Best food in town with reasonable prices !

Found this little amazing Sky High Fish & Chip Shop/Bar, in Hove, along main Portland Road, opp School Road by zebra crossing so was easy to park up ( After 8pm😉) had phoned order in, 10-15mins ready when got there, quick card swipe & then home, for FishChips&MushyPeas that were tasty😋tasty😋tasty😋. And they can Deliveroo2U2 (BONOus 😆) Best I’ve found for taste, quality & pricing in Hove/Brighton for 2025.

Absolutamente manchado en pescado y patatas fritas. Huss estaba ahí. Como Huss solía ser en Brighton. Recién cocinado y qué buen precio. Excelente personal

We were excited to try the food here because of the extensive vegan options. The battered sausage was really nice! However, the rest of the food unfortunately was quite bland, especially the chips even after I loaded them with salt and vinegar. The battered banana blossom didn’t really taste like much. And the portions were sickeningly large—we couldn’t finish one portion between the two of us. Appreciate the variety though!

Had deliveroo delivery and it was truly awful food. Chips and fish had been reheated and the batter was full of grease and baked solid.. Would never order again!

One would not expect anything serving in a shopping mall to be even halfway decent and who wants to drink coffee in a shopping area? But this place is good. Great coffee, good snack type food and very good value.

Big improvements over the last year or so, food generally good, hot, fresh and tasty, 2/3rds of the staff really quite nice, the other 1/3 could do with anti grump lessons.... Overall, worth a punt.

The worst fish and chips i have had in a long while

Best fish and chips in Brighton, and never skip their tartar sauce! Portion sizes are great and the food is always delicious. Very happy regular customer 🥰

Excellent service and extremely clean. The fish was very tasty and probably the best chips I've experienced.

This pub overlooking the harbour has a nice atmosphere. There wasn't much of a crowd on a Tuesday afternoon in early June. There are the usual drinks you'd expect for a pub- ale, gins etc. and non-alcoholic options too (J20, 0% cider etc). A J20 was £3, so the kind of money you'd probably expect to pay. There was a board outside showing when bands would be playing live music in the evening during the week. The toilets are decorated in line with the theme of the pub. There's a pool table at the back.
