Located next to Kensington Gardens, a very good option to enjoy a delicious dessert, the place is very cozy and very beautiful to feel like you were in another era, the service is very good from the staff. Only the coffee was not that good and the 20% tip to take into account.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Concerto on Kensington High Street, and I can confidently say it was an epic experience! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful display of cakes and pastries in the window. The eye-catching array of treats made it impossible to resist stepping inside. We stopped for a lovely cup of coffee ☕️ and indulged in a sweet treat, and we were not disappointed! Every bite was heavenly, reflecting the high quality and craftsmanship of their offerings. A special mention goes to Robin, our waiter, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness truly enhanced our experience. We are already planning our next visit, with afternoon tea on the agenda. I can’t wait to return to Cafe Concerto and try more of their delicious creations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delightful culinary experience!

We visited in August and decided to try one of their towers. The place itself is visually stunning and well-decorated. Initially, the staff were eager to seat us and helpful up until the point we placed our order. However, once our order was in, it became incredibly difficult to get their attention. When the food arrived, it was clear that the focus was on presentation. While everything looked impressive, the taste was a major letdown. Most of the items on the tower were underwhelming, and we left much of it uneaten because it was so disappointing. We also ordered their "homemade lemonade," which we would strongly advise against—it was equally disappointing. The overall experience was underwhelming, and things took a turn for the worse when it was time to settle the bill. While we expected the service charge to be included, the reaction we received when we asked for it to be removed was shocking. Service charges are *optional*, and while it’s fine to ask why we’d like it removed, we were met with interrogation and a condescending attitude from the staff member. She questioned us sternly, as if scolding us, which made an already disappointing experience even worse. We initially tried to explain politely that we didn’t enjoy the experience, but she kept pushing. Finally, I had to state outright that the food was terrible, the drinks were poor, and the service after we ordered had been lacking. Her response was even more frustrating and rude—she told us that she’d need a manager’s approval to remove the charge, and that we’d have to wait for the manager to come and speak to us. What should have been a simple process ended up taking 30 minutes and left us feeling embarrassed and annoyed. The entire experience was a disaster, from the food to the service, and especially the handling of the "optional" service charge. This visit left a bad taste in our mouths, and we would absolutely not return. We cannot recommend this place to anyone.

We had breakfast here the morning we arrived in London. We were waiting for our room to be ready and happened upon this gem. It was so beautiful and inviting we just had to pop in. We were so glad we did. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious and picture perfect! A lovely couple near us told me they often come to the area at Christmas for a visit to Royal Albert Hall and enjoy a posh breakfast. That described our experience perfectly—Posh!

Mandatory 25% charge as a tip is insane behavior for any establishment. Everything is overpriced for what it is. What we ordered was good, but the service was mediocre at best. Never returning to a place that mandated a tip.

You should be more polite customers who request to change table and let them know about service charge

Bait and switch menu prices. Their Christmas menu is posted on their website. The one I received in-person is up to 66% more expensive plus a 25% additional surcharge instead of the posted 12.5% surcharge. Otherwise identical menus. See photos. Scam.

If you like a good café, this is the wrong place... Staff unfriendly because they can't handle criticism. Not recommended…. The hardest thing about it is that they want another 25% service fee... very, very cheeky

I picked up a cake today from Caffé Concerto for a gathering at someone’s house, and I was quite disappointed to find that both the box and the bag prominently said "Merry Christmas." While I understand it’s the holiday season, it would have been thoughtful to offer neutral packaging options for customers who may not celebrate Christmas. This oversight put me in an awkward position and felt inconsiderate of diverse celebrations. I hope Caffé Concerto can be more inclusive in the future by providing alternatives that respect all customers. Really disappointed, don’t think I’ll be ordering from Caffé Concerto again and will tell others not to until they can be more inclusive.

First visit. Loved it all. We had afternoon tea which was delicious. Service was great. A lovely Christmas treat.

Great cakes, but adding charges after is auto 1 star. First, adding a charge to sit in, with no warning, is dishonest. Second, having tipping on top as a hidden charge, is insane. Tips are not a charge, they are based on what the customer wants. This is also the UK, tips are not required and 100% optional. Most people don't tip, this is not a tipping country. Hidden fees in a restaurant is crazy. So great cakes, dishonest money leeching practices. Also(!), the sitting fee is a percentage of the bill... That's crazy.

We came for the Christmas mood in a quiet Monday evening and have chosen a right place. The cakes were fresh and tasty, Fathy helped us with our order and kindly made a few pictures, which was very nice. All the atmosphere was full of peace and romantic 🥰

The food was amazing and the waitress (Bianca) that served us was a very nice. The food came super fast and the drinks were perfect. The dessert was amazing. So I would give this a 5 star rating because everything about Caffè Concierto was very good.

My colleague and I got the strawberry gateaux and it was moldy which was extremely shocking and disappointing. We were too far away to bring it back however the pistachio honey cake was delicious.

We ordered the afternoon tea for two, which included a tea pot for each one of us. The finger sandwiches and the pastries were really good but our absolute favourite were the raisins scones. We asked for a raspberry lemonade and it was really fresh 😋 Everyone was really kind, specially Robin and Shahrin.
