Incredible fish and chip restaurant! We family holiday to Hastings every year and we always come here! We absolutely love Oceans Eleven staff aswell as their food! You want real proper chips, and of course local fish! So tasty and very good portions for the prices you pay!

Oceans Eleven is no longer operational. Business has new owners... Hooked and Cooked. Best fish and chips by far.

The chips were Uniquely different and to my liking a bit more cooked than most and chunky, perfect for me.

This shop is bery clean and friendly staff, but needs to update the website

I've never had any problems with this fish and chip shop and have been using it for years. With new owners it has a fresh lick of paint and the Oriental statue has disappeared. Top quality fish and chips from one of the area's renowned fryers.

Chips over cooked Saveloy was disgusting Burger tasted like it been deep fried Fishcake was soft About the only food that was OK was the sausage Had to go back to get my order completed as he forgot stuff and then when I said it he was rude about it. Wouldn't use this place again and wouldn't recommend

Having used this takeaway for some years, the different owners have put their stamp upon it. A few years ago it was exceptional, then awful, but subsequently and now it has become hit and miss between great and awful. I’ve tried it recently in the hope of some consistency but I shan’t be using it any more after the last disappointing meal.

Be prepared for a long wait..... Went in for a regular portion of chips and was still waiting 25 minutes later ! Totally unreasonable these days.

I have not had a bad portion of Chips or any other food from here that hasn’t been excellent and definitely not any skinny chips. The chips appear to all be hand cut and are all cooked fresh to order and the staff cannot be any friendlier the moment you enter the shop. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Fish & Chip shop as probably the best in the area/the town. Recommended. Enjoy.

Unfortunately the staff on duty were very rude. Spoke only very loudly amongst themselves. The phone was continuously ringing and they were arguing who was going to answer it, so nobody did. The chips were inedible. Unfortunately will not go there again😥

Truly a first-class fish n chip takeaway!

This place was recommended to me. I'm not sure what happened. The guy got the order wrong, there was a kid climbing on everything, no one was wearing a mask, and it was the greasiest fish and chips I've ever tried to eat in my life 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lovely, fresh and large portions and reasonably priced...

Made a just eat order based on other reviews but wish I hadn't. Only good thing I could say is portion size is really good. But that doesn't really mean anything when the paper wrap it comes looks like tracing paper from pure grease. I held the paper up and it dripped off and burst into my mouth when I took a bite out of the fish.

This place has gone down hill since the new owners took over. The chips have been changed to thin ones and they are soggy every time. Also they always seem to be lots of little ends. The shop is nowhere near as clean as it used to and the staff behind the counter don’t look clean or professional. It was the best fish and chips shop in the area but now it’s the worst. I’ve been a long time customer but won’t be back.

Quite possibly the most awful fish and chips we've ever had the misfortune to eat. The young guy serving, looked like he'd just come off a building site mixing Cement his clothes were so dirty. But most importantly the chips looked and tasted like they were recooked 12 tines in old cooking fat and the cod was all batter which was soaking wet with grease and the fish in it was minimal and tasted awful and not white, more a yellow color. Abdolutely disgusting and will never go back there again

Great Take away fish and chips here that we keep going back for more!! So friendly and helpful and friendly here that you cannot fault them!! Definitely one of the best in Town! Recommend Enjoy

Simple fish and chips shop, no frills but decent quality. The chap at the counter was friendly and patient with us while we chose. Takeaway only at the moment but there are garden and seafront benches nearby. There is parking round the back too.

Used to often stop here after doing our ghost walks, and such friendly staff who work hard. Really clean, and great food!

Great fish and chips. The cod is always beautifully flakey and the chips aren’t overly greasy. The portions are incredibly generous and the food is consistently cooked to a high standard. It’s become even better since they started delivering too. Would definitely recommend.

First time ordering from Oceans11 will definitely do so again,ordered the fishcake and they actually tasted of fish instead of the usual mash potato no fish cakes.The chips were amazing and fresh they are also generous with portion size.

Never been here before first time me and my wife tried it as the catch was very busy the other day, a young chap there we have seen him in the other shop before food was brilliant nice and crispy fish will pop by again waiting wasnt too bad there's was a few people before us we have waited about 10mins not more then that.

Made an order through Uber eats last night, no tracking showing and debit card pending with my bank. Called them and said they don't use Uber eats, funny that I have 3 previous orders showing, 1 in June and 2 in July!!

Portion of chips was too large and not what I want ed, they were half cooked very pale and tasted odd like half cooked fish!! Not nice won,t be visiting any time soon

Had a lovely takeaway from here, food didn't take too long to cook. Portions are good, a regular chips was enough to cover me and my partner. Price is good for what you get, would definitely use again.

