Highly recommend a stay at Bell cottages! The pictures online really don’t do the cottage justice in reality - it’s really gorgeous and kept to such a lovely standard. Has everything you need with lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with double bed and a single bed and even a garden. Lots of little touches made a special stay - fresh flowers on the table and milk/cereal in the kitchen in case you arrive late. Rashieda was always on hand to check we were ok and went above and beyond helping with any requests we had. If you’re attending a wedding at Walkern Hall it’s the perfect location as well - a lovely village/country walk gets you there in 15 minutes with good/easy walking route. Pub still closed at the moment but you can get takeaway. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Food is amazing, but the portions are miserable. Please be more generous!

I don't know what was wrong tonight with the food the curry just tasted off and wasn't curried mutton the rice and peas was rock hard and the mac cheese was inedible. for the price it wasn't worth it. won't be going here again.

Lovely restaurant in Stuart Hotel. Food is very nice indeed. Of particular positivity was Katie (restaurant staff member) who went above & beyond to enable specific meal requirements and was outstanding in service & manner. Other staff were all so helpful, friendly, and assisting. Outside hotel is basic, not pretty, but the service and standards indoors make up for this in every way. Can't fault how we were looked after, and the onsite restaurant is a real asset, as was the staff member who looked after us so well. Dry as hell man had it before and was nice but this time wernt it barely any meat just pure bone and upset my stomach also gone downhill big time

Completely dead despite it being a busy night out. Menu prices are only visible if you hold the page at a certain angle that catches the light - maybe that's why it was an £80+ meal for one?? Food completely underwhelming- starter calamari (three rings) rubbery and a dip that was way too glutinous....for nine quid!! Main course steak served on a cold plate - tasteless and uninspiring. Blue cheese sauce like nothing blue cheese related that I've seen before...I think it's out of an Aldi squeezy bottle of 'blue cheese sauce'. Also really glutinous and unappetising. Wine was mediocre, cocktail was meh, service good but felt like they wanted me out asap. No surprise it was so devoid of customers.

Stefan was amazing, he went above and beyond. The food was lovely too!!

Beautiful place by the Riverside, great food and friendly staff. 10 minutes walk from the car park.
