Wow, this place continues to empress me. What more does someone want in the morning: brilliant flat white, great relaxed vibe, friendly staff. I opted for the Korean hash which totally blew me away. Just the right spice, lovely sauce, tender fall apart beef complemented by the onions. Possibly the tastiest different breakfast I’ve had! My wife had the full English: home made hash browns, crispy and light. Herby farmyard sausage, sweet little tomatoes and thick crispy bacon. Go here, just what the Dr ordered!

So, a year on, and breakfasts are flying out hard and fast. Just had "The Queens English" and regret to say its the best full English in East Sussex, and Jeremy's not even here! Other bites include Korean Hash, bubble n squeak and more delights. Real focus on quality ingredients superbly cooked. Best atmosphere too.

3 of us popped in as a treat yesterday for lunch We had ham and eggs, Avocado with poached egg on toast and The big chic sandwich plus 2 hot drinks and 2 soft drinks Ever dish looked amazing. The eggs yolks on the dishes were vibrant and tasted like eggs from my youth. My ham was thinly sliced, studded with peppercorns and so so tasty. My partner had The Big Chick , tasty, spicy and stacked high Our guest had the avocado with eggs and he was more than pleased. It's a great place to chat and catch up. The price for all 3 of us including drinks was under £30. I'll be back to try the salt beef next time. It was

Yum amazing! I love Rueben sandwiches and have had a proper New York Style Rueben but a Queens Deli Rueben was something special! Loads of thick corn beef and cheese... very special place. With cheeses and meats and interesting things to drink. I had a ginger and chili drink and it was nice and refreshing. Stop by here and you won’t be sorry! Glad a friend told us about this place! Lovely lovely lovely food :)

I've visited Queens Deli on several occasions with friends, family, for business and with my wife and little boy. Every visit has delivered consistently good food and service. The owner Jez is a lovely guy and really goes out of his way to ensure you're happy with everything. The place has a great vibe and I've enjoyed breakfasts, lunches and even just a coffee. The salt beef is amazing and the hash (Koren or standard!) is a top favourite dish.

We heard about this place and man am I glad we went there for breakfast. The Queens Breakfast and the Corn Beef Hash were amazing. We all tried a few things all of which were excellent. Jes and his crew are fun but more importantly amazing in the kitchen. Highly recommend them. Don from Texas

Deli with tables. Or cafterant with shopping. Very enjoyable and delicious tapassy sharing plate food that you can keep topping up, proper hard core sandwiches - though the word doesn’t do them justice - plus very good coffee and drinks. Limited wine by the glass, but some fantastic ones by the bottle, so go with a couple of friends so you can have more than one ; ). Relaxed, friendly atmosphere and knowledgable owner who is expert on foods, likes to get great provisions, and knows what to do with them. Recommended and unique.

It seems Queen’s grows increasingly popular, and deservedly so. I thought that it was just home cooked, but I learned today that they make their own sausages, cook their own rosemary ham (either to buy to take home, or use in the cafe). Appreciated by foodies, great music, very relaxed about top quality produce. I tried the poached eggs in yoghurt (Ottolenghi style) - divine. Breakfasts, lunches and weekend suppers are served - and I only live round the corner!

I have been meaning to come in to this place for a while. This afternoon my girlfriend and our two children walked up Queens Road and being desperate for a flat white I suggested we try the Deli. Just for a flat white. From the outside I thought it was small but as I entered I was really surprised that it went back quite far and any fears of being squashed up (i take up a lot of room anyway) were squished. I left my girlfriend and youngest daughter sat on a stool at the counter and took my eldest to the toilet which is down some stairs and around the corner. By the time I came upstairs to my further surprise my girlfriend was sipping on a cold bottled beer! We just are not beer sipping whilst shopping afternoon type people but Bob Marley was playing and the atmosphere just lent itself to it so I grabbed a beer too and it was lovely. My eldest daughter had one of the soft drinks and we just chilled. Then I ordered the flat white which I came in for and it was really good. Smooth and very tasty. I ended up spending £26 bag on a bag of the coffee beans it was so good. However, the toasted reuben sandwich was a game changer. We ordered it having no idea what it would taste like. Just one to share as we were not massively hungry. My god how good it was! The owner said it had the elements of a Big Mac and it did feel just like that. Every mouthful was a delight and I blinking well loved it. Everything else is just a sandwich now. Ill need a toasted reuben regularly otherwise I can only see sadness in my future. I look forward to my return and the staff should be very proud of what they have created.

Fell upon the deli last week just strolling up and down St Helens Road. Nipped in for a coffee and ended up having a fabulous luncheon....cannot recommend the Reuben salt beef toastie enough - gorgeously cooked salt beef with a range of cheeses in a sourdough bread with a lovely sauce. The soup for my veggie partner was delicious. Jez and the team were very accommodating of the 2 kids sorting them out with a toastie and answering any questions we had about food and anything Hastings. I had a taste of the salt beef and the homemade kimchi prior to purchase. We were so impressed that we make sure we went back the next day for a cheeky coffee.

Visited Queens Deli yesterday for the first time, certainly won’t be the last. My chilli Reuben was without a doubt the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. My partner said the same about his salt beef sandwich- the first time he’d ever had salt beef, in fact he didn’t even know what salt beef was. The coffee was also great, I would say the best coffee I’ve had in the Hastings area, and I’m pretty fussy about my coffee. It’s a great space, the staff were all lovely and I left with a bag full of goodies. Shall I stop drooling now ...?

We stumbled across this brilliant place on a day-trip to Hasting - more the sort of deli you'd expect to find in trendy London. Their coffee and salt-beef sandwiches with kimchi were superb. They had an amazing array of food stuff and culinary bits and pieces. Unfortunately we just couldn't leave without buying a huge bag full of cured meats, cheeses, preserves and pickles - I particularly liked their Rustiici bread sticks and Brillat-Savarin cheese. I wanted to buy the huge paella pan but was banned by my wife ! We'll definitely be back.

I would have taken a photo before I ate most of it, but the brownies here are stuffed with chocolate but somehow aren't sickly sweet! The selection of hot chocolate is amazing, and my mum informed me that the lattes are great! Definitely worth a drop-in.

This is a traditional British greasy spoon which alongside the fry ups also does a selection of Thai and Cambodian dishes. Run by a very friendly Cambodian couple, it delivers authentic and tasty dishes at budget prices. Its not open in the evenings and is not a fine dining experience, and as all the Asian food is cooked fresh from scratch so takes a little while, but it is definitely worth it for the best plate of Pad Thai I've had in the UK!

Literally never review but thought id take the time to write a review. Delicious and high quality sushi for incredible price, way better than places like YO! Ordered twice now in the last couple weeks and tomorrow will be a third! They even threw in free veggie gyoza which were delicious and was really kind of them :) Going to continue having them as my go to sushi stop. PS. Please consider making takoyaki! 10/10 would recommend and please support them.
