Excellent service and food. Visited for Sunday lunch for the first time and had a lovely meal with a glass of wine. We were served by Imogen and Ella who were both super friendly, efficient and professional. Thank you both! Food was wonderful as we have come to expect at Squerryes! Well done all.

They forgot our reservation, 3 items on Set menu they had run out of with the restaurant only 25% full. Steak and fries poor.

One of the most romantic, delicious nights in my life!!! The atmosphere, staff, food and wine was out of this world and we have been back since!

I was bought a voucher for a vineyard tour and wine tasting at Squerryes and as someone who doesn't drink, I am weirdly fascinated by vineyards and viticulture and Squerryes was my first ever experience. Our tour was run by Suz who was absolutely fabulous. She gave us such a warm sense of the history and story behind Squerryes and her passion for the product was felt so deeply. The wine itself is also unique and each bottle carries a story of its uniqueness. We also had some nibbles after the tasing and the food was delicious and they cater for allergens (gluten on my part) allowing for more than one option. Highly recommend a visit - you won't be disappointed.

A lovely roast lunch. Really tasty and good quality food. Staff worked tirelessly and I do LOVE that upstairs room ambience & decor 🫶.

Great vineyard tour and wine tasting by Joanne, thank you for making my friends and I so welcome, we had a really great time, and Joanne's knowledge is exceptional and we really enjoyed the tasting session. Look forward to coming to eat in the restaurant.

Lovely coffee. Pastries are ok. Had the chocolate croissant but needed warming as used chocolate was hard so took it home.

Top notch locally sourced produce, prepared perfectly and served by an excellent front of house team. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was OK. Nothing special for the price they charge. It's a really nice restaurant. However, there was a 40th birthday party going on downstairs with a really loud PA meaning that our pleasant meal felt like we were upstairs from a club with no sound insulation. The bass was rumbling through our heads all night meaning that it was not a relaxing evening at all.

Fantastic experience on the tour and tasting. Steve was a fantastic tour guide and the wines were divine! I’d strongly recommend this for anyone who is interested in wines or just fancies a unique day out not too far from London (my partner and I travelled by public transport from central London and it was very easy to get to).

Oh dear - just not the wow experience that the cost of the meal implied ! It was a birthday treat for four of us and the setting was idyllic, sadly the food did not match the surroundings which were well laid out and overlooking vineyards and rolling kent countryside around a collection of cafes and the vineyards. I ordered a small plate to start with from a promising menu, and the crumbed squid which I had hoped for was rather dry and tough and served on a bed of leaves. The portion size was good but the taste and texture was not. The other diners reported positively about their choices. My main of the beetroot tarts tartin, was tasty and well cooked but a very small portion with a lot of accompanying leaves. It was beautifully presented but closer to a starter sized portion and not the large plate indicated on the menu. Again quite dry. The after dinner coffee was spilt in the saucer and very weak and tasted like machine ☕️ coffee. So disappointing as it’s a stunning setting but the food in taste, portion size and quality did not match the costs of the meal and we left disappointed ☹️

Pleasant enough place but there is background noise from the M25. Short menu in the cafe is well priced. The sausage roll could be crisper. Reheating isn’t successful but tasty and good value

Came here for a lunch with my parents for my stepdads birthday. The scenery is lovely around the area and it was enjoyable to sit outside and be able to look at it. Food was slightly disappointing as there was little to no flavour in it, though the presentation was fine. Comparing it to the cafe I would say that the cafe has better food for better value. Overall it was nice but I will not be returning to the restaurant any time soon if I can avoid it

Everything was wonderful. The food , the atmosphere, the music. Thank you to our wonderful waitress Lexi who despite being very busy, greeted our table every time with a smile, and with patience, as we made up our minds what to eat and drink. The food was amazing - perfect portions, and we had a really lovely evening. Thank you.

