Great venue for live music, a drink and a quick meal. Have been many times and is a lovely venue. Can be a bit loud at times but certainly worth a visit.

Lots of different varieties of food and drinks. Couldn't believe it when I found halal food there. Lovely place to hangout and a nice ocean view.

The quality of the food has declined significantly over the years. Expensive and inedible. Also, Girls can wear short dresses that show off their panties. See-through leggings are also tolerated. But men are not allowed to wear joggers because it looks indecent. There are people who may not be able to wear tight jeans for health reasons.

Unfortunately we were there early. Nothing was really open 😔. And it was raining, but could see that on a warm dry night it would be good

Fantastic place. It was my first visit and I was it was great. The atmosphere was very upbeat. So many places to eat and drink. Great music. Its great that you can take your dogs in too. I will definitely recommend if you are a doggy parent 😀. Will definitely go again

Pedí un pesebre y enviaron a un portero con Coca-Cola y luego después de un poco de botella vino otro portero con ganas de pelear. 1 - no vender alternativas sin decir - infringir la ley 2- Ordena a los matones porteros. Generalmente quieren pelear. Buena suerte.

Well worth a visit. It's a cracking place. Seats throughout and I believe there's 9 vendors from pizza to Greek and burgers. There's a number of bars. Something for everyone. The food is fantastic. Staff are lovely and live music. There's two types of people in this world. Those who have been to stack... And those who have yet to experience stack.

Complete surprise to stumble on this place. Heard a show going on so stepped inside. It was a kids princess show which was great and we stayed to watch and had fish and chips. A little gem

Seriously good choice of great street food, from Mexican to fish and chips, pizza to Greek...all with heaters, covered areas and some really well planned entertainment at different points through the year/week. Highly recommended

For August it was freezing cold and the Greek food left a lot to be desired.

Pint was flat as a fart. Oh and smoking, It's manky when you're eating and someone starts puffing away next to you. Sounds like the government will force places like Stack to ban it. Or get there first and ban smoking at all times on the premises, roof on or off..

A very interesting venue, composed of stacked sea shipping containers. With many tasty food outlets, bars and a sound stage with a variety of performers. I enjoyed my visit. Needs more craft IPA on sale though.

Was about to head out but the bouncers decided to grab my mate for whatever reason, I stepped in and tried to separate them and one of the bouncers shoved me to the floor for no reason at all

Great fish and chips, although busy staff worked well and everyone got served in a reasonable time, we were on a bus trip and everyone who went were happy and had no complaints, fish and chips were ample portion and reasonably priced, served hot. Curry was the best I have tasted in a long time, thanks everyone for a great meal

It makes me really sad to leave a negative review, as have been before and loved it, but yesterday whilst waiting for drinks at the Malibu bar, we noticed the glass was scuffed and looked dirty still, it got changed without issue and then we noticed they were plastic and said maybe that's the reason it looked dirty as it was all scuffed and looked hazy, the younger blonde hair lady who was stocking up the back shelf just rudely turned around and abruptly said that's not our problem though, we was both taken back at this and said she didn't have to speak to us like that and could have said it in a much more professional manner, plus we wasn't even speaking to her and she just jumped in with this rude attitude. Spoilt the mood for the afternoon for in there and we left after one drink!! Not a very good start as soon as you walk in. 😩

Been wanting to come here for a while so why not do it when it's your birthday like me!, basically when you walk in it's an open arena with a large stage for live bands, long tables to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and around the sides are multiple bars and food vendors from Korean street food to greek, it's all catered for, bars are very busy at times but you can normally get served without any hassle, they have heated lamps on almost all tables to keep you warm during colder nights, and there's even an upper floor with even more bars and food etc however beer prices were more than the ground floor for some reason, anyway you can choose to either watch sports on a large screen or to watch the entertainment or to simply have some food and drink, but otherwise prices are on par with most pubs, overall we had a great night out, only spoilt by occasional mouthy gobshites who have obviously had too much, after all the idea is to sit and mix like a German beer halls, but like us relocating to a quieter table is definitely a good choice, if you don't want to mix that's perfectly acceptable! We definitely will be back again in the future...pop in and enjoy a pint!

Great place open air with bars, food and singers etc. Love it. Even gas heaters to keep you warm if weather little cold. Staff pleasant. The pizza are gorgeous.

