I go to Brown's twice a week. Everyone I've brought to Brown's has been just as impressed as I am with the food and service. The variety of cakes (many being gluten free and dairy free) are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is very warm and homey, which is why I'm often taking my time to finish my food. The owner is very generous and kind, often seeking feedback on her establishment to make sure her costumers are happy.

Very cosy atmosphere; deep comfy sofas and lovely feel to the place. Great to have something like this in walking distance of Aldi and other shops; perfect to relax. Very clean toilet facilities as well, with changing facilities for babies and toddlers. Will definitely revisit! Thank you for helping me out today :-)

I have now become a regular customer here. The service is very friendly, the variety of drinks, specials, food and cakes is brilliant. They offer many products that are gluten and/or diary free and will always try to accommodate any special food/drink requests. All I can say is pop in and try it for yourself!!!

Have been in a few times (try the malteaser cake!) over the past few months and today the cafe hosted my daughter's birthday party. They did a fabulous job - they were great with the children, played lots of party games, very generous with food and party bags and made it all look effortless! It's a clean, cosy cafe with a lovely atmosphere. We'll keep visiting!

Went in today as was feeling a bit blue with a sore throat and decided to try their vegan peanut butter flavoured hot chocolates with Almond milk, wow what a treat, really soothing to my poorly throat. The owner popped out to chat as I was lounging on their sofa on my own, left after a while with a big smile on my face, I love that place.

Having been introduced to this cafe by a friend who is dairy and gluten intolerant, although I am not, I always go here for coffee. The staff are very friendly, efficient and provide a great service. Go try the polenta cake and other goodies.

We came as a family (or 7) for breakfast and felt really at home. We got a genuinely friendly welcome and received excellent service. We had a range of baguettes with sausage & bacon and a few full breakfasts. Everyone cleared everything and thoroughly enjoyed. It was so good we returned again the next day for round 2 - it was only a previous commitment that prevented us going back again on day 3.I've been told (by my daughter) that the millionaire shortbread frappe is amazing - I stuck to coffee and a full English breakfast and certainly wasn't disappointed.

Love this little gem. There's a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We've been in lots of times with and without the kids. Food is lovely, good sized portions. The kids birthday parties they hold there are fantastic. Well done, you've really turned it around since you've taken over.

Great place to relax with good portions of delicious food, cakes and a variety of hot and cold drinks from iced coffee to hot chocolate. Loved the fact that they cater for gluten, dairy free and vegan, and that they cater for coffee mornings and private parties. Friendly staff and good prices, can't ask for more really!

Took a client here for a quick bite and it was super. Bottles of salad cream and mayonnaise appeared in case we didn't have enough in our baguettes, which were served with salad and crisps - always a good touch. Four of us under £20 including drinks can't be bad

Popped in with my family on the recomendation of a friend. We ordered a high tea for 3. The friendly service we received was second to none. My mum is gluten intolerant which makes life a bit hard when going out for a meal, we asked if they can accomodate towards my mums intolerance. Wow....to say we were surprised, a cafe that caters for not just gluten intolerance but dairy intolerance as well. We were impressed already! We were given a choice of sandwiches, homemade scones and homemade tray bakes. My mum was happy she could enjoy a meal out with us with no fuss. She could even have her own home made brownie...all gluten free. The high tea was HUGE!! Definate value for money. Fresh, tasty and excellent quality of food. Nothing was too much to ask for and the service was excellent. If you're looking for a nice relaxing atmosphere with friendly service, then i highly recommend Browns Coffee House! You will not be disappointed.

I've been to Browns a couple of times now and service and quality of food has been second to none. I almost didn't want to write a review because I'm worried it'll get too popular! The food is fresh and delicious and there has always been a good choice of cakes or brownies to have for desert! Such a lovely atmosphere and I can't wait to go back again :) but shhhh! It's fareham's best kept secret!

84 By the Shore is literally on the shore, if you’re passing on one of your walks, say hello to Emma and Adam and treat yourself you will not be disappointed. Fantastic selection of drinks and too many treats to choose from. They do the best coffee! Also doggy treats available and we all like happy doggies. We visit most Sundays on our Sunday walk.

Really good value, good portions, plenty of toppings, nice light waffles and the milkshakes are good too. Arguably better than the bigger chains. Edit: Aug 2024. Really need to clean or replace the chairs. Not nice. Dropped a star because of this. Still great deserts though