Squerryes hosted our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the whole day. We had the ceremony at the Court followed by the reception at the winery. The whole team were super professional and friendly. The day went exactly to plan and the team were always on hand to make sure everything was running to time. We were able to just enjoy every minute as we could trust Squerryes had everything covered. One of the reasons we chose Squerryes is because we knew their food was excellent. This didn't disappoint and multiple guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. They even designed the menu around our own tastes. It's also lovely to be able to welcome everyone with a glass of Squerryes own sparkling wine, grown on site. We would highly recommend Squerryes for a wedding that you can really make personal in beautiful surroundings. We would also recommend just visiting for a meal too!

Super friendly, knowledgeable staff and the food was amazing. Couldn’t find fault with anything…other than the unseasonal moody sky, but the ambience inside more than made up for the view out the window!! It’s not the cheapest…but you get what you pay for. Quality food and wine with great service.

We had a lovely afternoon by the cellar cafe. They serve wine flights, by the glass, bottles not only Squerryes but international wines, there’s a food truck, a cafe, cheese and charcuterie boards besides the restaurant and the brewery.

We decided to visit Squerryes Terrace for the first time today, despite living less than five minutes drive away. The setting is truly wonderful in the sunshine and the terrace has a great ambience. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We didn’t wait long for our order to be taken but had a very long wait for our food. The squid starter was good but the lamb koftas were very disappointing. The three pieces served were stiff, dry and chewy, not juicy and succulent as I had imagined and the accompanying ‘leaves’ undressed. However, we will return as it’s a great spot but hopefully make better food choices next time.

We had eaten here before and food was excellent. So we were looking forward to lunch today. Again the food on the set menu was freshly cooked, well presented and delicious. The restaurant has a nice vibe and tables are well spaced. Today we were looked after by Imie and she was delightful. She was able to advise us on all our choices and nothing was too much trouble. Her service was friendly and attentive.We shall be recommending to friends.

We went for Sunday lunch, the manager was great, the setting was lovely and tables well spaced and not cramped. The food on the other hand was forgettable. It was either overly salty in the case of the broccoli and wild garlic soup or unseasoned like the greens and mash. The potatoes seemed like that had been stored under a heater for a while. It’s a good deal at 3 course for 32.50 and a great selection to choose from but you can definitely make a better roast at home. Overall it wasn’t bad but didn’t have the wow factor either.

Had the set lunch menu and a few glasses of their sparkling wine. The food and wine were amazing and Imogen our waitress was fantastic.

On arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to a table next to a sunny window, which was delightful after all the recent rain. I booked this lunch for a special occasion and was not disappointed in any way. The food and service were top quality, and my dining partner was able to enjoy the suggested paired wines with each course. Unfortunately for me I was driving, so unable to try the full food/wine experience on this occasion. However, we did buy a bottle of the Squerryes 2019 Brut from the on-site deli to enjoy at home - something to look forwards to!! All in all, this is a fabulous restaurant, with first class food and service in a lovely environment, and I very much look forward to returning when I can.

We’ve been a few times in the past and we were attracted this time by a special offer on their fixed price lunch. This was by far the best experience we’ve had. Food was really excellent and service (mainly the friendly, efficient and good-hearted Imogen) first class. Would strongly recommend.

We’ve just had an incredible Sunday lunch here after hearing about it on Muddy Stilettos! The food, wine and atmosphere was brilliant and our Waitress Imogen was also. Would definitely recommend the pork belly and the date pudding.

I really want to keep this a secret, but .... I suppose I should share - delightful setting and views, wonderful lunch, and excellent service from Imogen.

The setting at Squerryes is perfect for dining and very comfortable. Anton was an excellent and attentive waiter and could not be faulted. The only disappointment was the overly salted pumpkin soup (chosen by two of the diners ) and the equally over-salted pumpkin risotto (chosen by myself and it was also a very small portion) which were all so very salty that even a few hours later we were still drinking water and I had a sore throat. We reflected this to Anton as we felt the chef needed to know. Anton was very understanding and without us asking he reduced the price of our meal a little to compensate. The score I have given reflects my opinion of the quality of the food in question, not of the venue itself. I will go to Squerryes again but any repeat of the ridiculous over-seasoning we experienced may make it my last as most chefs would have spotted this issue before the dishes left the kitchen.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening and went back a few weeks later for the Sunday roast. The decor is stunning and I love that when you book for a Saturday night the table is yours for the evening. The staff are fab, we had Imogen serve us on the Sunday who was so friendly and informative. They catered to my onion intolerance so well - best gravy I’ve tasted. Food is amazing, definitely recommend

Very pleasant set lunch for three. No hard sell on wine as driving but non-alcoholic cocktails went down well. Imogen polite and friendly and great food. Will return.