Took my two kids (6 &14) to STACK Seaburn a few weeks ago as I had heard good reviews. We first went on the Dive into the Blue simulator. It wasn’t really a simulator as I imagined it would be. You sat in a long room decorated to be like the inside of a submarine. It had screens on both walls and a big one at the front. My 6 year old enjoyed it although he may have been a year or so too old for it. Younger kids would enjoy it for sure. My 14 year old tolerated it for the 15 min show length. Then we went for food at one of the 8 or 10 vendors dotted around the central seating area. All looked very appetising. There was also a Greatest Showman show going on the main stage so the place was rammed. There was still plenty of seating on the upper level. Food was great. My son had loaded fries, my daughter had Korean and I had a burger. You go to your chosen outlet and pay and they give you a pager which buzzes when your food is ready. There were also 2 or 3 bars so it would be a good place for adults to come for a few drinks. Didn’t give 5 stars as it wasn’t really a ‘simulator’. My son was expecting it to move and shake as the sub moved about. Otherwise it was a good way to spend a couple hours during the long summer holidays. Parking was nearby and not very expensive but the machines weren’t working so you had to use a parking app.

4 adults, 4 children, and 1 dog visited the Stack tonight. Great atmosphere and some very talented youngsters singing. All of us had food and drinks. All ordered via the Stack App for pick up at certain times. This worked well for 3 of the food outlets (Brack Burger, Holy Duck & Soju & Gogi), and food was either ready for pick-up time or took no more than 2 mins to be ready. It was disappointing that Zza Pizza wasn't ready. We were advised it would only be a few minutes and were given a buzzer. It took more than another 30 minutes for 2 pizzas and 2 portions of chips. The food was hot and delicious, and if we had been told of the delay, we still would have ordered but would have gotten the rest of the did a bit later so we could eat together.

Perfect for meet ups with friends and family. Everything in 1 place. Was there on saturday meeting friends .had a dance and a few drinks. Tgen took dog to beach on sunday with family and had fold and few drinks music and bingo .

The stack itself is a great idea, bringing together food, drink and entertainment all under one roof. It’s very dog friendly which is great, and the street vendors selling food are really unique. We had a bit of a problem with the Korean food vendors Soju and Gogi because they took our order and when we returned to pick it up, they had given it to someone else, so we waited another 20 mins, only to be told they hadn’t started it yet and would be another 20 mins, we asked for our money back instead. There was actually 3 lines, one ordering food, one collecting food, and one not getting the food and asking for refund instead. I think this may have been their first weekend of service, and they had been completely overwhelmed. If they can sort out the process it will be great.

Was so surprised to see a place like this on Sunderland seafront. Loads of food options and a big free show for the kids. Cool!

A fantastic venue with a great atmosphere. Child & dog friendly with gas heaters for when the weather isn't accommodating. Reasonably priced drinks & extremely friendly staff. The choice of food will be sure to please everyones tastes

Expensive both food and drink. However, it seems popular enough. Alas, it's difficult to avoid the noise level. Certainly a place for the young to conrogate.

Visited The Stack today, it was a cold and wet English summers day bit every single member of staff were smiling and happy. We ( family of four adults) ate from the Mexican container, the food was fabulous and the gentleman who was working there was so lovely and even helped me take the food to waiting family. Such a lovely experience, we will certainly be back and hopefully the weather will be much kinder to us.

First time here last night watching my friends young daughter sing on the stage, showcasing young talent and I was blown away with the place, what a great place to visit, plenty of places to eat all under 1 place. Prices are reasonable enough.

Quick service ,good variety, of outlets for a small venue Not my style, but good entertainment. Toilets were close and clean. Prices seemed okay (not great, but okay)

Food prices are a little higher than their other chain stores in the area however atmosphere is good and workers were super friendly and helpful

What can I say was so excited for crowd karaoke with my work colleagues, until my night was completely ruined by jumped up security guards. I must point out that I am disabled and cannot walk I use a wheelchair and so does my friend. We were both stopped and asked for ID. Considering the way we present to society we are hardly posing a riot on the dance floor. We both had no paper ID only had photo eveidence on our phones which was crystal clear. We were both refused entry and made to sit outside in the cold suffering while family members delivered our passports. We observed the security letting in known persons to ourselves who are actually under age some people did not even get asked to show for any ID. After an hour we were offered the chance to sit in there cafe as they realised we were severely cold and suffering, we both felt humiliated and second class, completely singled out by nothing more than bullies. Eventually we were let in with our passports but we had missed over an hour and a half of the event. My advice is AVOID this place with a barge pole if you have any differences DISGUSTING and DEHUMINSED. This is just to clarify I did not remove my status about the Stacks in Sunderland. The Stacks reported the status and had it removed. What we should have had is a public apology and compensation. I wont be returning to the Stacks again I'm sure I can have a better time in a pub with a roof rather than a bunch of disused containers with a patio lamp. I also don't want to part of a children's disco as the average age in that place is 16. Furthermore I don't need repulsive people making me feel sub human for having a disability. If premises are going to ID that's fair enough but don't cherry pick people or single them out when it's highly obvious they don't need it. How about ID the children who are waltzing in your doors without a second glance. Disgraceful.
