The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

Había reservado una reserva de cena para el cumpleaños de mis maridos para el 21 de julio de 2024. Sin embargo, desde entonces el restaurante ha cancelado mi reserva el mes pasado, pero no ha proporcionado ningún reembolso. Gasté 330 libras y me han dejado fuera de mi bolsillo. This was an awful trip, they had no chicken, no bottomless drinks which we were only told once we had ordered and that they didn’t have any. One meal came within 5 mins and then had to wait 40 mins for the second meal meaning we just had to watch each other eat. Helena (I’m assuming the manager as in checked top) did not know what was happening was just flapping around and not getting anything done. There were dirty tables everywhere and only around 8 tables of people eating. No apology or anything for the wait for the second meal when we ordered together and that I had finished my food and when we asked were just told this is hospitality

I understand people after a day shift want to get home on time however having tables on chairs, areas cordoned off and the general appearance of being closed an hour prior to closing time does not lend itself to an enjoyable or comfortable environment. Not what I expected from a so called big name in the industry. A more professional attitude needs to be instilled with the team here.

Order via uber had a superb liver and bacon so we were looking forward to our order. Made order over £75 but ok we wanted it. Currently not available. Glad you can afford a loss of a £75 order. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Worst meal ever. I'm 43, so I've had a few meals. I'm not terribly picky. I've cooked myself some pretty awful meals believe me. Unless you're into frozen supermarket food at gastro pub prices served on sticky tables, in a damp cold room, I would think twice. Still cross. Bah.

My friend and i had a lovely afternoon tea in the Brasserie today. The sandwiches, cakes and scones were all delicious. Service was quick and, as always, our lovely waitress, Vicky, made us feel very welcome.

Wow......the food was fantastic.....the entertainment was great.... the staff are really helpful and friendly.....we all loved our experience and would recommend Sporting Clube Restaurant to all of our friends and family.....This was definitely a night to remember xxxx

Super tasty food with great service

Rotisserie chicken, garlic aioli and French salad is brilliant. Service is exceptional, cute restaurant. Highly recommend. Great for date night.

Exquisite Platter for four people. Fantastic place to eat for Iftaar Ramadan.( break your fast) Lively atmosphere. Recommend to families and friends. Space downstairs isn't massive. But still roomful. Great service.

This is such an underrated restaurant, come in for birthday lunch. No one was in only me and my fiancé. The staff were very friendly and the food was tasty! Quick service, large portions. Really recommend.

Nice place and long opening hours for a late feast if needed

We had booked a table for five plus dog while on a weekend break. It’s a lovely pub - very popular on Sundays certainly with a carvery running alongside its normal menu and specials. The service was excellent, as was the food. I had a steak with a lovely mushroom sauce although I must say the carvery one of my friends had looked delicious. I was very impressed by the way they co-ordinated the delivery of food from the standard menu with the carvery orders, so that we all received our meals at the same time. An excellent lunch with a friendly staff.
