We had the best night celebrating our Anniversary. Special mention for DIAGO who was amazing!! His friendly, welcoming manner was a pleasure from the start. He made us feel very special. The food was outstanding. Everything perfectly seasoned and so very tasty. Wine suggestion was a perfect match. Could not have asked for more. Steak Night Date Night is a must do.

Once upon a time, Gauchos was cool…but not anymore. The interior is very dated and not well maintained. It feels like they are just milking it for cash and have given up on trying to make any effort. Our food all arrived cold, including the steak which they then researed and the result was that it ended up overcooked. Not wanting to complain a second time we ate it. For a steak restaurant to get steak wrong us in acceptable. They should have cooked a whole new steak. I will never go back and would not recommend it. London has so many better options at this price point.

Excellent steak - on par with best US and Australian steak restaurants. Service was great and chairs were very comfortable. Only downside was the level of noise (music was loud - made conversation difficult).

By far the best restaurant we ate at in London. The food was outstanding! The steak was cooked perfectly and was incredible! The staff was all great but our waiter Diego was so attentive, knowledgeable and made sure everything was perfect especially given there was a dietary restriction. We will definitely be back next time we’re in London.

I went last Friday to Gaucho’s for the first time ever with my dad for his 50th before we watched a movie. To say it was amazing would be an understatement. There were only four other people in the restaurant, but that doesn’t really matter to us. Our waiter also suggested his favourite cocktail, a watermelon spritz and my dad loved it more than me and that’s a statement! Diego, our waiter was perfect. I secretly mentioned it was my dad’s birthday and not only did Diego give my dad a slice of cake, but also champagne AND a birthday card, with a lovely and quite funny message. For my first experience, it was amazing. Diego even told my dad “To fifty more!” And it made us both chuckle before we thanked him. My dad has already made a review and I felt the need to share my brilliant experience. I selected £90-100 because we decided to treat ourselves more than normal. Thank you Gaucho!

It was a great place to have dinner before we headed to The Royal Albert Hall. Our server, Diego, was excellent. He helped us with the menu and wine choices and also went through the allergens menu.

It’s a very luxurious atmosphere so you can dress up. I wondered if it was necessary It's nice to have a glass of wine, but considering the atmosphere, it's not that great. It's not expensive The server was very friendly and the food was good.

While the presentation of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients were nothing short of impeccable, it was the service from Davide that truly stood out. He managed to strike the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion, anticipating our needs with remarkable warmth and professionalism, without ever being intrusive. From start to finish, every aspect of our evening was thoroughly enjoyable, and we are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.

disappointed - ate in on 08/07 and I’m disappointed how bad the service was given the reputation of Gaucho. Just a couple of example - I ordered a starter that they forgot and the staff were more interested in doing their makeup and discussing their makeup in the mirror just in front of my table. It made me feel uncomfortable - please check your makeup before your shift and concentrate on the customer experience whilst on duty. The food I did eat being the steak and broccoli was cooked perfectly so not a complete disaster. I also went here for a few drinks the night before 07/07 and THAT barman is a credit to your team. I had 3 cocktails all of his choice and he made them to perfection and tasted amazing - he was also welcoming, big smile and made me feel at ease.

On an overnight trip to London we happened on this restaurant and they were more than welcoming. Every person we spoke to literally couldn't do enough for us but our waiter Diego was an absolute star!! They have beautiful cuts of meat imported straight from Argentina, and it is carbon-neutral. The chimichurri is great on everything and I highly recommend trying their watermelon spritz if you like refreshing cocktails! Wonderful service as well, Diego was excellent😊

I give my review as a 4-star - meaning very good but not fully outstanding from all others. Starters - We ordered the salmon tartare tacos, sausage platter, and the ceviche. Salmon was fresh, no smell and provided a sweet and tangy (not in the way you might think) and an excellent dish - recommended. The sausages were relatively good with black pudding and chorizo - nicely seasoned and a great sauce - my complaint was that it was overcooked and burned in some spots that it was inedible. I was disappointed with this dish as it had potential - we had to return it and they were nice enough to remove it from the bill. The ceviche was tangy and subtle with a great flavour. Mains - Steak - We ordered a fillet (200g medium), Ribeye (300g Med Rare) and Sirloin (300g Med Rare). The fillet was so far one of the best I have had in this country - extremely tender and seasoned perfectly. The sauce complemented it perfectly and was an outstanding dish - this itself catapulted this restaurant into an eye-turner. The ribeye and sirloin were broadly similar, but the ribeye was slightly undercooked in some areas - looking more like blue or rare than what we asked. The sirloin was more tough, but was still tender with small bits of gristle - but still pretty good and would recommend. Sauces - We ordered the Firecracker chimichurri, peppercorn, béarnaise, and Malbec and marrow sauce. These were all very good, but my favourites were the Firecracker chimichurri and the béarnaise - but the peppercorn and Malbec were both still very good - all went well with the steaks and chips. Overall the food was great, but could still be improved and I would recommend the salmon tartare, fillet steak (especially) and the sauces (in general).

