Excellent fish and chips. Always served fresh and with friendly service. 40p for a small ketchup packet is a bit cheeky, but otherwise, good prices for good food.

Too good to be true. They say old habits die hard and we’ve now gone full circle. Pre-ordered as we thought it might be busy. Utterly pointless. Hung around for 30 minutes and eventually turned up. The little piece of cod was over cooked and overly covered in batter. The haddock about passable and the chips can only be described as the “end of the barrel” - a waste of time and money what a difference from our last outing. Back to square one.

Excellent customer service and the chips were fresh, hot and super tasty! Very reasonably priced also, highly recommend 😊

Having had a couple of shockers we gave this another go. Same friendly service however there was a massive improvement in the food quality. Chicken, well flavoured and succulent - not dry and fried to a crisp The same could be said of the fish. Fresh, not grey and greasy plus no overkill on the batter. Back with a vengeance!

Great tasting chicken and chips and curry sauce. They could not do enough for us and went out of their way to make our meal enjoyable. Really would recommend kemsing chippy.

I tried the Kemsing Fish bar recently instead of my usual (Royale in Borough Green, which is very good). The first thing I noticed was the lack of any real covid precautions. Once the lady serving had put her phone down and noticed that I was in the shop (I was the only customer), I ordered 2 cod and chips. She told me it would take 10 minutes, which I was ok with as it indicated that it was being freshly cooked, I was charged over £16, which is around £3 more for the same meal in the Royale. When we unwrapped the food we were very disappointed, the fish was poorly cooked and not very fresh, the chips cold, soggy, discoloured. I notice that older reviews are more positive, so maybe there has been a change of ownership. The current owners need to realise that to be a good fish and chip shop you basically need to serve good fish and chips.

Really good! Fish was freshly fried, chips were good. Contactless card in place which was good too. Large chips portion was enough for the two of us.

Order was taken efficiently, estimated time for the food being ready was spot on and served with a friendly demeanor. The food was lovely, nicest bit of fish I've had for quite some time. Plates were cleared in record time, and that's saying something as my kids are fussy eaters! For what the order contained it was reasonably priced. Will most definitely be using these guys with greater frequency in the immediate future. 👏👏👏👌

The best F&C; in Sevenoaks. The size of the cod is crazy, and all you need is a small chips. I never go anywhere else.

I have lived in this area for over 15 years and this fish bar never improves. The chips are not crispy they are soggy the fish is always cold as it sits in the hot cabinet. Guys please sort it out. It’s about time

I have used this chip shop since it opened many years ago. The people are lovely and the food is exactly what I want from a chippy. Portion size is good & the chips are cooked exactly as I like them - not dry & crispy, not sopping wet soggy, but just right! Other reviewers complaining about grease need to remember - this is traditional DEEP FRIED food - it is supposed to be greasy. If you want your chips and batter dry, try Mccains oven chips!

I purchased a small portion of chips which were well cooked and tasted nice, thought they were a bit expensive given the portion size.

Greasy chips even greaser fish! Live locally and have always gone there, until now!!! Called them, and they weren't really bothered, saying if we came back they'd cook it properly!!! Joke!!!

Freshly cooked....should be perfect then? Nope - far from it. I have never seen so much grease on 2 bits of fish....i use the word 'bits' because after trying to carefully peel away the grease laden paper that's what was left - bits of batter on the paper and bits of batter on the fish. Soggy, grease ridden, awful. I called the shop to tell the, and to see what they'd say or suggest. In fairness they did offer to recook 2 more cod - but given that it's a 20 min round journey without the wait that was a non starter. The suggestion that next time we ordered we might get some 'allowance' against this meal seemed to be an alien concept ' we've never had a complaint' - i find that hard to believe! Either others have been fortunate, or unwilling to pick up the phone. Food awful, attitude poor.

As Belgian tourists, we searched TripAdvisor for a good sample of the British National pride. We were quite disappointed : No homemade tartar sauce. No lemons on offer. The batter was not seasoned, although it was crispy. The fish was nice and fresh though; we will remember to ask for skinless fish next time. The chips were soggy, as if they had been lying under a heat lamp for the past hour... Tot bad, we can eat better fish and chips at home,especially for gbp17...

The fish and chips are cooked to order which makes them much nicer than the usual take away. The staff are friendly and obliging and the place is very clean.

Regularly get take away cod and chips from here always good, always decent portions, service with a smile – what's not to like? Deserves to be even busier!

El pescado y las patatas fritas son fresco una vez ordenados, que es muy difícil de alcanzar con la mayoría de las tiendas. El personal es muy amable y educado y saludo a todos a su llegada.He probado la mayoría de los peces y puedo decir que son siempre 10 / 10. Uno de los más limpios de pescado y chip tiendas que verás jamás. Sin duda lo recomendaría a todo el mundo kemsing bar de pescado.

Live close but have eaten from many fish & chips shop takeaways locally. This is excelent and the best for miles. Fish cooked to order so be prepared for 10 min wait. but it is worth it. You wont be disapointed. Alan

I have to drive to get fish and chips and this is always my first choice, the owners are very friendly and the premises is very clean. Good service freshly cooked fish and chips it's not made and left sitting which I hate.

A family run fish and chip shop, always pleasant service and good quality food.They really understand how to welcome customers with respect and take time to meet your particular needs,without delaying orders, also very good at serving customers in order even when busy, could certainly teach other newer restaurants in this Parade about real customer service!!Food consistently good quality, proportions size generous & nicely cooked with great service, certainly a cut above most take aways these days.Long may they continue to serve the Village as very much part of the community, thank you
