First time trying this place and sadly our last. After a horrible day this isn’t what was needed. Curry goat was so incredibly dry it was difficult to eat. Hardly any gravy atall. Real shame

Very very disappointed in the food, which was not up to the True Carribbean cuisine. Brown chicken stew was over cooked tasting like beef because the chicken had over cooked. The oxtail had no flavour whatsoever. Bought food for a birthday meal. Spoiled. Would not recommend them at all!!!

I ordered curry goat with rice and peas and dumplins the meat was so tender it melted in your mouth and the rice and peas was so fluffy it was amazing can not fault this atall, cooked to perfection!

The food was delicious and a big it with the family including the kids. It arrived well enough within the time frame given so was pleasantly pleased and it was hot, which is always a plus! :) Not too salty either and great communication when I needed to speak directly to the restaurant regarding my order; they were quick to rectify a slight mishap & delivery person was a pleasant person too. Portion size was pretty decent though no one would say no to more protein especially the meat and chicken, yum :) My only small thing would be a little less oil though; the food is not swimming in it either but, I do prefer less oil generally but, overall can't complain based on what I received and would order again. Thanks

Despite the restaurant not offering delivery service you allowed the order to go through on your system and now I cannot find where to get my refund as I didn't get my food.

First time we have ordered from the Tuckin and it definitely won’t be the last!! Large portions, great flavour and lovely and fresh. The curry goat was tender and the sides (rice and pea, plantin and dumpling) were all delicious too. And to top the driver was really friendly…a winner all round

Zero stars. Ordered from website, money taken for our food. No confirmation email or confirmation on website that the order was accepted. Called multiple times and no answer, so no idea whether food coming or not. In the end drove the restaurant to find it was shut. Happily took our money without being able to provide the service, feels like we have been stolen from. Would not trust to order from here again, wasted both time and money with these jokers.

Plantain was the highlight of the meal. One piece of yam for the hard food, no green plantain. Curry goat had barely any sauce or flavour/spice. Saltfish fritter barely tasted of anything remotely like fish and was so dry. One piece of dumpling. Overall very disappointed, expected better as I was really looking forward to this dish and there was a good rating on Just Eat. I won't be ordering from here again unless there's a drastic change in the food quality.

This is the first Caribbean we have ordered n Bedford and after paying £30, we actually couldn’t eat it. We were so disappointed and ended up having cheese on toast! Sorry to say to say I would not recommend.

They need to improve their service. You can't be having a bunch of food in thin brown bags it makes the food stick to the paper and makes the for e.g the dumplings softer when they're meant to be crisp...The amount of times I had to pick the paper off my food isn't ok. I also ordered a drink and the drink was not there...the person on the phone said they'd get it and I was waiting for a long time only to for the driver to finally come back with a smoothie concoction ?? Not what I asked for...

My boyfriend and I ordered two curried goat, one rice and peas and a couple of fried dumplings. The curried goat was incredibly dry and not spicy at all, it also had a lot of oil surrounding it. The rice literally tasted like boiled white rice with a couple of beans thrown in - obviously microwaved to death. The dumplings were nice however. Not the cheapest and not very good quality food. Won't be going back.

It didn't taste like Caribbean food. The £1 gravy pot was a bisto type instant gravy. The corn on the cob and coleslaw were miniature portions. The meat and rice n peas we're not we're bland.Delivery time was 20mins early though!

Lovely food, ready when notified. Decent portions at reasonable cost. We all enjoyed our meal very much, and will certainly use this place again!

food was half an hour late, and i ordered a large bottle of coca cola and they sent a large bottle of coke zero. very disappointed. when i called to complain the food was very late they didnt even apologise

Delivered on time as per delivery time on app. However I ordered brown stewed chicken with rice and peas and the box had “scraps” written on it. Poor amount of chicken and awful quality, it was quite literally SCRAPS. Not impressed would not recommend

The food was terrible. It was bland and dry, no flavour at all. The Guinness punch was watery and horrible and the pineapple punch did not taste like pineapples or how it should at all. We ended up throwing away over half of the food and ordering a pizza instead. We will definitely not be buying from here again. It was quite late when we ordered maybe they just couldn't be bothered or it was old food. On a positive note, the food was delivered exactly at the estimated time.

I love Caribbean food so was very excited when I spotted this place in Bedford and I popped in for lunch the first moment I got. I ordered the Jerk Chicken w. Rice and peas to take away. What I got given was a tub of brown, oily slush!! The rice was practically floating in the liquid. My understanding of jerk chicken is that it isn't saucy, so I've no idea what the liquid was even meant to be?! The food itself was tasteless, with not even a hint of spice – I had a few bites and then it went straight in the bin! Total waste of money. Won't be going there again.
