Very organised. Fish was ready exactly when they said it would be. Fluffy but crispy chips and lovely thick flakes of white fish in a light batter.

Great food, ordered sausage in batter, chips and wings, yummy! Friendly service and good prices. Would definitely order here again.

I’ve been coming to this place for nearly 5 years now and I even moved to northfleet from sun lane and still come to this chippy. The food is amazing, piping hot and always fresh, the service is great staff are very polite and friendly keep up the good work!

Would zero stars but no option. Just had pie and chips - the worst chips I've ever had and pie was barely warm. I expected better after spending £6 on pie and small chips.

Had my first piece of skate from here on Saturday, it was large, with ample chips, enough for two. The only downside was the fish was cooked for a little too long, maybe five minutes less would have been ideal. The batter was fairly hard, and the fish going dry in places. I'll give it another go shortly and ask for it to be cooked for five minutes less. Nice friendly place.

Solid fish and chip shop, great food and service. Purchased fish and chips for a family of six, good quality food enjoyed by the whole family. I certainly recommend and will be using again.

This is an exceptional establishment in the middle of a tourist Mecca. Clam chowder was different than I expected and elevated in flavor. Fish tasted like it was freshly plucked that day. Service was superb, despite the fact it seems to always be crazy full of people. If you need a respite and some good food in the international Mos Eisley of Fisherman Wharf, look no further.

I found this place over priced, very poor quality and quantity, ordered small cod n chips and large cod n chips with other items to find both cod’s where tiny and lukewarm, plus over cooked hard chips.Will never use again, Would do no star but wasn’t able to as had to leave a review.

Update, were excellent and 5 stars but now only average. The last 2 times that we have used them the chips seemed to be shrivelled and dry as if stale. Tonight the fish was ok, just. Will now be looking for a new chippy.

I just wanted a bag of chips. Been there a few times but every time the fact that someone might want some chops seems to take them by surprise. Was told it would be a couple of minutes. 15 minutes later they were all standing around doing nothing so I had the audacity to ask if there were any chips ready. Girls behind the counter immediately served me a small portion with massively too much salt, fill of sarcastic "thanks for waiting" comments. I won't be bothering with this place again. Small mindinded and incompetent

Great fish and chips, but wish they would keep their hours of opening up to date! Google says "Closing Soon 10:00". Trip Advisor "Open from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM". Phoned them at 8:55 to be told they are just closing. Very frustrating!

I would've given it 5 stars but I find the 'cash only' policy in this day and age pretty annoying. As we continue to move further and further away from cash I think it will eventually cost him business if he doesn't give in to card payments.

I used to go to the fish bar in Perry St, but this is by far better. Best fish and chips in the area, Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent fish and chips the girls what work there are so polite and you get a smile everytime you walk in I would recommend this fish and chip shop to any other one in Gravesend except for Livingstone Road because I've never used this one so I do not know the Echo is freshly cooked ask you to come in one at a time so full marks for this

A great fish and chip shop with great tasting food and friendly staff it is always busy here and many times I've queued out the door but it is well worth it. They accept cash and card payments of over £10

The food is mediocre, they actually put two small fish fillets together to make one larger one. The kids fish bites meal is good value. They only take card orders over £10.

Really good, friendly facility. Menu includes good range of grill options including kebabs, sausages etc. Decent size portions and friendly staff, what’s not to like? I should use it more.

This is definitely the best fish and chips in Gravesend! I’ve tried many other places in town but I’m always left disappointed as the quality and portion sizes are no where near as good as Echo’s!

Food generally good, but prices seem to go up and up on a now monthly basis! Reasons given include, "the cost of chips have gone up". Curiously this hasn't occurred at other fish and chip shops around town. Seems that if you shop on Echo Square you pay a premium for the priviledge.

This is a great choice for fish n chips! Comes in a box with a slice of lemon all freshly cooked while you wait.. you can't go wrong..

A great place to get fish and chips. Although I live a fair way away from this place, we always choose to go here rather than the local chippys as they always give great quality food at great prices. The portion sizes are great, the food tastes great and the prices are great. Can't recommend this place enough.

Visiting from the north west and we ordered three adult meals.What can I say? The cod, placid and rock were absolutely superb!The large chips (enough for all three) were great.I wish they could put this place on wheels and bring it up theM6!!!
