GAUCHO’s you did it again! Woaw what a great meal. I loved the Burger although I’ve enjoyed the Wagyu burger in the past and recommended it to my lunch. I went with the Old classic Burger and it was outstanding, Chips breathtakingly good and Now dessert I preferred your old cheesecake although small it was PERFECT. I’m not fond of your current Baked cheesecake but luckily the sizzling unbelievably glorious sticky toffee pudding stole the show and capped off a delightful meal. Thanks again GAUCHO

It was a great meal for our last dinner in London. The food was seasoned just right so I didn't get tired of it while eating it. I stayed at the Chelsea Cloisters right next door during my trip, and I recommend checking it out if you're staying there. The price is a bit high by Korean standards, but I think it's worth it. Especially our server diego is very friendly. My friend fell in love with deigo's fantastic accent and kept saying fantastic~ throughout the trip. Thank you Diego and gaucho

ITS DOG FRIENDLY!!! Dined here a few times now, you must get the steak! Great wine too. Deserts are most likely microwaved frozen rubbish so get plenty of great sides so you don’t need a pudding! Staff are a bit erratic, some poor communication and forgetful while others clearly love what they do and are very knowledgeable.

Service was excellent. We were very well looked after and the steak was amazing. The Argentinian sausage platter for sharing as starters is a must do.

I had an exceptional experience at Gaucho Sloane Avenue where the quality of food and elegant atmosphere shined. The cuts of meat were cooked to perfection and accompanied by an excellent selection of wines. I especially want to highlight Diego, our waiter, whose attention was impeccable. Their knowledge of the menu, thoughtful recommendations, and friendliness made our visit even more special. It is certainly a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in London.

For me, this is the unsung best Gaucho in London. Exceptional and friendly service, attentive, but not pushy, and knowledgeable staff made the wine and steak pairings a delight for lunch. It's a relaxed but professional location, and it doesn't feel like you're being rushed through your meal (an experience I've had elsewhere), making it all the more enjoyable and as it is 'meant to be' at such an institution. All in all, if you want the best central London Gaucho experience, you cannot go wrong here.

Unfortunately, our family meal at Gauchos on Christmas Eve was far from the high-quality dining experience we expected. The 3 sirloin steaks, while nicely marinated, were tough and riddled with gristle, making it hard to justify the premium price point. The fries were inconsistent—half were well-cooked, while the rest were underdone. The Wagyu burger was shockingly bland, reduced to an unseasoned lump of meat with no discernible flavor. The grilled sea bass was equally disappointing—dry and unappetizing. We were so underwhelmed that we left without ordering dessert or any further dishes. The only saving grace of the meal was the excellent Provenance wine, but it wasn’t enough to salvage the evening. For the price, I would recommend exploring other restaurants where the quality of the food matches the cost. Even though the staff were kind enough to remove the meals that were left untouched due to the distaste. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

We had the most amazing time with my husband tonight the food was amazing, and Argentinian wine is always fabulous but what made our night was Diego's service, he was so friendly and gave us the best menu recommendations. He made our night at Gaucho even more memorable. We look forward to coming back!!

Lovely vibrant restaurant. Waiter was great. Most of the food was good. Scallops were a bit tough and one of our steaks was also. Otherwise everything else was lovely.

The restaurant left a disappointing impression. They served a plain, mediocre steak, with no flavor or presentation. Nothing special and definitely not worth the price. Wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something truly delicious or worth the money

We celebrated our corporate Xmas Dinner at Gaucho Sloane Avenue, and the team had a great evening. I had the carpaccio as a starter and a steak as main, which were both really good. The highligh of the evening was actually not the food, but our waiter Diego. What a profesional! We were a medium-sized party, and he managed our table extremely well, always with a smile and super attentive. His personable approach was great, he read the room well and understood very early that we were a cool bunch, which just made our interactions with him so much more natural, with some jokes here and there. I have been in hospitality for many years, and it's always the people and experiences you remember the most, and this was no exception. We will definetly be returning soon to Gaucho's.

Glen and zaklina are both amazing. Service so good I don’t think I am in london. Busiest night of the year and they treated us like the royal family.

We dine at the Piccadilly venue very regularly but Sloane is now our favourite. The food was exceptional and the service from Joanna and the team 1st class.

Antes de entrar mi esposa miró las reseñas de los tripadvisores e inmediatamente al comienzo de la comida, me dijo: Cenaremos bien hoy. Es mucho mejor que la calificación. Zaquelina fue tan eficiente y rápida y dejó una impresión gigante. Sólo podría ser excelente. Glen era tan amable y nos guió también. Diego servía a la mesa del vecino con su acento español también era tan eficiente. Wowww La carne estaba 👌como debería estar❤️ Para terminar el postre, otra sorpresa. Quería tomar fotos de la comida, pero no tuve tiempo. Era demasiado bueno. Así que nos fuimos con un corazón cálido y gracias a todos.

Lovely Sunday lunch with four adults and four children. The children were well looked after with activities and a very good children’s menu. Our whole party ordered steak(rib eye, sirloin and fillet) and we were very pleased. Sides were ok nothing special but the chips were not very good

Lio and Joey were great bartenders for the Galante Lounge and provided stellar service.

Francesco took very good care of us. There were eight of us and half were children and were well accommodated with activities and a very good children’s menu. We all ordered steaks and were very pleased with the quality and execution. My only negative were the chips which were a bit cold and dry.

