The fish is fresh and tasty and good size. The chips were delicious. Really good food and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend

After waiting for the stated delivery time, got a call to say no Plaice, so had to wait even longer also missed the curry sauce and never refunded difference between plaice and cod as well as the curry sauce. No apology given

Boring as it may sound Brothers always deliver the goods i.e. tasty hot food delivered efficiently. it is why I keep going back, frankly.

burger was meant to have cheese and salad....had neither, just a burger in between 2 crispy buns...worst burger in the world. you could find a better in a bin...I'm serious it was disgusting. chips meant to have salt and vinegar on, had neither. chips were nasty and had better chips down back of my sofa. do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. I will never order from this place ever again. crapest food ever.

food was late despite the fact I've had many deliveries from this takeaway and many more the driver would not leave his car to deliver the food ,the food was great quality but not hot enough due to the delay

Both curry sauces were cold and solid/jelly in the middle, fish was chewy and the Mac’n’cheese bites were cold too. Never normally have issues with Brothers, but from ordering to delivery was an impressive 30min, so cold food was surprising.

Fish was good - chips were overdone and hard - not the usual standard we have come to expect - a bit of a disappointment.

I can't remember ever having a bad meal from Brothers, and this was ne exception. You can always rely on this restaurant.

The salt and pepper squid was a shame, tiny little strip of squid if it was squid and a massive fat coat of battered , I will never order from them anymore …

Just excellent. Two stunning pieces of cod, two perfectly cooked battered sausages and a portion of chips. Right up there with some of the best f and c we have had. Grandchildren loved the fish and the sausage, made a real change from chicken nuggets. Well done to all concerned.

Maybe they have changed owners or management but this used to be the only chippy I would go to but this place has gone downhill. Just got delivered a split curry sauce and plain chips even though I asked for salt and vinegar TWICE. Attention to detail and consistency is what keeps your customers! will be ordering elsewhere from now on

I was very dissatisfied with the burger ordered a cheese quarter pounder with salad inside the burger was a piece of wet lettuce and no cheese no tomato or onion or gherkin the chips was cold as well . The fish was ok apart from being luke warm batted sausage and savaloy ok but again Luke warm

Order was late and food was barely warm, not happy with my order today at all. Generally they are on time and the food is good and hot.

Chips are absolutely shocking. dry old chips they must have been there all day. Will not be stung again! not interested in contacting the restaurant I will just take my buisness elsewhere.

Food is usually 5 stars from brothers, but tonight will only give 3 out of 5, as there was no flavour to the fish. Requested salad with the burger & only got a few little strands of lettuce

Ordered food at 5 pm on a Friday evening, arrived 2 hours later, cold , small portions and generally lacklustre. Was told on the phone that ‘they are very busy’. No s@&t Sherlock, it was a Friday night 🤷🏻‍♂️. Clearly more concerned with saving a few quid on extra staff than fulfilling orders. AVOID!!

Nice food, as always, and good service except for one gripe. Please read the notes as the doorbell to my flat doesn't work. What is the point of me putting them on if you are going to ignore them. That said, the delivery driver was still friendly and courteous as well as very apologetic about missing the instruction on the notes.

The battered sausage I ordered looked like it had barely any batter, the sausage and chips was so oily, Mt friends pie was OK thought.

Food that we received was great tasting and cooked well. The only issue is that the portion size for the money we paid for has dramatically changed since we ordered last. For example, the chips we ordered large, which last time went between three people. This time, the large portion we ordred turned in to a small portion on delivery, which just went between two people. Wasn't worth the £5.20 spent for a large chips.

Was training day for a young Chanise under the watchful experienced eye of Richard. Must say I really enjoyed my haddock & chips. Clean place with joyful people, love it.

Order a delivery tonight. Food was 11/10 so fresh and tasty. Large cod was massive and chip were so light and fluffy. Highly recommend The Brothers.

Ordered from Brothers Fish Bar tonight, staff on the phone were helpful and polite, my order was delivered in good time and the delivery driver had an electric car which was impressive, food was hot and very tasty, I ordered cod and chips, plus 2 kids meals, will be ordering again for sure.
