I love this place. The food served here at this family run business is simply delicious! I’ve been here a few times in the past when I was living local to the shop. Easily one of the best chip shops in the area. I may just pop down there tonight!

It's a chippie but it was on Google maps with a very good score so I decided to drive there on the way home with my family who wanted McDonalds and there wasn't any nearby. Well my 5yr old granddaughter emptied her carton that's a first and I have to say those were the best chips I've had in England for many years. So yes it's a chip shop but I give it five stars cos it really is a good one 👍

Fish and chips cooked fresh so steaming hot and plentiful. Had a lovely chat with the owners while I was waiting about Turkey and the best places for sightseeing, win win thankyou.

Although local and within walking distance this was my first visit. A friendly greeting surrounding a colourful shop. After, completing my order and a cash only sale, I walked home. The cod potion was well cooked, no soggy pieces and tasted good. The chips were still nice and hot and thick cut. Altogether a satisfying experience which may be repeated.

Recommended by friends, was not disappointed, food was great, staff warm and friendly, prices amazing compared with other chip shops in town and this had not affected the quality of the food, will definitely be going back and recommend everyone to try.

Will not use this place again I know prices have gone up but 2.50 for small chips and didn't even get a shovel 7.50 for pensioners cod and chips 6.40 fir kids chicken nuggets and chips and a quid for sauce sachet chicken there not priced and when I asked twice the price of kfc and when I paid he short changed me got less than half a portion for double the price one bloke come in after I paid and walked out when I said you ain't dished it up yet can I have money back please he wouldn't so not again

I’ve been coming to this place for nearly 5 years now and I even moved to northfleet from sun lane and still come to this chippy. The food is amazing, piping hot and always fresh, the service is great staff are very polite and friendly keep up the good work!

Would zero stars but no option. Just had pie and chips - the worst chips I've ever had and pie was barely warm. I expected better after spending £6 on pie and small chips.

Had my first piece of skate from here on Saturday, it was large, with ample chips, enough for two. The only downside was the fish was cooked for a little too long, maybe five minutes less would have been ideal. The batter was fairly hard, and the fish going dry in places. I'll give it another go shortly and ask for it to be cooked for five minutes less. Nice friendly place.

This is an exceptional establishment in the middle of a tourist Mecca. Clam chowder was different than I expected and elevated in flavor. Fish tasted like it was freshly plucked that day. Service was superb, despite the fact it seems to always be crazy full of people. If you need a respite and some good food in the international Mos Eisley of Fisherman Wharf, look no further.

First time trying battered halloumi and I must say it was one of the best things I have ever tried you get 4 halloumi in a portion which is more than enough, good stuff guys keep it going

I found this place over priced, very poor quality and quantity, ordered small cod n chips and large cod n chips with other items to find both cod’s where tiny and lukewarm, plus over cooked hard chips. Will never use again, Would do no star but wasn’t able to as had to leave a review.

Update, were excellent and 5 stars but now only average. The last 2 times that we have used them the chips seemed to be shrivelled and dry as if stale. Tonight the fish was ok, just. Will now be looking for a new chippy.

I just wanted a bag of chips. Been there a few times but every time the fact that someone might want some chops seems to take them by surprise. Was told it would be a couple of minutes. 15 minutes later they were all standing around doing nothing so I had the audacity to ask if there were any chips ready. Girls behind the counter immediately served me a small portion with massively too much salt, fill of sarcastic "thanks for waiting" comments. I won't be bothering with this place again. Small mindinded and incompetent

Great fish and chips, but wish they would keep their hours of opening up to date! Google says "Closing Soon 10:00". Trip Advisor "Open from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM". Phoned them at 8:55 to be told they are just closing. Very frustrating!

I would've given it 5 stars but I find the 'cash only' policy in this day and age pretty annoying. As we continue to move further and further away from cash I think it will eventually cost him business if he doesn't give in to card payments.

I used to go to the fish bar in Perry St, but this is by far better. Best fish and chips in the area, Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent fish and chips the girls what work there are so polite and you get a smile everytime you walk in I would recommend this fish and chip shop to any other one in Gravesend except for Livingstone Road because I've never used this one so I do not know the Echo is freshly cooked ask you to come in one at a time so full marks for this