The food not the best and the atmosphere and the toilets were all dirty and the staff really unprofessional all the time. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely restaurant with very efficient gent serving us - knowledgeable and friendly. We took our Dachshund with and they were happy to accommodate. Quite dark inside but nice night had.

Amazing dining experience at this beautiful venue. All meals were delicious, and we were so excited by the dishes that we forgot to take photos. Impeccable service by all the staff but especially Davide.

The food was very good, but given this was the everlasting roast option for our table of 6 we didn't get offered the top ups and had to chase everything. We were not offered any other meats, only beef, there was a delay in getting the Yorkshire's to the table, when we did ask for more meat, veg and gravy it was sparse portions for a table of 6. Our waiter, Marcel, was very good but it felt like there were a lot of people not pulling their weight and the restaurant was far from busy. Overall slightly disappointing, when it could have been excellent.

Once upon a time, Gauchos was cool…but not anymore. The interior is very dated and not well maintained. It feels like they are just milking it for cash and have given up on trying to make any effort. Our food all arrived cold, including the steak which they then researed and the result was that it ended up overcooked. Not wanting to complain a second time we ate it. For a steak restaurant to get steak wrong us in acceptable. They should have cooked a whole new steak. I will never go back and would not recommend it. London has so many better options at this price point.

By far the best restaurant we ate at in London. The food was outstanding! The steak was cooked perfectly and was incredible! The staff was all great but our waiter Diego was so attentive, knowledgeable and made sure everything was perfect especially given there was a dietary restriction. We will definitely be back next time we’re in London.

Excellent steak - on par with best US and Australian steak restaurants. Service was great and chairs were very comfortable. Only downside was the level of noise (music was loud - made conversation difficult).

Everything was absolutely amazing, the food and the service especially. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I made a booking and asked if they could do anything nice for my partner’s birthday and they most definitely delivered and made her feel so special! I went last Friday to Gaucho’s for the first time ever with my dad for his 50th before we watched a movie. To say it was amazing would be an understatement. There were only four other people in the restaurant, but that doesn’t really matter to us. Our waiter also suggested his favourite cocktail, a watermelon spritz and my dad loved it more than me and that’s a statement! Diego, our waiter was perfect. I secretly mentioned it was my dad’s birthday and not only did Diego give my dad a slice of cake, but also champagne AND a birthday card, with a lovely and quite funny message. For my first experience, it was amazing. Diego even told my dad “To fifty more!” And it made us both chuckle before we thanked him. My dad has already made a review and I felt the need to share my brilliant experience. I selected £90-100 because we decided to treat ourselves more than normal. Thank you Gaucho!

disappointed - ate in on 08/07 and I’m disappointed how bad the service was given the reputation of Gaucho. Just a couple of example - I ordered a starter that they forgot and the staff were more interested in doing their makeup and discussing their makeup in the mirror just in front of my table. It made me feel uncomfortable - please check your makeup before your shift and concentrate on the customer experience whilst on duty. The food I did eat being the steak and broccoli was cooked perfectly so not a complete disaster. I also went here for a few drinks the night before 07/07 and THAT barman is a credit to your team. I had 3 cocktails all of his choice and he made them to perfection and tasted amazing - he was also welcoming, big smile and made me feel at ease.

On an overnight trip to London we happened on this restaurant and they were more than welcoming. Every person we spoke to literally couldn't do enough for us but our waiter Diego was an absolute star!! He talked us through the steak choices, wine choices even desserts and he really knew his stuff. The food was superb but the service was incredible, take care of Diego, he's a credit to you

They have beautiful cuts of meat imported straight from Argentina, and it is carbon-neutral. The chimichurri is great on everything and I highly recommend trying their watermelon spritz if you like refreshing cocktails! Wonderful service as well, Diego was excellent😊

I give my review as a 4-star - meaning very good but not fully outstanding from all others. Starters - We ordered the salmon tartare tacos, sausage platter, and the ceviche. Salmon was fresh, no smell and provided a sweet and tangy (not in the way you might think) and an excellent dish - recommended. The sausages were relatively good with black pudding and chorizo - nicely seasoned and a great sauce - my complaint was that it was overcooked and burned in some spots that it was inedible. I was disappointed with this dish as it had potential - we had to return it and they were nice enough to remove it from the bill. The ceviche was tangy and subtle with a great flavour. Mains - Steak - We ordered a fillet (200g medium), Ribeye (300g Med Rare) and Sirloin (300g Med Rare). The fillet was so far one of the best I have had in this country - extremely tender and seasoned perfectly. The sauce complemented it perfectly and was an outstanding dish - this itself catapulted this restaurant into an eye-turner. The ribeye and sirloin were broadly similar, but the ribeye was slightly undercooked in some areas - looking more like blue or rare than what we asked. The sirloin was more tough, but was still tender with small bits of gristle - but still pretty good and would recommend. Sauces - We ordered the Firecracker chimichurri, peppercorn, béarnaise, and Malbec and marrow sauce. These were all very good, but my favourites were the Firecracker chimichurri and the béarnaise - but the peppercorn and Malbec were both still very good - all went well with the steaks and chips. Overall the food was great, but could still be improved and I would recommend the salmon tartare, fillet steak (especially) and the sauces (in general).