Went in with my mother to celebrate graduation and not only was the food gorgeous but the service was absolutely impeccable special mention to Diego who was absolutely lovely throughout our meal cannot reccommend it enough :)

Was able to book a table for 10pm which worked amazingly with our schedule and was only a short walk from where we were staying. We ordered from the special Gaucho birthday set menu and was the perfect amount of food. All the options were amazing quality. Was a bit disappointed the leche cake was sold out but the banana dessert was also lovely. There is a lovely selection of wines that compliment the food. Our server was professional and attentive. Overall an fantastic restaurant and experience.

My 4th visit to a 3rd Gaucho venue - catching up with friends and family on this great Legacy deal. First impression was dreadful - horrid drain smell as you entered the restaurant reception ... thankfully, this went once we got inside the restaurant. It was me and a pal, and we were plonked right next to a table of 4 so was a bit hard to hear ourselves. Always amazes me this - there were so may empty tables we could have had .. why do you plant people so close together? Waiter didn't pay attention when we were talking about wine - removed the glasses as well as taking the wine menu, and I had to explain I was wanting the £30 Malbec. Food was lovely, as was the wine. I dropped a knife, noone came by to replace it so I just fixed one myself. Not the best of the visits for sure, also a little off the beaten track for me normally but this was where my pal was that day. Think I'll stick to Charlotte Street - and the lovely Ami next time!

OK so obviously an expensive higher level of dining which is why I was disappointed. My starters and main were fine nothing sensational but enjoyable. Our friends wanted their beef done well (yes a supposed sin for beef but I have had it done well myself and it was still tender soft and tasty just not red. So it can be done with a good chef) but it came very red. My wife unfortunately for her - in this place 😀 - is a vegetarian so she had to go for the Risotto or should I say rice pudding! Again the price your paying you expect more. The desert, Banana mess, I couldn't even finish just wasn't tasty. It's a shame it was my first time here and had heard from my friends how good it was, my experience let it down. The quality just wasn't up to the £75 a head price tag. Bar area was good. Nice surroundings/ atmosphere.

Superb steak, great atmosphere but above all, world class service by DIEGO!! He’s the most attentive, careful and thoughtful I’ve seen in a while (and I eat out a lot). Honestly, if you can come, please do and say hi to Diego, he’ll make sure you have the best time

Went here for my birthday and it was probably the most underwhelming meal I’ve ever had. We had the sea bass ceviche for starters which was overpowered by the lime. Truffle mac n cheese tasted like a bland lemon tart with no essence of truffle. For the mains, we ordered a very chewy steak and a wagyu burger. The burger was accompanied by a stale dry bun…We visited on a Saturday evening so not sure if it’s our timing or the restaurants atmosphere is as bland as their food. For a £200 bill this was not worth it.

The furniture are over 20 years old and dirty. Service was ok, food below average, the burrata was very poor. Will not go again.

It’s a bit dingy inside, the carpet where we were sat was dirty. I ordered a wagu burger, the waiter didn’t ask how I wanted it, so I assumed it would be cooked medium. It came well done and I couldn’t differentiate the burger from any other regular burger.

A hidden gem. It’s not as big as other Gaucho restaurants however the ambiance was 10x better than all the others. The service was unparalleled and the wine list a perfect pairings with the sumptuous menu.

Absolutely love Gaucho! Their authentic Argentinian cuisine takes me back to Buenos Aires. The dulce de leche cheesecake is a must-try, and their steaks are cooked to perfection. The cozy ambiance and friendly service complete the experience. Can't wait to come back!

WOW. What an amazing experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. DIEGO, our waiter, was simply WONDERFUL. His knowledge and passion for the menu came across and he was just so attentive to myself and my son, he even arranged a little surprise dessert for my birthday, I am counting down the days to return to this restaurant and I really hope that Diego will be there to serve us again. Been to a few Gauchos. This one was by far the least memorable. Bar team were great. Service was good but food and atmosphere were going through the motion's and needs a boost.

Mouth wateringly good! Thank you to Diego for the incredible recommendations, and for looking after us and providing the best experience possible! Everything was perfect, from the moment we were created at the door, through to being seated at our table, having the menu expertly explained, and all the knowledge that was shared including the meat board that was brought to the table to explain each cut and how to best have it cooked. Both the Ancho Tira and Colorado De Lomo are the best things I’ve ever tasted and I can’t wait to go back again! They kindly gave me a cake for my birthday and made us feel like the only people in the restaurant. Book now, and I promise you won’t regret a thing about your visit!