Last night was our 4th visit to Squerryes- and did not disappoint. This time we treated a very good friend to the New Year tasting menu. The food was sublime. The drinks choices perfectly matched- thank you Anton. I can honestly say this was one of the best (if not THE best) tasting menu we have ever had! And we’ve also been to The Square and Marcus Waring’s own restaurant! The people who looked after us at Squerryes were friendly, polite and knowledgeable. They were also great fun to chat to. We were fortunate enough to try the Head Chef Shamy’s take on rhubarb and custard- fabulous - and I’ll never eat rhubarb again without remembering the tale he told us about his granny’s veg patch. A perfect evening- and one we’ll never forget- because it was SO very special. Thank you.

Overpriced and dry food, my Turkey dinner was dry and so was the lemon cake for dessert. My partners steak was ordinary and pretty tasteless! I loved the decor, but the food sadly was not up to standard.

Superb dinner last night at Squerreys winery. A special evening with guest Chef Robin Read preparing an extensive tasting menu and starting with a Squerreys sparkling wine reception with canapes. Immaculate service throughout the evening and all the specially prepared courses were delicious.

I visited Squerryes with friends a few weeks ago and it was incredible! The food was delicious, the wine was outstanding and the staff were so friendly. I wanted to mention Anton and Sam in particular for making the evening extra special, and going above and beyond. I will definitely be returning!

Had a birthday celebration at the garden cafe for 23 people and it was a massive success! The food was well organized and timed and the wine sommelier was so knowledgeable and helpful which made the whole experience even better. Beautiful spot. Everybody loved it. Thank you Sergio and the team!

Disappointing Picnic experience. Website showed items included in the picnic for an inclusive Price £40 plus £40 Rose Wine. When arrived to collect at the shop Lady informed to pick our items and she took us through the entire stock range! Then changed to “Till “ £80+40 wine. Kerching!! In order to save face I just paid up. At least at Gusbourne everything as per their website.

Great winery tour, but awful restaurant. The attitude of the waiters was incredibly arrogant… Moreover, they wouldn’t start cooking our mains, because we didn’t finish our starter consisting of 3 tomato slices for 5 people. Left hungry and unsatisfied.

I came to a coroporate wine tasting event here a month ago. I’ve been to a Park Run here before too. The two Suzie’s, the tour guides, were really knowledgable - I am a horticulturist, my wife’s family have vines in Spain and I have some knowledge of vines so I found the tour of the vineyards fascinating. These are very professionally run and maintained vineyards! And the tour guides really love what they do and are very knowledgeable. I found the history explanation of the tour fascinating. The owners of Squerryes Court, the Ward family have owned the estate for nearly 300 years. Suzie mentioned Sir Patience Warde had been Lord Mayor of London in 1680, as they are about to name a bottle of wine after him. That got me thinking during the tour because we’ve just discovered that our 10th times great grandfather was Sir Nicholas Crispe, 1st Baronet who was very much around in London at the same time as Patience Ward. So while I was walking around the vinyard I was thinking I bet my ancestor knew Sir Patience Ward. Anyway it turns out I have more of a link to Squerryes Court than I thought as it was actually Sir Nicholas Crispe that actually owned and built the current Squerryes Court!! Nicholas Crispe’s daughter was married to the 1st Governor of the Bank of England. The Wards also have links to the early Governor’s of the Bank of England! Anyway apart from finding out that I have family links to Sueerryes ( I only live 3 miles away) the actual wine tasting and meal was excellent. I’m not a massive fan of sparking wines but these are very very good!! The food was really good too. It was a really great evening. We’ll definitely visit the restaurant. Overall I would really recommend coming here. I just wish the house was open to the general public and not just corporate guests so I could see what my 10th great grandfather built!

