcous Kitchen yesterday. Mushroom risotto was rich and succulent, cooked to perfection. Loved the sourdough bread with a garlic drizzle on the side. Also had some cakes and brownies as a takeout and they were all delicious. Mark certainly knows how to spoil his customers. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

Visited Rawcous Kitchen a few weeks ago. My wife and I had the Mushroom Risotto and I have to say it was amazing. I am not vegan myself, but the risotto was another level to anything Ive tasted elsewhere. The food came really well presented and accompanied with delicious homemade sourdough. Great food and service from a great little family run business, great to see and the standard of food was exceptional. Will be visiting again on my next trip to Bookham.
