Brilliant service and value for money food, i was visiting my grandad and got him the small fish n chip for £5.99 great price and great portion size. Would definitely get him this again next time i visit as he loves his chippy !

Just ordered £55 pounds worth off dinner from here and the fish was not even cod it was pollock! How can you put on the menu cod and chips when it wasn’t even cod, Every bit off fish was greasy even the chips and burger, asked for french fries got a phone call to say they didn’t have french fries and asked if we wanted chip shop chips I said yes thankyou that would be lovely. After that conversation they still sent out the smallest off French fries, I have never seen such bad and greasy food ever. The lady on the phone didn’t even want to help I will never order from this place again it is awful! £55 now out off pocket and need to now do something else for dinner!

Usually it's really good.. Only this Friday 4th asked for fish and chips the chips were lovely can't say for the fish I didn't get any... Asked for Jalopeno cheese balls for the partner chips were great too only the balls were not cooked through being still cold inside so can't say for those either... Never had a problem before so hopefully a hiccup.... Be a while before going again though....

Got cod and chips today cost 9.50 the bloke went here it's ready and he didn't wrap it just put it in a paper bag got home opened it up and the cod was so small it was a put a inch wide by about 3 and a half long tiny but that wasn't a problem seeing as it was inevitable as the slimes batter fell off and when I had afork full it was stone cold and watery total waste of money and I won't go back there again charges you all that money and its disgusting o

Was a pleasant surprise how much they had in the way of vegetarian and vegan options. Tried the veggie nuggets and were amazing. Chips were lovely too. Hope they keep it up as it's one of the few with so much choice.

My Granddaughter ordered 2 savaloys and chips for her and her younger sisters lunch, the savaloys were brown inside " not pink" and tasted horrible the younger one is now being ill as she ate more. We went to the restaurant and the person in charge was not interested IN FACT HE WAS DOWNRIGHT RUDE This has now been reported to environmental health. This restaurant will not be used again.

Shocking to say the least, for two pieces of cod and chips each came to nearly £20…. Fish was tasteless, sweet potato fries were burnt, tartare sauce which was on the house was like water and looked out of date. Don’t waste your money

Extremely bad quality and portion size . This delight of a chip butty cost £2.95 possibly 20 chips if that ( mainly the crispy scraps ) served in a burger bun ! Absolutely disgusted . Will never order from here again .

Usually order for delivery and food keeps letting me down by sending either burnt food or missing items so I thought I’ll go down and collect. The big guy at the shop was extremely rude to me , as I wanted to double check all in the bag and want to make him aware of my past experiences, he wasn’t bothered! They made me wait for sometime for collection. At arrival to the shop, several delivery drivers were left waiting outside in the rain and not allowed to go inside until told by the guys at the shop!! ..seeing that treatment these guys at shop provide def put me off as a customer and would never return there again

Great food but just eat are absolutely awful lost loads of money from them deliveryring to wrong address and the fish bar don't care if you want good food collect thats the only good service you will get !!

I've eaten here a few times, mostly collection. About an hour ago I had 2, 1/4 pounders and 2 portions of chicken delivered. Both the burger buns, top and bottom were burnt. The Chicken was okay. Hindsight is wonderful but I wish I had gone elsewhere now. I certainly won't do this again.

I used to visit this fish and chip shop as a child as I lived around the corner from there and it was a favourite tradition of mine that we would have this as a treat every Wednesday. I moved to the other end of Gravesend about 18 years ago and for obvious reasons haven't been going there I've often had cravings for the 1/4-pounder burgers from there as they had a distinct flavour. Just lately all of our local fish and chip shops have gone downhill and we see this pop up on one of the takeaway apps so thought we would give it a try and my god I was transported back to my childhood, the burgers have that exact same taste and all the rest of the food was superb. I assumed it had been taken over by now and after visiting in person last week I see that the elderly gentleman who used to run it is no longer there and it now looks very different to how it did all those years ago but I'm assuming it has been kept in the family as they must be using the same suppliers. The only negative I have is the prices are expensive, especially through the takeaway apps... in my opinion I'm happy to pay more for decent quality food but admittedly this is getting a little close to be being too expensive.

An excellent fish and chip shop. You have to wait a wee while for the fish but its worth the wait as the food is delicious. My friends rave about this place and I can only give equal high ratings. The fish was tasty and the chips first rate. Without doubt this street has the best fish and chip shops.

Disapointing food, pie was shop bought just heated charged us money could have gone to shop and get the same thing, couldn't eat because pie had a sour taste. Large sausage was alright

Ordered a large chips to share, usually a good portion for 4 of us, and literally a third of the box was empty? Charged £7 for barely anything. Really disappointed and won't be going here again.

When you place an order and it gets delivered wrong and you phone the chip shop to tell them they always blame the delivery driver .....why I do NOT know when they have packed the wrong order ...not ordering from here anymore ...no customer service at all .

Just recieved my order. To expensive for what I was given. Was really greasy and made me vomit where I could handle it First and last. Savloys was bloody awful never ate one like that before. Was like this was fried not boiled was like rubber

Ordered from here tonight bit of a mix up with order but we all make mistakes so I rang shop the Boss man himself sorted my order and delivered it, food was fantastic.

I stopped by for a quick takeaway - asked what was ready to go as I did not have time to wait for cooked to order. Was told a 'Medium Cod and chips' were ready.I thenwatched for c. 15 minutes as food was boxed and wrapped mainly for delivery orders - as an afterthought the staff then realised that there was no fish available for my 'quick' order.I was given a substitute that was less than good - grey looking Cod with little taste.
