The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in England

Visited 2 days ago and was greeted by Badrul. He and his staff were very attentive and professional. The food was quick and brought to the table. Very impressed. The place was decorated very modern and clean. It takes a bit of getting used to when asking for a double double that you have to put your own sugar in. It doesn't quite taste like the canadian and I think it's the cream used. The coffee cup lids should be the canadian design also, these are much better. Prices do no compare to Canada

Completely dead despite it being a busy night out. Menu prices are only visible if you hold the page at a certain angle that catches the light - maybe that's why it was an £80+ meal for one?? Food completely underwhelming- starter calamari (three rings) rubbery and a dip that was way too glutinous....for nine quid!! Main course steak served on a cold plate - tasteless and uninspiring. Blue cheese sauce like nothing blue cheese related that I've seen before...I think it's out of an Aldi squeezy bottle of 'blue cheese sauce'. Also really glutinous and unappetising. Wine was mediocre, cocktail was meh, service good but felt like they wanted me out asap. No surprise it was so devoid of customers.

Ordered through uber, sent curry goat instead of oxtail which was just all bone no meat, the sides of fried dumpling and steamed veg that I ordered didn’t arrive, and was hardly any sauce so couldn’t even enjoy the food that did arrive as it was mainly just dry rice with a few scraps of steamed veg mixed in with the rice.

We ordered the "luxury" cream tea, the pastries were looking good, but turned out they were old and stale, not to mention the disappointing flavours. In this price range (almost 60 GBP for 2), this is unacceptable. The tea was just basic bagged one. The servers were nice, but it did not improve the experience. The 20% service fee was the biggest letdown.

I recently completed a two-month stint at this restaurant. Unfortunately, during my time there, I encountered issues with late payment, with delays extending over a week in the first month and two weeks into the second. My attempts to contact them have been met with silence. However, I must commend the dedicated staff who consistently delivered excellent food despite limited resources. While the restaurant upholds public health and quality products as core values, my experience behind the scenes revealed inconsistencies in meeting these standards.

The staff were pleasant, but the three of us unanimously agreed that the Sunday lunch was the worst we had eaten for many years. In addition the toilets are tired and in need of some tlc.

First time leaving a review but I’ve ordered from Pixis countless times now. Food is absolutely stunning, I tend to go for the mango curry, rice and pea and I’ll order a few sides too. Their fried chicken strips are unreal. Also tried the island pizzas and chips in the past, absolutely class. The stew is a winner too. Their coleslaw has a sweet herbiness to it, absolutely lovely. Delivery not as quick as your standard kebab/pizza takeaway but it is well worth the wait. Will continue to order as long as I can!