Stopped here for a traditional seaside fish and chips and wasn't disappointed. The fish was cooked fresh and came with a generous portion of chips. We got a slice of bread and butter which was sadly disappointing as it was aa normal slice of bread (should've been a cut loaf).

Placed an order for delivery with well over an hours notice. Failed to deliver. Cancelled order without reason. Took the payment though, which to be fair i should get back. Totally unprofessional will never use again.

They didn't drain chips, fritters etc. so everything was oily and messy. Not healthy and the wrapping was so oily that you couldn't really, sensibly, eat outside without getting grease all over your clothes. It was bad enough trying to transfer the food to a plate indoors without getting in a mess. The previous people used to drain the food better. It is obviously better not to use polystyrene trays but please can all deep-fried food be drained over heat before being wrapped.in paper. Having said that, it is great to find somewhere where you can get corned beef fritters as well as spam and the usual fish. The chip portions seem too large for most people I know.

This chip shop has changed hands recently and i can honestly say, my mouth is watering as i type this, they are undoubtedly the most amazing fish and chips i have ever tasted!

Used this chippy on many occasions in the page and the cod and chips were to die for. But on two visits lately the batter was not so crispy and tasted different.

This fish and chip shop is difficult to beat for freshly cooked fish and chips, everything cooked to order with perfect fish and beautifully crisp batter, good well cooked chips and great tasting mushy peas. Portions are a good size and excellent value for money and staff are very friendly and pleasant. The premises are clean and well kept, everything you could hope for in a fish and chip shop.

Didn’t really like it a few months ago but since the new management the food is amazing haven’t had any problems in there the fish is always fresh same with the chips and there never greasy and we go in there quite a lot and the staff are all lovely highly recommended would say this and catch definitely are the best fish and chips in Hastings

I've used this chippy for a good few years now and it was always a very average experience but recently there seems to have been a change in management or ownership because the place just blows me and my family away now, I like to consider my self a bit of a foodie and this is definitely i the top of my list the chips were perfect,served piping hot tasted amazing fluffy golden and best of all you would have thought they were somehow cooked i the oven as there was practically no grease what so ever, but the real star here had to be the cod it was decadent, truly scrumptious the batter was light but had a beautiful crisp to it and the fish was somehow moist without making the batter soggy, I will be returning time and time again. Bravo for the amazing good.

We came Hastings for weekend and find this fish shop staff are very friendly foods are lovely fish is huge size.

This WAS the best place in town unfortunately the latest owners have let it slip BIG TIME. the Cod and Chips was just a big bag of grease. I left nearly all mine and if you knew me that is strange to say the least.

Under new management it's gone downhill the chips I've never seen chips like it all burnt but the seagulls like them Been going to this chip shop for 15 years I will give it one more go but I will tell them about my chips

Went in after lunch time and been served within 5 mins. The cod properly cooked however, I found the batter bland. The chips looked paler than I expected but was cooked. The meal was not greasy and the overall experience was Ok.

We have been using this place for years, it being our local fish and chip shop, for our Friday night takeaway. It's been under new management since June and it really isn't that good any more. We've given them time to settle in before criticising in the interests of being fair. They have reduced the size of the chips, not the portions, but the actual size of the chips which would be ok if they weren't overcooked. This Friday the portion was large but I threw about half of the chips away as they were overcooked and more like crisps. Fish is overcooked so that the batter is too crisp, brown rather than golden. Pie crust hard, sausage overcooked, even a saveloy was overcooked!! Sorry chaps, going to have to find a new chippie.

Have been using this chippie for years but it is now under new management and has really gone downhill . Lovely friendly staff, but everything is overcooked. Portions of chips are huge but the size of the individual chips has been reduced and the overclocking turns a lot of the chips into crisps. Fish, sausages, saveloys are all overcooked and the pastry on the pie I had was hard too. We have tried a few times to give them a chance to settle in, but every Friday it's the same, overcooked. Looks like we will have to find a new chippie!

Friendly service, fish freshly cooked to order. The large cod and haddock which my partner and brother ate really were large. I just shared a normal sized haddock and chips with my mum which was more than enough. Great to eat them on the seafront a few minutes down the road.

Immense...under new management .. usually go to the Catch just up the road as it is fantastic and owned by John but this topped that by miles and who would have guessed it's run by John's twin... real family battle going on there...😊😊

Popped in on Bank holiday Monday and purchased a large cod and large chips. Both the cod and chips were freshly cooked and were delicious. Would definitely recommend and will drop in again when in the area.

The last time we visited Hastings we found this lovely fish and chip shop. Simply the best fish and chips I've had for a long time. Well cooked nice crispy batter large portions. Not expensive. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We visit Hastings for short breaks and we will definitely visit this great fish and chip shop again.

This is the best fish and chip shop in Sussex. The batter is light and crispy and it's all cooked to perfection.
