What a find! Located a couple of doors down from the Crown Hotel on the same side of the street in Lyndhurst. Hubby the coffee snob loved the coffee, and they grind their own here too. Personally a tea drinker, yet a lovely cuppa and a great naughty cake choice. Lovely lady behind the counter, presumed the owner, very chatty and friendly. Great place, highly recommended.

Love this newer cafe atmosphere. Terrific coffee and pastries. Bought a taster coffee bean pack to try back home. Super clean and lovely owners. Roasting coffee on the premises. We will be back. Go and try it for yourself.

We recently stayed for a week in Lyndhurst and, in between walking and enjoying the New Forest, we found ourselves inexctribably drawn back again and again to this great little coffee shop. They roast and grind their own coffee for the cafe but also to sell, a couple of bags of which made the return journey to Hertfordshire. The staff were also really welcoming to us. A definitite stop for anyone in this neck of the woods (forest!)

Fantastic coffee, amazing service and the actual shop, considering it’s next to the high street is very peaceful and relaxing. So glad to have stumbled upon this place… would highly recommend above and beyond a lot of the other coffee places… plus you can buy and take their coffee away to enjoy at home… (my new local so to speak).

We were away in lyndhurst for a weekend away. We went in on a couple of occasions my husband can recommend the coffee and is planning to order beans to have at home. I enjoyed a lovely chai latte and can definitely recommend the sweet treats there too

We had an amazing work's Christmas lunch at Forest Edge! Planning lunch for 12 was really easy, and Robyn sent us a menu so we could choose and preorder our food. We all struggled to choose (so many yummy options!) but the majority went with a turkey, stuffing and Christmas slaw sourdough toasted sandwich- OMG it was delicious! We also chose a hot drink and cake, there were many mouth watering options. The staff were attentive and the food came out perfect without a hitch. Our tables were decorated in christmassy bits too, amazing in every way thank you Robyn and team FE x

I love this place. Great coffee, really nice little coffee shop with its own roasters. Dog friendly, owner friendly and lovely staff. It’s the best coffee shop in Lyndhurst.

For years it was an abandoned restaurant, then a Deli that didn't work out, a bathroom shop (I bought mine there!) that fell to covid..., until finally we - the lucky lads & ladies of Lyndhurst - struck gold and landed our very own roastery and café. Forest Edge Roasting has become my favourite place in the town. The coffee is roasted on-site and smells/tastes great, the staff are all welcoming, friendly and happy to indulge your conversational whims if desired, or leave you be if - like me - you just sit down and start reading. There are a variety of sweet treats and a couple of savoury if you want to indulge. Dogs are welcome and the relaxed atmosphere plus all of the above make it a real treat to spend time there. Monday is typically roasting day and as a result it's easy to follow your nose to the front door at the top of the high street.

Happened across this coffee shop and so pleased we did. The coffee and cake were amazing. Our dogs were made to feel very welcome with dog beds provided, which was a really nice touch. Friendly service and clean. Highly recommended

I've previously reviewed this establishment and it is now our go to when we come to the new forest. Start off with a coffee and a cake. Always clean and friendly. Consistently great coffee. The store design is fantastic and love seeing the open roasting area. As a gift my wife bought us the coffee roasting experience and it did not disappoint. Jo and Joe were fantastic, very open and friendly. We learned a lot and built on previous knowledge. We discussed aspects of roasting that I had never considered before and gave an appreciation for the work they do to ensure their blends are as good as they are. We are going to be trying our blend tomorrow as it has been sitting on the shelf teasing us all week. For any enthusiasts this experience will be money well spent.

Fantastic coffee and friendly service at this lovely, calm cafe. Without doubt the best coffee we had whilst in the New Forest. Highly recommended.

We had this coffee recommended to us by a friend who has a coffee subscription through Forest Edge, and thought we'd pop in to try the coffee ourselves. The coffee is delicious, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. We love it and will definitely return. Costa just lost our business!

Me and my misses popped in here as we wanted a cup of coffee, but when we went in, the atmosphere was lovely, clean and well decorated, the owner was really nice, smiley and chatty. The coffee itself was one of the best we've had and will definitely be buying their beans for our expresso bean-to-cup! We look forward to popping back in next time we're in the area, and attending the roastery to learn how it's done.

Lovely coffee, good cake, modern surroundings reminding me of Scandinavian coffee shops. Would highly recommend popping in. Less busy than the main cafes further down the road when we visited too

Was just passing and decided to pop in. Staff were super welcoming and talked me through what was suitable for me (being vegan). Really beautiful space. Amazing modern addition to Lyndhurst. Will be back!

We moved to Burley recently and have really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at the WB. They make a really valuable contribution to the community and have some fun events (e.g. quizzes, discos, book clubs, etc). The staff and volunteers work really hard to make everyone feel welcome. Also offers the cheapest drinks in Burley!

Granary bread was lovely and the bacon and cheese pastry was described as the best ever eaten. Belgian bun was soft and much better than some tough ones. Staff very friendly and treated everyone as valued customers which many places don't. Would definitely visit again when in area and recommend to others