Just popped in to take a look and ended up staying for lunch. Lovely food and great service at a good price. As my Dad always said. You get what you pay for in this world

Overpriced and poor service. For example the starter which promised itself as tomato consomme, was nothing more than 5 slices of tomato, in a bowl too deep to reach what little amount of consomme there was and given a fork. £240 for 4 people, 2 courses and 1 drink each. The staff were helpful, however for that price there was no complimentary water or bread offered.

Had a wonderful afternoon in remembrance of a good friend which was organised by sons and daughter, the hostess and helpers were most excellent in their service, and I cannot speak of them more highly!!

Overall experience was ok but a number of things let the restaurant down which was disappointing and did not reflect the service provided on my initial enquiries about holding a large party for a special occasion. One of the staff identified herself and said that she was responsible for the table and initially was quite attentive but unfortunately as the restaurant was busy and more people arrived it became more and more difficult to gain her attention. We were originally given a menu each (which was exceptionally small print and therefore for some of the party found it difficult to read particularly as the lighting which is pleasant was dim) but before we had finished ordering some where taken away to another table as the restaurant had failed to print off enough copies for the number of covers they were expecting. The food service was friendly but generally slow and on occasion a little clumsy as one of the guests was hit on the back of her head by a plate and rather than saying excuse me the waitress pushed between guests in conversation when placing plates of food on the table. The menu was different to that shown online and we were advised that as they had been busy at lunchtime a couple of the dishes were unavailable as they had sold out. No alternatives were offered so this limited the choices further. As we visited on a Friday evening it would suggest that the restaurant ordering system was not as it should be to allow for a potentially busy weekend. Side portions of items like potatoes were small. As the restaurant is at the higher end and therefore quite expensive all these things meant that the experience did not fully meet my expectations. There was a very pleasant jazz duo playing and this was not too loud and did not affect conversation at the table and was a great addition to the atmosphere. We will possibly try the restaurant again as the setting and atmosphere are lovely, in the hope that this was just not one of the best nights.

Celebrated my daughter and new son in laws wedding this weekend with their reception held at Squerryes. Couldn’t have been more perfect. Beautiful grounds, food excellent, as was the service, all co-ordinated superbly by Nicki. Thank you for making their day so wonderful - lots of happy memories made.

Nice location, nice atmosphere with live music for dinner. Average food and slightly overpriced for what it was. Service needs improvement as we had to ask multiple times to place an order or get a bill. Disappointed

For the posh look and feel the food is marginal. The starter squid was pretty alright but the main was a let down, the rump steak lacking taste and the octopus paired with pickled artichokes didn't quite sit right. cutlery not clean ... Glasses smelling of egg ... Overall a poor performance. Staff are very friendly and professional.

We had a less-than-pleasant experience at the garden cafe. Despite patronizing their establishment by purchasing rose wine at £10 per glass, we were reprimanded for enjoying food from the neighboring food truck within their seating area. We tried explaining that along with the wine, we had spent a significant sum of £40 on their wine tour and an additional £20 on cheese from their shop. However, our reasoning fell on deaf ears as the gentleman from the cafe continued to chide us. Our experience was marred by this encounter, and it's disheartening to realize that a customer's loyalty and substantial patronage don't seem to count for much. I'm afraid I would advise caution when considering a visit until they've taken steps to improve their staff training and customer service approach. This was a disappointing experience that left a sour taste in our mouths. 😡😡😡😡

Everything, from the venue and location, the staff on the day (Vicki was amazing) the estate owner Henry’s kind words and gesture, the beautiful food and their own Squerryes estate wine was excellent. The restaurant ambience, the quality of food and the overall kindness and compassion of everybody at Squerryes made for an unforgettable experience. Can you keep a secret? So can I! But with regards to the restaurant at Squerryes Winery it shouldn’t be a secret. Fabulous food from a young chef. Great service from the team. And a first class wine expert on hand to help your selection. Not sure there is a better restaurant outside of London. Go visit whilst you can still get a table.

I attended the winery for a very large birthday party which was held in the private dining area. We found the staff very helpful and attentive. The food was very good. There is ample car parking space and a large outdoor area. I think this would be very pleasant when weather conditions are good. Highly recommended.
